"⌣»̶·̵̭̌·̵̭̌✽̤̈̊Ŧђɑ̤̥̈̊п̥̥̲̣̣̣kƨ̣̣̣̇̇̇̇✽̤̈̊·̵̭̌·̵̭̌«̶⌣With all due respect why do you guys write with this kind of font/characters. Its so had to read and I wouldn't know what you are trying to proof by using it. Then how does one help you out when you jumble everything up and one can't make head or tail of what you've written? Regards. |
iykmora: thanks for the reply...thought it could have something to do with d s/ware version. I appreciate the time you spared! If you are confident enough, you could still go ahead and try out a different software version. Its all still part of the learning curve. Regards. |
Mfumu: Was trying to know if Mesh dish does receive ku band signals and again after many are complaining to have failed capturing the Channels.Just know that this question didn't need to arise in the first place. Regards. |
mathsa: Hi Marc33, thanks for your reply. The southeast beam of Eutelsat 16 carrying the canalsat reunion package is shown below. https://www.eutelsat.com/files/live/sites/eutelsatv2/files/contributed/jahia/satellites/coverage/EUTELSAT_16B_Ku-band_SE_Africa_Downlink_Coverage.png And for subsaharan africa; https://www.eutelsat.com/files/live/sites/eutelsatv2/files/contributed/jahia/satellites/coverage/EUTELSAT_16A_Ku-band_Africa_Downlink_Coverage.png I think the southeast beam covers your location. And by the way, Dstv is currently offering a whole lot of french based channel packages for our francophone brothers. Regards. |
iykmora: grazie dottore olenyi! What if i've unlocked it? Or it can never work, locked or unlocked? Once more oshe!If it has been unlocked, I wouldn't know. But from the complaints of members here, it looks like the 4922 is choosy in term of the modems it accepts. Also you could go for a usb WIFI dongle and use the WIFI hotspot on your android device to connect to the net. Or ''joikuspot'' if you are using a symbian device. Regards. |
Mfumu: Can a mesh Dish grab KU Band signals, I doubt,, or maybe we should conclude that they were temporarily there? What do you mean? ![]() Regards. |

jacob2012: goodmorning sirCheck your wire/cable, make sure its still good and attached to the back of the receiver. And that its not cut along the line. Also remove the Diseqc and connect it direct to see if the quality will come up to 70 and above. If so, then the Diseqc is the culprit. If all these are ok, then replace your lnb. It might be faulty. Regards. |

tayokay: @oleny & pofolo, thanks a lot 4 ur reply. But I'm agigated on d installation of that multi LNB holder; how to use it and likely satellites applicable for. Thanks 4 ur usual lectures on this forum. Regardsthe multi lnb shouldnt be a problem for you. It is moastly for birds that are close together like dstv and multi tv, multi tv and amos/w3c. Just fix it vertically and make one satellite the primary. Then loosen the screw a bit and adjust but vertically and clockwise/anticlockwise to pick the other sat. Then tighten. Regards. |

nicodu: Hi all, please am about buying my first decoder, please kindly advise on which of these decoders i should buy as i really want to get value for my money and too many decoders in the marketSrt 4922A. Regards. |
SULIEMAN3: have you checked if the rf cable is still well connected to the receiver? U can find out this by looking at your signal level if it goes beyond 60 to 70%.@jacob2012. This is the first action to take. Go to your manual scan on your receiver and confirm that the signal quality bar is still hitting up to 70% and above. Try disconnecting the Diseqc and connecting the ku lnb directly to the receiver. Also as you are using a big dish with jack, theirs also a possibility that it could have gone out of its set alignment. Regards. |
Akinige: plZ my gurus in dTry downgrading to your former version or upgrade your receiver with software from another source to see if it takes care of it. Regards. |
tayokay: @olenyi, I saw some multi lnb holder. I really need it. How much is it and where to get it? I stay in ibadan. Regards@tayokay I don't have it and I don't deal on sat accessories. I saw it while doing some research for a member here. And because of its simple but effective design, I figured that one can easily imitate it and construct their own. That was why I shared it. Regards. |
rapthugx: Pls sir Oga Olenyi, will u advice one to use this universal lnb to track Amos 5 C and Ku bands and possibly 16.0°E EutelsatNot advisable. Get separate C-Band and ku lnb's for them. Regards. |
gtstix: Gudday peeps, pls I need your help. I have two satellite dish. One for MyTV, the other for Multi TV. Now I want to add up to 2 or 3 more lnbs to enable me track other satellites for FTA live sports channels. Please how do I go about it? Which satellites do I need to track?
