ChristStriker: Nobody has been able to answer this question.
If a southerner is seen with even a locally made pistol then kirikiri all the way but fulanis move around with military grade riffles-AK47s.
Just imagine. That is the scary thing. I grew up admiring the Fulani control of the cow. They have this 'sanda' stick with which they control hundreds of cows. Unfortunately, it has all changed now. The herdsmen 'open carry' AK47 while patrolling towns and villages with their cows. Logic tells me that AK47 cannot control cows, it can only kill cows! So if these herdsmen are carrying AK47 and not interested in killing the cows, then they want to kill humans. If Fulani patrol my village with sanda stick, I will gladly welcome him and give him water. With an AK47, I will either run away, call the army or even leave the whole vicinity. Equality is broken when one carries AK47 and the others have cutlass. In Oke Ogun, the locals are now using a poisonous spray on their farms. Any cow that eats it dies. Now if a politician arms the farmers with AK47, then the battle becomes fair. Until then, rifles should be withdrawn from the herdsmen. They will behave themselves if they dont have a gun. |

Oke-Ogun area is very tense now. On every radio station, it is Fulani this, Fulani that! I just hope the security operatives in Oke Ogun are capable of handling the looming show down.
The governor has to call the IGP and the president. I am very worried by the drums of war being beat by the locals. Who approved AK47 as standard herdsmen stick? |

Now an Emir has spoken about the issue. In Oke Ogun area, Fulani now rob on the highway on DAILY basis! The farmlands there are reducing because farmers are refusing to farm. Sometime last year, the farmer union in one Oke Ogun town decided to poison their farms. As usual, the Fulanis and their cows came to eat. Many cows died. Now the fulanis are threatening a reprisal!! Reprisal for stealing what is not yours? |

nemesis2u: i believe nigeria is missing a trick here
if u study counter insurgency operations in russia and india u would realize the 2nd stage operations after defeating the terrorist in 1st stage (primary) operations is to recruit local men (who have a reason to hate BH )and surrendered militants to form counter-terrorist groups. they are offered money , political power , immunity etc depending on ur negotiation skills .
example chechen insurgency in russia , pakistani sponsored insurgency in kashmir and punjab
since these people r local and are well versed in BH mode of operations they will be able to penetrate BH network easily be it the BH logistics network , BH financial network or the BH command hierarchy .
empaneling these men with DSS operatives will able to halt and stop BH low intensity terror tactics which is targetted at the local population.
just my views. thought i would pass the idea to u guys Well, Nigeria is doing that, and even better. Or how do you think the Ansaru boss could be picked up just like a common criminal in Kogi? I can assure you that BH was has been penetrated. All these arrests and victories certainly have the hands of an insider, if not, NA would have run into many many ambushes. |

The army has not yet said anything on the released materials, when, how and how recent it his......? But from the pictures I think its from the kareto ambush.
From all boko haram propaganda to wage the morale of fighting troops down and to amper the trust of nigerians for our armed forces will be in vain.
Below are picture of the equipment/gears captured from the troops;
Our troops are fighting on and we support our frontline troops 100%

odikimi: Some time a go, I wrote something about the immaturity on the part of this judge but instead I was insulted. The judge has given a ground of Appeal to Saraki at the Appellate Court to the Supreme Court. You don't show your impartiality to the whole world. This amount to breach of Saraki's right to fair hearing. The Judge should've known better that the aim of the Defence team is to allow him play to the gallery. How has he shown impartiality? By not allowing distractions? He maintains order in his court. The lawyers tried but failed to wind him up. Saraki has been winding up the whole country with his adjournments and supreme court issues. |

Goke7: Let's be realistic here, one issue with regulation of religious activities In Nigeria is that most times Muslims don't comply and if they can't comply, Christians cannot be forced to comply. This is one salient point that makes Christians shout whenever laws like this emerge. This is why churches in Nigeria cannot be forced to pay tax as no mosque will never pay tax.
The 8pm timing can never work. In my university days, both Christians and muslim activities were banned on campus beyond 9pm, we Christians were complying but the muslims were doing tutorials in their mosque overnight. This is one major reason christians don't trust muslims in elected offices at times. El rufai just need to come more clean about the matter by dropping the 8pm issue, it can't work You, sir, are a potentially dangerous fanatic. Christians like you have mixed personal vendatta with the core religion brought by Jesus Christ. Your likes are easy to spot. In my university days, students like you were the most hateful. They carry religion for head, while those worshipping God were going about their business quietly. During your miserable time at uni, you became vigilante to monitor where Muslim students were having TUTORIAL (not religious activity). God will help you! |

terryskender: Wetkas, who was responding to a question from Paul Usoro (SAN), Saraki’s lawyer, on some fund transfers from the senate president’s Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) account to his alleged American Express bank account, said that in the course of his investigation, officials of GTB told him that some of the documents showing the transactions got burnt.
“Several telexes from American Express Bank and facts are here from the bank (GTB),” Wetkas said.
“All the transfer requests made by the investigating team to provide information was an offshoot of a debit transaction that was already consummated on that account, which showed that the bank it carried out.
“There is no doubt that the transaction was actually carried out by American Express Bank.
“There were also police report and an affidavit, which they (GTB) swore to, to show that some of the documents were burnt. There is an affidavit and I believe it was a fire outbreak.”
When Usoro asked: “You did not investigate to find out if American Express Bank exists?”
Wetkas responded: “My investigation was not on American Express Bank, but on the account.”
The defence counsel also asked: “From that form (the telexes showing the alleged transactions) is there any relating to America Express Bank?”
Wetkas: “There was nothing referring to American Express Bank.”
https://www.thecable.ng/gtb-told-evidence-sarakis-foreign-transactions-got-burnt-says-efcc-detective This is why the judge had to come in. Some very dumb questions from the defence team. Saraki transfered money to American Express, confirmed by GTB. Defence team is hanging on semantics. |
Politics › Re: Comedy In Court As Dan Ladi Umar Assumes The Role Of Witness In #cctvssaraki by olapluto(m): 2:50pm On Apr 20, 2016 |
The judge had to come in because Saraki's 80 SANs were beginning to dance away from the main issues in the trial. Asking about Wetkas education or if he knew what American Express does, is all legal antics. Saraki transfered 78000 USD to American Express card. That is illegal. That was the case. Asking if Wetkas uses an ATM is as silly as Saraki's childish attempts to evade justice. |

herbie27: What are you even saying?.
Is PZ a nigerian company?, it's a British company that has branches in many nations.
They are foreign investors jst as Bubu is looking for more overseas...according to him. Thank you for enlightening me on the origin of PZ. You said PZ are foreign investors. What sector of the economy are they actually investing in? Considering the fact that they produce outside Nigeria and send their profits abroad. They only sell products to Nigerians. It is easy to burst their bubble actually. Most materials for production of the things sold by PZ can be sourced locally. If PZ cannot handle the current situation, I think they can leave. The market will adjust and their staffs will be easily absorbed into any new taker. |
