Politics › Re: Why They Wanted Jonathan Out Vs Why They Want Tinubu In by olisaEze(m): 12:49pm On Feb 17, 2024
nairalanda1:
In 1983, a car cost 12000 naira, by 1993, same car cost a million naira..assembled in Nigeria car

I no like tinubu, or Jonathan, but what happened between 2014 and now was simple.

Oil price crashed and our revenue in dollars fell.

Same thing happened between 1983 and 1993.

Now in 1998, one dollar was 21 naira by 2014 one dollar was 140.

Maybe by your own reasoning we should bring back abacha.

The cost of maintaining that 140 naira to one dollar was our foreign currency reserve. And using the excess forex we earned from 2008 to 14 was why our reserves fell and part of why Buhari borrowed and had to borrow.

So, here we are.

Our naira has been falling because we have the wrong kind of economy. A resource dependent economy

And pdp did not fix that and apc and tinubu are not fixing that.

And you guys want to.play games instead of seeing the truth
Not even a Mercedes Benz cost up to half that amount in 1993! You're defending a political party that acknowledged their own destruction of the economy for eight years, make that make sense. In less than a year of his stewardship the country is disintegrating, ECOWAS is disintegrating, the Naira is disintegrating, the middle-class has disintegrated and you're still making lame excuses. If he can't do the job let him leave it for someone else to do instead of telling us how hard it is, no one forced him there naw! cool

Politics › Re: Okonjo Iweala Should Be Invited To Help Nigeria by olisaEze(m): 11:58am On Feb 17, 2024
No one can save you from your electoral foolishness but yourself! This same party under the chairmanship of Oshiomole that verbally attacked & accused her of stealing and being a major part of the problems of the nation in 2015, cannot possible be thinking about going back to lick their vomit. There is no one coming to save Nigeria, so either giddy up and get ready to give this party the Sri Lanka treatment or brace up as another eight years of your life is wasted by incompetence! cool
Crime › Re: Banker Caught By EFCC Selling New Naira Notes To POS Agent by olisaEze(m): 11:41am On Feb 17, 2024
The same way Buhari was harassing and arresting judges in his first term, but left behind a totally corrupt judiciary that sold the hope of a better Nigeria for a bowl of porridge.

Politics › Re: Breaking: Road Blocked, Commuters Stranded As Hungry Nigerians Protest ( Pic ) by olisaEze(m): 3:31pm On Feb 15, 2024
How can one claim to love their country yet vote for a candidate whose values do not align with theirs?

They love the country yet supported someone they wouldn’t hire to manage their businesses. Make it make sense. huh

They are “patriots” yet voted for someone who has never exhibited one patriotic or selfless act towards the country, e.g giving up his pension/gratuity to free up public funds so it can be channeled to those who REALLY need it.

They wish the country well yet chose someone who didn’t respect them enough to speak with them during the campaigns to enumerate his plans over someone that used his own money to fly to Egypt to understand how their power supply works uninterruptedly. Did he promise anything?

Supporting APC/Buhari in 2015 without a manifesto was understandable/forgivable. Supporting them in 2019 without a manifesto was inexcusable, but to support them AGAIN in 2023 especially with the quality/qualifications of their flag bearer? You don’t deserve anyone’s pity. Halfway to teaching Obi & the Igbos a bitter lesson you don dey cry? You go cry blood!

Politics › Re: Is Wole Soyinka Still Calling Obi Supporters Fascists? by olisaEze(m):
Melagros:
COMRADES, Soyinka is mute on this government because of the huge amount of kickbacks that he's receiving from his brother tinubu.
Op incase you don't know yorubas are most sentimental ethnicity we have in Nigeria. Current study proves that
The Yorubas gave Obi more votes than the South East, if not the BAT would not have lost the PU in front of his house at Bourdillon to LP. The leadership of the sociocultural arm of the Yorubas, Afenifere, gave him more support than the double-mouthed Ohaneze ndigbo, despite the backlash against them from the CORNfused ones. Two of Obi’s successors were used against him. One was ranting nonstop until he was bounced away from the VVIP section during the presidential inauguration. You’re pointing a finger at others when the other four have you locked in their sight, dey play!😂

I don’t care if you’re looking for traffic or engagements, but it can never be well with you. Imagine you’re one of the victims bereaved kids, currently confused with all this, stumbling on to this headline. Your upbringing is evidenced by your lack of respect for both the living & the dead. cool

APC has destroyed this country kpata-kpata! Nigerians who still don’t see the abyss they’re dancing blindly into by supporting incompetence should ask themselves why oil companies that have been here since before independence are all suddenly running from a supposedly oil rich nation?

History is quite interesting when you explore its recesses with an open mind. If you stand in one spot long enough the world will revolve right back to you in time, there’s no such thing as coincidences. Osazuwa found this out, the SWners dragging supremacy with the Oba have also found this out now. Who pass you pass you, Edo is really not Lagos! grin
