I think the Dallas Cowboys are a viable contender. I also would not count out the New England Patriots. I am a Raiders Fan and hope the make the playoffs and then it will be Randy all the time. |
Noble Austria does not allow Dual Citizenship, and i think she has to leave and re-enter the country with her Austrian/EU Passport and would therefore need a Visa to visit Nigeria. |
Yeah i think he needs to go the Nigerian Embassy and see what they can do for him. I do not think that they can get him a Birth certificate, but i am sure they can help. |
@Abbincoln I totally Agree. I think you are onto something. I think in today's world, no government should be allowed to take it's people hostage without the international community stepping in. |
@Toshmann Again you make very solid arguments, but i will have to respectfully disagree. I think the US does not have to Love Nigeria, I think they have a strong interest in Oil and i think that they have an interest in improving democracies around the world. OBJ knows he needs US blessing for his 3rd term agenda and i think it will be sad if they go along with his agenda. I am Glad Bush scolded him and i think we need a seemless transfer of "Elected Power". But again i respect your opinion. |
I am supporting the US Team and hope they can prove themselves. But deep down i know Brazil will be the team i would most love to watch. |
@Toshmann Please hold on to your opinion, i am not discrediting your points, but i must say that it is high time we are held responsible for our failures in governance and corruption. We have a president that said last year that he has only 675days left and is now asking to change the constitution for another run. I think for our sake, and sake of people without a voice, the US should meddle in our politics and bully him and his aspirations OUT OF POWER. I am sorry but i am glad that we have an interest the US needs(Crude Oil) They buy our oil, and give our leaders someone they are answerable to. Since they do not give a hoot about their citizens, maybe sanctions, or boycott would get their attention.OBJ says one thing in Abuja and tells a different story in Washington DC. Sibli is saying all the right things and as hard as it is to say sometimes, i think the UK is not all that bad, or else there will not be over I million Nigerians living there. I am disgusted at the arrogance of our leaders and ashamed for my country. I wish the interest of the people would prevail over OBJ's personal agenda. And i will be in support of stopping this 3rd term agenda using all diplomatic powers of the UK/USA and if that does not work, i will even go as far as putting Assassination on the table. The US has a law against assassinating foreign leaders, but i am sure there is someone out there that can get rid of this nuisance we have in Aso Rock. |
Toshmann I feel your pain bro, but i will have to agree with Sibli here. I think we should stop the "Blame the west first attitude" and try to control our destinies. I also am of the view that the US in particular should do everything including putting sanction on the government of OBJ, if he seeks a third term. This one party system of government has failed us for 7years and i am tired of the nonsense. We need fresh faces and fresh ideas in Aso Rock. |
@Onyibaby I am not sure they have sally's in England. |
T4Cash/People Do u have any recent Pictures of Tinubu Square? I was there years ago and would like to know what it looks like today. Does anybody have pictures of the CMS/TBS Area? I would like to see how does area look like today. I remember back in the days, it had trash everywhere and i was wondering if it is looking any better. |
@Toshmann That was quiet funny. I understand where your sentiments are, Nigeria can be a very frustrating place and you want to hope for the best many times, but the country has this depressing vibe about it. Especially if you are outside looking in. I feel your pain, and wish there is something we could do to change the image of that country. But the term "Third world/Underdeveloped" I think is appropriate for now. |
If your country has more than 40% Unemployment, No Healthcare and more than 50% of the population would rather live somewhere else, then i would say that Nigeria is an Underdeveloped Third World Country. There is potential, but no progress. As long as we need aid and ask and beg for foreign aid, i think they will call us whatever they want to. Shameful but true. |
@T4cash Do u have any recent photos? You can pass it along, so i can get an idea of what the before and after looks like. Thanks |
Wow These prices are off the chain. In the US i pay $19.99 for Broadband for as many computers as i want, and the company gives you all the hardware for free too. Infact if i paid annually, my cost is $14.95 per month. These companies are making a killing in Nigeria. I see why people are always in per as you go internet cafes. It is rear to find an internet cafe where i live. Everyone has internet connection at home or you can surf free on DSL in the mall, library, bookstore, school and a bunch of different places. I guess the Internet is a luxury in many homes out there huh? |
4cash Where did the Fountain go? |
@Mariory I guess the Nigerian Public Institutions do not work. If you read her post, you will notice that she followed the rules every step of the way. Some Bureaucrats just felt like overstepping their protocol and place a call to her house, not to tell her that her Visa was ready but to ask her for her source of income. How ridiculous. |
Twinkle It is obvious that he does not know about the UK, and was just hoping to get some attention which he has now received. You should notice how quiet he has been since his last post. I am still hoping to hear how he explains this one. |
An Apple will never be a strawberry. You are hoping for a change that will not happen. Population in Lagos is 9Million and counting, Abuja has maybe 1million. |
Yeah Men! I have to say I love my Job a lot. I work with Mad cool people and i have tried to quit for the last two years and i have not been able to leave my co-workers. From the Grape Vine I know this girls that knows Nnenna closely and swears that Nnenna won the whole thing. She cannot confirm it 100%, since Nnnena is under very strict contractual policies. Please do not quote me, but this girl i know swears heaven and earth that Nnenna carried it all. We will see thou! Good for Her if she won. I think the other black girl is Hot and will give her a run for her money. I guess it is on 2nite @ 9pm on UPN right? |
@Skidoc It is Utterly shameful they way you are acting and i am sorry but your ignorance is apparent. You have no idea about the ladies brow and you are just trying as hard as possible to make a fool of yourself. I think that the wise thing to do is to keep shut, if you cannot help her. Or you can keep acting like a Major League *** |
TheOraku Please where did you get these facts? One or some of them are not accurate. Your headline says these are facts, where are you getting your informartion from. The US national debt is much higher than $5.92Trillion. |
