Thank you so much FraudMan: The immigration rules state that both parents must be legally present in the UK.
The only exceptions listed by the UKVI are:
That the other parent is dead or
That you have and have had sole responsibility for the child's upbringing, or
There are serious or compelling family or other reasons which would make it desirable not to refuse the application and suitable arrangements have been made in the UK for the child’s care.
You will need to provide supporting evidence that you meet one of the above criteria.
My advice, travel together first. Then he can come back home later |

Thank you. Anon123: My 2kobo on this is...
If yoy husband has the necessary funds, he can be your sponsor while you send a few funds(not so much) to cover for your living expenses of $10,000. I advise against the use of company funds to sponsor your application. If your husband cant, then you may need to send the money in bits.
You are to submit documents to prove you are into the fashion business which is why you are going for the program related to your experience. All you have mentioned is fine and good. |

The family food business belongs to me, my husband and kids. My husband has his own firm/business separately as well, and he is the only signatory to the bank account of his personal business because it's a sole proprietorship company. OlanikeOba: Hello everyone, I am so confused about how to go about my POF.
We have a food family business with my name on the CAC document as part of the owners.
Can this business sponsor me by sending the whole money at once to my account?
Or should my husband be the sponsor?
Is it compulsory to send the money to my own account in bits or the money for my proof of funds can be sent at once?
Note: I studied industrial chemistry as my first degree. I'm going for global business Management in Humber college to specialise in fashion Management in the 2nd year. (I have an offer letter already for fall 2021) My fashion business is registered with CAC and I have certificates from my fashion schools, with presence on social media. Which documents can I submit to support my application.
I hope I have a good chance of getting a visa. |

Kimkalash: Good afternoon guys. I arrived Canada a few hours ago and still waiting for my connecting flight to Newfoundland.
The flight was lllloooonnngggg. Ethiopian airlines is so cheap and underrated. Please try it if you have time for the stopovers.
I know you can't generalize but the border officials and immigration personnels were super nice. The guy even came to the queue, took our documents (LOA, Tuition receipt, passport and the Declaration card we filled on the plane )and issued our permits without stress. When I went to check in my luggage, the attendants were so humble and attentive.
My guys don limme go Vancouver sha. Arriving St John's after midnight.
Still so speechless I don't know what else to say Congratulations. |
