The Agric section of NL is usually bustling with brilliant ideas from small and big time farmers and prospective farmers. Most people seem to always have export as an end goal, or at least industrial production.
Now, Tomato processing and manufacture has come to our doors. Apparently, the companies are buying off the tomatoes and there is nothing left for us the masses.
Does this mean that we cannot produce enough for our own use? that we now import from Cameroun?
Tomato is one of the easiest things to farm. In my compound, we have tomatoes growing near where we pour pepper wastes. Now, with such an easy avenue to get tomatoes, every Jacks should be able to at least produce enough tomatoes to feed his or her family, except you're renting.
I guess another problem is the preservation of tomatoes, hence where the companies become useful.
How can we solve the tomato problem immediately? Or at least within few months?
Any advice on seeds, land types, farming?

Do you have proof of this? I'm not doubting that some maids are treated harshly but all of the maids in my family have been treated as one of the children, and this is spanning across different generations.

Only the maid can attest to how she's been treated. To some ogas and madams, simply giving the maid one meal a day is supposed to be luxury.
To some, the maid eating 3 square meals means they have the right to send her any errands they like, at any time of the night, no matter the risk.

Most...80% of Igbo family tend to adopt young girls and boys from the village, I'm talking about mostly age 5-15 yrs old, they raise these kids same way as they raise their own children...same school, clothing, room, e.t.c. Many instances you cannot differentiate by appearance that these kids are not their blood children as they are treated very well. They get them at young age so that they can mold, treat and assimilate them with their children. Not entirely. In fact, it is rare. What most people (Igbos especially) do is gross child abuse. Taking cheap maids pretending to help them, whereas depriving them of their childhood. This is the same logic behind baby factories and human trafficking.

1. Except Cha Cha is 38 years or above, then Rochas just openly confessed to child abuse.
2. Cha Cha's husband is suspecting Rochas. From the first pix, the husband dey look at Rochas like: 'after you don take her innocence and enjoy the freshness, you come give me chaffs and even no let me enjoy our wedding day'.

For instance,could u imagine tht pmb went to qatar & signed a bilateral agreement with qatar for qatar air to be our national carrier when he fully knows tht govt cant afford the luxury of qatar air tht is very expensive.
thts bilateral agreement pmb signed is not gonna benefit the masses so i see tht as an illiterates actions.
pmb also went to sign a loan agreement with UAE tht the conditions of the loan wasnt favourable to Nigeria in anyway & even our petty minister of finance & minister of budget or so warned him abt signing such loans coz of the conditions attached to it but he didnt listen coz he HAS NO INTELECTUAL CAPABILITY of understanding how international politics works.

Nigeria and China sign $23bn deal for three refineries

Nigeria's state-run oil firm NNPC and China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) have signed a $23bn (£16bn; 18bn euros) deal.
The two will jointly seek financing and credits from Chinese authorities and banks to build three refineries and a fuel complex in Nigeria.
The project would add 750,000 barrels per day of extra refining capacity.
NNPC hopes the construction of new refineries will stem the flood of imported refined products into Nigeria.
'Deepen relationships'
Nigeria is the world's 12th-largest oil producer and the eighth-largest oil exporter.
But the country imports roughly 85% of its fuel needs because of the disrepair and mismanagement of its four state-owned refineries.
"We are about to deepen the existing technical and commercial relationships between China and Nigeria through the signing of a memorandum of understanding," said Shehu Ladan, head of NNPC.
The three refineries will be built in Bayelsa, Kogi and Lagos states, while a location has to be confirmed for the petrochemicals complex.
The Nigerian government has said that foreign companies must invest in developing Nigeria's infrastructure and economy first, before they can benefit from its oil and gas exports.

Sanyo, General gas, and even up to Bashorun area are all known crime areas. It has been like that for years. I had many land offers to build in Akaran, and I declined due to that.
You will not find robbery in areas like Mokola, Eleyele, Apete, Sango, U.I, Even Ojoo areas. These places are close to the Army and Police HQs. By and large, I can vouch for IB anyday anytime. Ibadan is a cheap place to live, that doesnt mean there is poverty. A person earning 50k in Ibadan may have more that one earning 150k in Lag. Only in Ibadan can you still enter taxi for 20 naira, even Ojoo to Dugbe, you can get for 100 naira, something you will nearly pay 500 naira for in Lagos over same distance.
