Politics / Re: Senate Probes NNPC Unbundling, Says Buhari’s Action Illegal-vanguard by olasco123: 8:01am On Mar 10, 2016
mayorkyzo:
Though the unbundling of the NNPC is a good move, but it's rather unfortunate that it's not in accordance with the law..the govt should have first tried to amend the NNPC act before going thru with the unbundling process..
I don't think a serious minister needs to always go back to the senate to reorganize his ministry for better accountability and performance. This has always been done without any noise. But when it's Buhari, it must be wrong. as long as its not favourable to the looters, it's must be dictatorship. God help this country.

To the masturbating APC zombies, the judiciary is one arm of government that Buhari cannot intimidate!! Rather if these judges gang up against him,he would be the one begging for mercy!! Don't forget Buhari cannot send anyone to prison, only judges can
don't forget that all the judges found currupt will be flushed out leaving only the near honest ones. After which me and you will be sure that Nigerians will always get fare Judgment, irrespective of your connection or financial advantage.

Are they thinking that any of those supreme court justices would collect bribes through bank accounts? DSS should better be prepared to check their soak aways, their ceilings, their vídeo cassete casings, their shoes and shoe racks, their mattresses, their farms, fuucck even their wives' bum shorts.
because of the way people collect bribe with impunity in the past without question, a lot of judges will definitely be careless.

Foreign Investors have withdrew their investments from Nigeria.

Our stock market value is on a continuous slide. Dangote is now 53rd as against 26th richest man.

All thanks to President Buhari's change agenda.
sorry to disappoint you. Nigerian government will not stop the war against corruption even if stock market drop to zero.

Yea, I am Buharist, but this ain't cool. This ain't cool at all, and they need to find a way around it.

On another note, I know people called GEJ clueless a lot in the last dispensation, but this abuse on Buhari is too much. I mean, look at those pictures/meme people are making of him. It is in sad taste. Just look at the one on the first page of this thread. It ain't cool at all...this is th President of our country, and as long you are a Nigerian, he is your leader, and representative to the outside world.
I don't think those pictures mean any thing significant if our prophets can be given more ugly paintings. I think it's the faceless group of people doing this that it says a lot about.

GEJ was a great president my people.

Say it, nothing will happen to you . Rather, it shall be well for him who sees truth and speaks out.
if GEJ is your desired leader even after all these revelations, that speaks a lot about your intention for Nigeria .

i luv this guy for his simplicity and his sense of humility as a Governor in a country where people tend to live a life of luxury and debauchery, he is the real servant leader....
so you don't care if he works with the tax payers money to build projects. As long as he idles around eating bolly and riding okada here and there. Where Is he going in the first instance? Is it that he just came out of the office for this show of shame? Borehore commissioning!!! Redicilous!!!

You dont get it. He really wants you to have headache over his biafran pain. what i dont understand is the hatred of the Yoruba people. Are we your leaders who are preoccupied with looting money for their personal benefit rather than taking advantage of their political possition to fight intellegently for the igbo dream

Let me tell you the truth,i've never said this before but i'll tell you now,as much as i dream of biafra happening, the truth is the same people who created Nigeria are the only ones who have the power to split it. My brother read carefully, honorary not accademic phD
Built2last:
This is the sole reason we are not taken serious in UK and U.S. If you show up in UK, U.S, Canada, etc with our first degree, no blue chip company will offer you a job till you acquire their own degree.

Reason is simple, we dash and award degrees to the highest bidder.
Patience Jonathan collected more than 3 honourary degrees when the husband held sway in government.

Tinubu has gotten the first for being king of the West.

Watch how PMB will be awarded soon by many mushroom universities.

The question i ask is for what reasons are they awarded. Why was PGEJ not awarded before the husband became president. Was Osun Univeristy founded in 2015, why now?

Dont get me wrong. Am happy for him. Just concerned about the motive and the image we paint about our education...

Politics / PDP: Jonathan Plot The Road To June 12 by olasco123: 10:59pm On Mar 22, 2015
The last time Nigerians found themselves in this kind of situation was June 12, 1993 when the majority of Nigerians had a great hope that someone they really trust (MKO) is eventually contested for the position of the presidency. A similar atmosphere was in the air prior to the election, there was a lot of skepticism based on the anxiety that the election may not hold. Some agents of the devil were used to perpetrate various strategies aimed at disrupting the electoral process.
To cut the long story short, after all these strategies failed, they eventually annulled the election even when majority of the citizens peacefully voted for HOPE 93. Hence, the Hope of Nigerians continues to be shattered once again till today.
Today, Nigerians feel the same way again, majority of the people believe they have found someone who will be able to deliver them from the doldrums of poverty, insecurity, lawlessness, corruption, nepotism etc. The same is being experienced after 22 years again as the incumbent government and his cohort are trying to deny the people of the CHANGE that about to come.
Are they going to allow people vote this time?
Will they be able to wait and see the result before they roll out their evil plan leading to cancellation of the election?
Is there truly a curse on this country as suggested by some of our elder state men?
Why must Nigeria suffer this much from her citizen?
Is the western world truly sympathetic of our problems or are they the ones sponsoring some Nigerians to stop her progress?
What will happen this time? I am really scared because if we miss it again it may take us more than 22 years to get it right again
When I read some posts on Nigerian public media, I wonder whether some of the people posting those comment lives in Nigeria, going by the way they make mockery of our future in the name of promoting the status quo.

Let me ask you a very simple question.

Do you really think looted funds cannot be wired to SA? So in your understanding, only looted cash can be transferred by cash while legit money is only transferred electronically?

Learn to speak positively about your country please. Our leaders are corrupt but I believe their corruption i s largely exaggerated.

eeh!!! please know now that the level of corruption, wastage, looting etc in Nigeria is highly under estimated. in the past it used to be perpetrated by few government executives, now more people are involved. government officials, politicians, clergy men, banks, construction companies etc (those who deal with govt and its officials) are all conduits through which this our rich country is being defrauded. This is why most people no longer trust the govt including foreign govts. After all what is the big deal in buying arms for national defence that they can not do clean and smooth.

Everything you've asked is self-explanatory.

I'm not saying this because I don't want to help you, but because doing such a thing could take away the admission spot from another fellow Nigerian that worked his/hers way up the ladder in a fair and respectful manner.
