if you hv 600w panel hooked up on a 12v system as you describe, under ideal conditions, which include panel orientation and angle, panel make and efficiency, proper cable sizing etc, max current you would expect to get is 600w/12v -- 50amps, but since we know nothing is ideal in nature, your max instantenous harvest maybe 500w or 42amps, though the avg wud be btw 200w n 350w, thus 20amps to 30amps, wch is ok for a 12v 200ah battery.

I'm planning on buying the mppt charge controller but for now I have the 12 volts luminous hybrid with pwm CC to make do with.

Please if you're having a 12 volt battery with 600 watts solar setup and a 60A mppt charge controller, is it the whole 60A from the CC that is going to go directly into the battery or is there any other thing i should be aware of? I don't get it

there is a 24v/50amp mmpt fangpusun charge controller 100Voc , sold by JUO for 60k or so...y not try it if u have a 24v setup, or spend upto 110k and get the 48v/60amp version that can handle 150Voc

The answer depends on the type of battery you have and a few other variables - Flooded batteries don't like too fast of a charge and Gel batteries too although they are better than Flooded in that regard. With AGM batteries you can push in 25 to 30% of rated capacity with no issues.

You need to provide more info - battery capacity, inverter charging current, usual level of discharge, size of PV array e.t.c

If your purchase decision is not already locked, do a Fangpusun instead, based on my field experience, you should get better mileage here.

battery capacity- 420 amp luminous tubular batteries.

charging current- a 10 and a 15 amp charging currect switch.

600watts solar panels.

i have a question. i use a luminous hybrid inverter and I'm planning on upgrading to a felicity mppt charge controller. the question is,will charging the batteries with the inverter and controller simultaneously have any negative effect on my batteries?

MTN Nigeria on Wednesday announced a price slash across all its data plans and offerings, barely two weeks after launching 4G+, which offers customers faster data speeds.

The Chief Marketing Officer, Rahul De, who disclosed this at a news conference, added that the slash was a means of delivering more value to the customers.

According to him, under the new price structure, customers can now enjoy more value for their money with up to 30 per cent more data volume for 30-day plans.

Mr De said that customers would also enjoy up to 100 per cent incremental volume for weekly data plans and 25 per cent incremental volume for daily plans.

“With the faster internet speeds delivered by the launch of 4G+, this data price slash could not have come at a better time for our customers, as we have seen that faster data speeds means more data usage.

“The increased quality and speed on the MTN network, has enabled customers to explore new ways to use old services while discovering applications.

“In the space of a few years, people went from instant messaging to sharing funny videos and from listening to music to streaming high definition movies.

“People’s data needs have changed, we recognize that. Our customers need much more and we are delivering that for less,” he said.

He pointed out that to enjoy the price slash, a customer can dial 131, *131# or download the MyMTNApp on their mobile phones.


He said that data bundles were also available via all bank mobile apps, mobile banking channels or by USSD, urging that for more information on the data offerings, please visit https://www.mtnonline.com/data-plan.

“For the new data plan, a 1.5GB 30-day plan will cost N1,000, a 2GB 30-day plan will cost N1,200 and N2,000 will get MTN customers 3.5GB worth of data for 30 days, ” he said.
