This event will be the start of the push to Buhari victory. It is exactly 30 days to the elections and we will all see a rejuvenated Buhari. |
Woking ko Virginia water ni. Even in GEJ's presence, the engineer said the station cannot produce more than 200MW as it is. I wonder where you saw 750MW. |
chukzyblingz:Which party has been ruling since the 1999? Same period that all civil society groups were weakened. |
I cringe as I read this. Oh my! What has NANS turned to? NLC, NANS, and civil society groups have all been weakened by the money bags of PDP. I pity the future of this country. |
You read silly lines line: 1- Wearing the same glasses. You wonder where to start from with such folks. It is obvious that Buhari visited Tinubu in his London home and they too the pix there. Different clothes, but same 'glasses' and PDP starts to feed on that. Very good. This spot the difference game will get GEJ more votes. |
Do these look like Nigerian soldiers to you? Our soldiers are too disciplined for such nonsense. They make real gallant gyrations, not this pathetic skelewu attempt. |
Its too late for this. GEJ took Nigerians for granted for too long. Too long for his own future and goods. |
PDP is misusing its little time in limelight. Buhari and his campaign team are busy doing plenty groundwork while Fayose is stalking Buhari. BY the time the people's general engages the world on Thurday, the world will warm up to him and make him the crown candidate. By the time Buhari returns, it will be hurricane Buhari MARCHing to Aso Rock. |
Kenai:Who gave Guardian the pix in the first instance? APC have released several pix of Buhari in London, Guardian didnt use any. |
MusaIbrahim1:Your picture is a very poor attempt at photoshop. The imposed shadow is cheap. |
I am 100% sure that Chatham house would also provide accommodation for the general. Having said that, I think PDP is campaigning for Buhari for this highlighted news. Renting a flat means GMB has no house in London. Many children of politicians have flats in central London and expensive postcodes. |
Only loonies will believe that APC can photoshop Blair into a meeting with GMB when Blair is still alive. Same loonies did not believe Chibok girls were missing. Same loonies believe GEJ is the best president of Nigeria ever. Same loonies believe GEJ can win without rigging. |
Seun:Not you Seun! Lets be frank Mr. Seun. Why did Gen. Buhari travel? You must know something Nigerians dont know. |
davidstones:I give up on you man! If you get to a place in life where you organise high stake events, you can do it as you like. |
davidstones:OK mr man. I organise academic lectures with guest speakers from all over the world. If I send emails to a nobel prize prof to attend my event and he checks his schedules, then gives me a softish yes, do I go on to announce that to the world? If the Prof himself puts the event on his website, it still doesnt give me the right to publicise such event until I have a written or concrete bond from the Prof. It is very embarassing for the host to announce a guest speaker and the speaker does not turn up. APC can categorically say Buhari will attend Chatham house because APC hold the key to that event after being invited. Ps. It is exhaustive trying to educate adamant folks like you on NL. Let it rest and wait till Thursday to confirm whether APC lies or You are faulty in your reasoning. |
davidstones:You know there should be a point where one has to give up. Chatham house always wanted Buhari to speak. They however cannot release press statement until they are firm-sure that GMB will be there. All this nonsense of listing Chatham house events is childish. If Obama is in the UK tomorrow, and accepts Chatham house invite, they will create the space for him. Stop being ridiculous. About the pix, well, you can travel to central London to take the correct pictures for us all to see. If not that chanced, wait till thursday and watch the live stream of the event. Also send the link to Fayose to see how hospitals look like. |
Simple as ABC. Now where is AYedee and his fellow blind men. I called Chatham house last week and they confirmed that they were tring to get written comfirmation from GMB. PDP went dancing na.ked on flimsy issues. I urge all Nigerians to tune in to the live stream of the event on Thursday. DO not miss it. Meanwhile please ignore TANwigis who have nothing positive to contribute. |
A new set of millionaires to be made by GEJ. Congrats to the panelist and their families. They are the beneficiaries. |
deletrue:It is well. |
I see some ill-informed goons are trying to defend GEJ by stating economic meltdown (whatever that means). I will like to quickly remind them that GEJ has way more resources than OBJ. OBJ was serious about Nigeria. GEJ is a joker with a bag of excuses. |
Apart from ceremonial roles such as being guests at presidential inauguration, OIC conference, UN meeting, etc, has GEJ attended any intellectual conference internationally since he became president. Has GEJ impacted on world policies as the leader of the black nation? How has Nigeria's stock risen or fallen under GEJ in international diplomacy? Do world leaders take GEJ's opinion seriously? How many world leaders have visited Nigeria under GEJ? The world economic forum which GEJ spent millions to host, what was the outcome? How did GEJ perform when faced with foreign media e.g CNN, BBC, etc? Answer those questions, and consider Buhari. Buhari is not even president yet, he has met US foreign secretary, met ambassadors from various countries, met former UK PM, being on world media (CNN; AlJazeera, Channel 4). The difference is clear. |
After 5 years of demonising the Islamic religion, calling Muslims terrorists and the likes, our presido now realises that Muslims are also Nigerians. He could do well to start from the facebook wall of his campaign spox. |
On a day Buhari is meeting the world leaders, outgoing president Jonathan is pouring water into a basket. Alaafin will not endorse you GEJ. Even if he does, it wont add 10 votes to your votes GEJ. |
A top dawg knows where to get the fattest bone. Nigeria's diplomacy will skyrocket when Buhari is sworn in. All these countries maltreating Nigerians will sit up when we have a president that can speak and other countries will listen. |
Second video was shot in an Igbo neigbourhood. No surprises with the accents and their choices. |
Video is a representation of Nairaland, and perhaps Nigeria as a whole. Interesting that the only person against Buhari in the first video is a Ghanaian. Others were very happy with Buhari, with two respondents doubting if PDP will release power when defeated. This is what Buhari himself saw in Ibadan that made him dance. |
Sobeautiful:You know very little about diplomacy. Why is GEJ jittery and calling all Ambassadors in Nigeria to a meeting? He was clear in the meeting that he is not comfortable with the level of support Buhari is getting. It may interest you that while GEJ is getting bashed by most EU government, NO foreign govt has yet faulted Buhari on anything. When the election results are released, no matter the cry, the reportage of BBC, CNN is likely to be th world opinion. If GEJ is potrayed as a despot, he is done for. Think Gbagbo, Ghaddaffi, Jonathan. |
Well, I do not know about Paris, but Buhari seems to be the prefered candidate of the British government, USA and French governments. This is very good positioning for when election results are coming out. EU observers already in the country. |
I put a call through to Chatham house, and I was lucky to speak to someone who knows about the plan. He said the following: 1. Chatham house want Gen. Buhari to address them. 2. They (Chatham house) have not gotten no official confirmation from the general (only verbal assurances) 3. They are aware that Gen. Buhari was travelling to the UK 4. They have yet to fix a date or time for any such event...but 5. As soon as general Buhari confirms attendace, they will put out infomation in form of a press release. 6. This will probably happen later today |
Close to throat. Very lucky escape by Mr Eruka from the hands of GEJ and his wife's thugs. |
Every single 'achievement' listed by GEJ is either exaggerated or an outright lie. From 25000 KM road, to Ebola, to 12 universities, to YouWin, Sure-P, almajiri school, etc. GEJ should be lucky that APC is not picking holes in these lifelines GEJ is holding on to. How else does one rationalise a government that wants to use IT to curb corruption but is afraid of electronic card reader by INEC. |
