You are wrong. He said if he was to probe PAST admin, his government wont have the time to focus but he will draw the line from May 29th and allow the court to settle pending cases.
You put it better than me. The OP was just being mischievous.

By the grace of God, we shall not relent to analyse and look into the activities and promises of the major players seeking to occupy offices.
Is your analysis for the feeble minded? the ones that do not reason beyond the surface?
And when will you analyse the falling naira, the job scams, the source of campaign funding for GEJ and the insecurity (which you seem very concerned about).
Politics › Re: Gen Muhammadu Buhari And Matters Arising... by olapluto(m): 5:30pm On Mar 04, 2015
More shocking was Buhari's speech in London on Feb 26, when he said he won't probe the past (thecityreporters.com/i-wont-probe-past-nigerian-leaders-buhari/ ). One begins to wonder whether Muhammadu Buhari has given up on the probe of former thieves so as not to offend the cabals within his party or he has been clipped by the "cabals" within his party who knows that probing the past will send them to jail. If Buhari insist on not probing the past, then he has to apologise to Second Republic Politicians that he visited their sins when he came onboard. He also has no business in Aso Rock as the incumbent is also focusing on the present(which he plan to do).
If you listened well, Buhari answered your questions at the same Chatham house. He said if he was to go after corrupt officials, his government will not have time to face more serious issues of nation building.
Politics › Re: Gen Muhammadu Buhari And Matters Arising... by olapluto(m): 5:26pm On Mar 04, 2015
One begins to wonder whether Mrs Buhari doesn't know that the office is unconstitutional and the "IF" in her statement is not even in contention or Is it that Gen Buhari has changed his mind with respect to the office(which I insist is unconstitutional).
You want us to comment on what you think? Everyone has an opinion my friend, even mad men. However, opinion backed by empirical evidence is what we should be making at this stage.
4. POST ELECTION: The Court or Lawlessness?
In 2003 Gen Buhari the candidate of ANPP spent 20 months in court challenging the fraudulent election result as announced by Obasanjo(navigator) INEC. In 2007 Gen Buhari also went to court to challenge the election of Musa Yardua even against the wish of his party that decided to join the Yaradua Government of National Unity(the Oyegun group). Buhari contested and challenged the result of President Jonathan as the CPC candidate. He lost yet he had his head high because he followed through democratic means. Sadly, as candidate of the APC, his party through its Chairman and Campaign D-G vowed to form "Alternative Government" if by their own judgement the Presidential election was rigged. They also specifically said they won't go to court to challenge the result. In other words they are ready to burn the country and cause chaos rather than take the "evidence" to court(if any).
Is it that General Buhari is tired of following constitutional process or he has been totally hijacked by his Associates? Will Buhari tolerate such a threat from any quarter if he was the incumbent
You're not doing yourself justice by ignoring the democratic antecedence of GMB from 2003 to date. What has GMB said about post election matters? Do you care to listen or are you bent on smooching your opinion?

Whynotthetruth:
Are you thinking? furnish us with facts not rumour...Where's your own list and testimony from beneficiaries?...GEJ nursed, birthed & started this annual presidential scholarship scheme...
Annual presidential scholarship sha! What happened to the scholarships already in existence? More people get PTDF scholarship yearly than this presidential scam.
Scam scholarships like this actually do more harm than good to some recipients. I know of someone who got a 'governor's scholarship' and got stuck when the governor was removed from office. Today, he begs for a living abroad. If we want to give schoalrships, lets do it through agencies that are not subject to political changes.
This man's story may be sweet today, but imagine when GEJ is not reelected.

You're not making sense. Scholarships for Nigerians have been in existence long before you were born. The presidential scholarship is more or less a lottery. If GEJ runs a credible scholarship scheme, I will be the first to hail him. However, we already have a lot of scholarships for Nigerians to study abroad (ETF, PTDF). GEJ's lottery program is not as credible as those examples I gave.
Why should Nigerian youths play lottery everytime they want something from the government? YouWin should be nicknamed baba'jebu.

Nigerians have been getting scholarship to study in the UK long before GEJ came on. PTDF sends many many graduates (I think 5 per state) yearly. Kini Big deal?

All these lies about the economy will turn to austerity and the same FG will put the blames fully on Nigerians.

Jega is going on routine terminal leave. Maurice Iwu did the same. It's standard practice.
''Jega has a five-year tenure which is renewable under Section 155 of the constitution. There is no provision for sabbatical or terminal leave. He is not a civil servant to be ordered by the head of service to proceed on leave and in any case, you can't go on leave when the basic duty for which the constitution has appointed you is being performed. So there is no room for resignation or sabbatical leave''. - Femi Falana, SAN

Do you know it and if you do can you share it?

Or you just don't care about that as long as it is not in favour of your temporary desires i.e. are you a LAWLESS person huh
You must know better than law professors. Anyway, politics will come and go, Nigeria will remain and evil people will meet their waterloo one day soon.
Abacha looked invincible till God struck. The same God who dealt with Abacha is still alive to handle GEJ and other enemies of this country. I believe JEGA will actually leave this week, but still I believe God is alive.
Politics › Re: BREAKING NEWS: Presidency To Remove Jega This Week by olapluto(m): 4:41pm On Mar 02, 2015
In the name of not ruining our democracy, PDP has finished this country. We all sit back, and watch and are becoming powerless. This is worse than military dictatorship. At least then, we knew we could protest and our protests meant something.
However, I know something for sure....Jonathan will not get away with this.

Politics › France Elections: 100 Year Old Woman Contests For Parliament by olapluto(op): 12:40pm On Mar 02, 2015
A right-wing centenarian has put herself forward for France’s municipal elections in March.

Henriette Frantz, 100, is a candidate for Rassemblement Bleu Marine, a coalition movement with links to Marine Le Pen’s extreme-right party Front National (FN).

The former teacher will seek to represent Saint Genis Laval, a district around 10km south-west of Lyon city centre.

“I have always been on the right,” she said. “I’m really happy to run because I think I can make a difference.”

“We would like peace at home,” added Frantz, who was also a candidate for FN in 2008.

“The future is not bright. I long for a serenity that doesn’t exist any longer,” she said, denouncing an “explosive climate” in France and wishing that people would “become more polite and respectful.”

Yesterday, GEJ was meeting the youths, but it was not news. People are not interested in GEJ or anything he does anymore.
I think its way tooo late for GEJ to redeem his image. On a normal day, those Baga pix with GEJ in camo should have boosted his ratings, but it seems to have fallen flat.
You cannot ignore the masses for 6 years and expect to woo them for 6 weeks.

Politics › Re: The Capture Of Abubakar Shekau Will Be A Game Changer In The Coming Polls by olapluto(m): 1:33pm On Feb 28, 2015
I doubt it. Shekau had never been a major factor in electioneering. Economy, exchange rate, unemployment, insecurity (of which Shekau is about 50%), and CORRUPTION are the major issues.
GMB snatched the initiative early on by owning the corruption bit. GEJ till date has not been able to own any major strong point. Killing Shekau does not guarantee that bombs will stop, or that BH is dead.
If Shekau is arrested and names Buhari, Nigerians will take it as a fallacy. Same Shekau attempted to murder Buhari. The votes of the North is set in sand for Buhari, likewise majority of the SW.
Politics › Re: Buhari Endorsed President Goodluck In Speech! by olapluto(m): 8:55pm On Feb 27, 2015
If PDP, GEJ and his advisers are smart, they will see that they are the ones laying foundation for hurricane Buhari to gather momemtum. From the 1st advert of TAN, they had focused more on Buhari than on GEJ. So bad it is that people want to know more about Buhari than about GEJ's developmental projects.
Rather than talk about Gladys Iyama, GEJ could have gotten more votes if he spoke about....erm...Benin/Ore.
Rather than claim to have cured Ebola, GEJ could have gotten more votes if he praised the gallantry of Dr. Adevoh.
These things are not rocket science, but GEJ has tooooooo many wicked, self centred aides who are going to fool him till its late. These aides are the ones who made GEJ lose his major support base from 2011 elections. I was team GEJ then, until I was labelled the enemy by these aides (Reno Omokri still blocked me from his twitter).
Politics › Re: Buhari Endorsed President Goodluck In Speech! by olapluto(m): 8:48pm On Feb 27, 2015
You see, it is painful. Painful that GEJ goes round the country, does cosmetic military visits, spends so much money, yet he gets zero attention from Nigerians. You can see that even you @OP is more focused on listening to the man of the moment (Buhari).
That is the story of Buhari and his popularity. Nigerian political scene is silent when Buhari is not talking. One word, one action, one dance, one wave, and the whole country is vibrating
Yesterday, the whole Nigeria was focused on Chatham House. Media houses were transmitting live video, newspapers were falling over themselves to report the live events.
Summary:
PDP is helping clear the path for Buhari. PDP made so much noise about Buhari's health, that everyone wanted to know the truth. Buhari easily milked this with his speech at Chatham house. He quenched the rumour of PDP and also used the attention created by PDP to score against them.

The first lady interviewed by RPG is Omoh Williams. She lives with her parents in Manchester. She was coerced to join a free bus from Manchester down to London this morning. Her parents are very embarrassed by this video. Suffice to say here that her parents are not poor. They are a typical middle class family in the UK.
