ebena107: Pls Guru in the house, I want to track Amos 5 on my srt 4940(the decoder had been upgraded to latest firmware), but couldn't find the satellite listed. How can I add it(Amos 5) to the list? Or How will I be able to track it? thanks

Ussals: @all am having an issue with a friend's 4922, its slow in picking what is pressed on remote control, av changed batteries yet no difference, don't know what could be d problem

pboy2buzy: Tanx boss4 ur selfless service........I am usin a 2.4m mesh dish...d jack has never been able 2 bring back my dish effectively frm nss since I bought and fix it...pls how much does a more powerful actuator cost cuz I bought this 3,000naira.........then as 4 d rotatin fault I wil try nd do what u said I shud do dis mornin and gv u feed back

pboy2buzy: Yea....d jack doesn't even roll to mytv position and co,b4 it gets thr it hooks.....I loosen d jack down to confirm...d ressult was that d jact rolls from up to a certain spot(which is not is limit) an then it writes E2.at that pont an attempt to bring it down further (wit remote or hand rollin) wil become futile but it bcomes very stiff wen goin down further.........2ndly I jack finds it very hard to bring d dish back frm nss22' nd ab7' on its own except somebody goes and raise(support) it out side but it stop writin E2 and start movin to east(but it sails well frm east to west but need support wen comin back to east or else it remain stock E2)

Note:am not a novice in jack,and I was d one that fix d jack bfor now nd it was fine until few days ago..d jack is not up to a year.

olenyi: Just try and get a usb wifi dongle/adapter for ur receiver. Then google and download ''joikuspot premium 3.10'' or higher. Include ur phone os (symbian 60v3, v5, anna, belle). Download the ''signed'' version from other websites other than their official web page.

Subscribe for a data plan, Install and run. Switch on ur receiver and connect. Then u can connect with ur receiver to the net.

pboy2buzy: Please my jack has refused to come down to or below 68.5degrees...I disengaged d jack frm my 2.4m dish to check,I can even use my hand to roll d arm of d jack to its lowest point(cuz it becomes very stiff)..but rolin it urward to itz limit isn't any problem....what can I do to tackle diz

gbozy: Please my lg smart tv displays in black and white mode in av mode when connected to the dstv decoder....it only displays colour when connected to a hoMe theatre system nd other external devices. If anyone use an lg smart tv with a dstv decoder should please help me on the connection mode to use...thanks

Please I have never upgraded my srt4669xii since i purchased it back in 2011
Now I have some exciting new channels on amos 5 and Joy tv. but some channels have audio but no video
Please i really need to upgrade my firmware to the latest one
Oga Pofolo asked me to track intelsat and download it Over the air (OTA) but doing that will be taskful since i dont know how to track and my installer lives far.

I visited strong website :http://www.strong-technologies.ae/Products/Details/SRT%204669XII and i saw two .stb files namely

1) SRT 4669XII V302_20121220
2) SRT 4669XII ME v302 20 12 2012

I have successfully downloaded both and i will like to know which one to use for the upgrade. they are both 5.5mb each

Please I will appreciate a favorable response and steps to upgrade

ehisdan: Those dealers are not faithful(not all), i bought 69xii from one @uromi it has breakdown 4tmx on auto downloading & upgrading, which i later learn from dis site to be fake. Its better u send an installer to buy d best one, 4get what dey will gain frm it nd u enjoy it while it last.
