Almost all Nigerians have no conscience irrespective of tribe and religion. Corruption has been institutionalized in our blood. Primary school pupils cheat in exams, I have seen pastors in bible schools cheating during exams, imams also...We need a paradigm shift. Our morals are defective. |
WHAT $2BILLION MEAN IN DASUKI'S SOKOTO STATE. This whole $2.1billion former NSA Col. Dasuki allegedly misappropriated needs to be explained. [1] First, let’s not call it $2.1billion but █-₦515 billion ▓ For perspective, let’s explain what N515bn is. [2] ALL the FAAC allocation for ALL 36 states shared in 2015 for Jan, Feb AND March was █- ₦522 billion [3] For Sokoto state, the NSA’s home state, the monthly allocation for 12 years is █- ₦515bn [4] The TOTAL FAAC allocation for Sokoto State for January - June 2015 (cumulative) is █- ₦20 Billion AVERAGE monthly allocation is N3.5billion. [5] It may interest us to NOTE that ALL the money Sokoto State has spent since 1999 democracy till today is less than █- ₦515 billion █- If this doesn't make your BLOOD BOIL because of SENTIMENTS, nothing will......and you NEED to be scrutinized for witchcraft - Explanation by Pere Sawacha. And this is just #Dasukigate We haven't seen #Oritsejaforgate We have not seen #Nimasagate, Nor #NigeriaCustomgate We haven't seen #Oduahgate, We haven't seen #Diezanigate Nor have we seen the father of all #gates, #Goodluckgate! Brace up Nigerians. Grab your tissues and handkerchiefs. We are in for a long period of exposé on the sad scandalous looting of our common wealth by PDP in recent years. |

The Federal Government is now paying for transportation surcharge on imported fuel not extra cost of fuel, due to the drop in the global oil price to about $45 a barrel. A check by Daily Trust on the template of the Petroleum Product Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) published on December 3, 2015 indicated that the landing cost of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) locally known as petrol has dropped to N80.69k per litre as against N88.7per litre on September 3, 2015. The template published by the pricing agency in its website, indicated that the landing cost plus other margins of the petrol per litre is now N96.18k. This translates to payment of N10.7k transportation expenses such as trader’s margin, Nigeria Port Authority charges, jetty depot thruput charges, lightering expenses and storage due to the inability to refine fuel locally. Other expenses that gulped N15.49k on each litre are that of distribution expenses such as retailers, transporters, dealers, bridging fund, Marine Transport Average (MTA). C+F (Cost, Insurance and Freight) as at that date was N69.99k at the Conversion Rate (MT to Litres): 1341 and Exchange Rate (N to $) at 197. With C+F at N69.99k plus transport margins of N10.7 k, Nigerians should be paying N80.69k per litre if the fuel can be refined locally. Currently, the three local refineries in Kaduna and Port Harcourt and Warri are virtually refining nothing. With the combined refining capacity of 445,000 barrels per day, the three refineries if fully working can atleast provide about 40 per cent of the country’s daily fuel need. Reacting to the situation, a lecturer at Economics Department, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and member, Daily Trust Board of Economists, Dr Muttaka M. Usman said although the country has no capacity to refine local fuel due to poor refineries, the government should look at total domestication of fuel refining in the near future. Usman said with this situation, it’s the right time for government to exit the so called fuel subsidy and concentrate in building more local refineries in collaboration with private managers. According to him, many countries own refineries but hand them to private sector to manage, a situation that reduces serious maintenance burden on government. http://dailytrust.com.ng/news/business/fg-now-pays-transport-surcharge-not-subsidy-on-imported-petrol--pppra/123004.html |

Dem no born any policeman well for checkpoint to harass the boy I swear Reason-because he's highly connected now ![]() |
Based on the confessions of dokpesi,we can infer that it all explains why he was mad and crazy in disfiguring PMB during their campaign full of calumny using his media house-AIT |
When corruption was the order of the day, they were comfortably waxing and glaring as they flourished without complaint. Now that the scene is positively changed, they are wailing and hating their perceived enemies. Na GOD catch una |
As it stands now,any action taken by buhari and olisa metuh is not shouting about it,means that the action is not in the interest of nigeria,PDP is averse to any positive action |

How easy it is for some of us Nigerians not to see the change happening under our noses but we are quick to notice the one happening in a far away nation. We didn't notice that our own President restricted the number of guests of each Minister during their swearing in to two. We didn't notice the drastic reduction in the number of ministers by PMB. In fact if not that the constitution stipulates that a minister must be appointed from each state, the President wanted less. We haven't notice that the President has travelled with the least number of delegates in his entourage compared with the immediate past administration. Who says that President is not borrowing a leaf from PMB? Meanwhile if it was in Nigeria that the President sacked those individuals, we would have shouted witch hunting. Maybe some of us should relocate to that nation. SMH. |

A leadership crisis is brewing at the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), following the exit of Ahmadu Giade, who spent 10 years as the agency’s chairman/chief executive. Some concerned NDLEA officers have, in a petition, rejected the appointment of the agency’s secretary, Mrs. Roli Bode-George, as acting chairman/chief executive. They said Mrs. Bode-George’s appointment “is unacceptable because she is “not an employee of the NDLEA”. The aggrieved senior officers noted that the situation “is breeding disaffection” in the 25-year old agency, urging “President Muhammadu Buhari to consider the appointment of one of the directors of NDLEA as the chairman/chief executive”. “It is interesting to know that both the chairman/chief executive and the secretary of the agency are appointed by the President and Commander-in-Chief in what has been described as two key political appointees on consolidated salary. In view of the end of the tenure of Giade and vociferous clamour for a staff of the agency to take over leadership, it has become necessary to clarify who members of staff of the agency are,” the officers wrote. In the petition, titled: “Who Succeeds Ahmadu Giade in NDLEA After Ten Years in the Saddle”, the officers explained that the staff of the agency were those defined in Section 5(5) and (6) of the NDLEA Act, which spelt out terms and conditions of service of officers. “It is obvious from the above provisions that the chairman/chief executive and the agency secretary are not staff since their appointments are not in accordance with the terms and conditions of the service of the agency. “Thus, the clamour for a staff of the agency to take over the top job clearly excludes the secretary of the agency. This is more so, given the fact that Mrs. Roli Bode George, was appointed in October, 2014, as secretary without any law enforcement background,” the petition stated. They insisted that precedents in other national agencies showed that the NDLEA secretary was not in a suitable position to take over as the chairman/chief executive. “When Nuhu Ribadu was removed as the EFCC chairman, Ibrahim Lamorde, then director of Operations, was appointed as acting chairman. ‘’When Mrs. Farida Waziri was also removed as EFCC chairman, the director of Operation was again made to act as chairman pending appointment of a substantive chairman. On all these occasions, the EFCC also has a secretary,” it added. However, when contacted, the NDLEA spokesperson, Mitchell Ofoyeju, said Giade’s decision to hand over to Mrs. Bode-George was in accordance with the law. He added that the petition was unfounded, and without any basis in law. “There is nothing wrong about handing over to the director-general. Ordinarily, the President should appoint the next chairman/chief executive, but since that has not been done yet, the DG is the next to the chairman in terms of hierarchy and is also the secretary to the board,” Ofoyeju said. http://thenationonlineng.net/succession-crisis-hits-ndlea-as-senior-officers-reject-acting-chair/ |

APC have just played into the hand of the opposition by this unwise decision. I am very sure the election will be nullified by the court. Why conducting a fresh primary election? The deputy governorship candidate or the runner up to the APC primary election ought to have been adopted for the supplementary election. |
