Dem never even grind beans the moi-moi don dey smell! Be ye not deceived, these ones are not wailing for the Nigerian economy, but their own exclusion from the center! Why did they not ask their Niger loving brother to call on Okonjo-iweala during his own eight years? Abeg all of them shud goan sit down!! grin
Politics › Re: Leave Amaechi Alone, He Is Not The Problem Of Nigeria–APC Chieftain Tells Tinubu by olisaEze(m): 8:58am On Dec 11, 2023
When did this man hear Amaechi's name in Tinubu's mouth?? The president has many more serious matters on his table and does not have the time to mediate on two over-inflated egos bickering about power sharing.
Politics › Re: FRANK Kokori Who Fought Abacha To A Standstill Using NUPENG, Neglected, Dies Unc by olisaEze(m):
Frank Kokori spent four years in the gulag under the supervision of the dreaded pipe smoking Col. Frank Omenka, Abacha's chief torturer, for leading an arm of the Labour Union on the longest strike in the country, in protest of the June 12 annulment. Not to be confused with the Kokori of Hotel De Jordan fame, this Chief Frank Kokori shed his life blood for the same democracy which Nigerians so freely & shamelessly sell to the highest bidder nowadays. Anyone that fought the military for democracy in the 90s cannot recommend that you hate your fellow countrymen based on ethnic affiliations. Rest in peace my hero, your efforts shall never be forgotten!

Crime › Re: Anambra Man Accused Of Killing His Mother & Sister & Burying Them In Enugu by olisaEze(m):
Even as people advice others to take better care of their health, very few give a thought to the person's mental health. We just assume that everyone we meet in public is as sane as the rest. But every drug addict is a walking, ticking time bomb to family & friends. They start off cool & funny in the beginning, and end up a live wire tossed into a swimming pool. Everyone nearby must collect! Whether e good for your head or e no good for your head, don't do drugs make you no go sample ekwe on a loved one like this here crack fiend. No matter how Canadian high you get, you still can never be the most high! cool

Politics › Re: David Hundeyin Exposes Phantom Dangote Refinery by olisaEze(m):
Rather than critiquing with facts fools will attack the messenger to avoid asking themselves why the refinery launch date keeps getting pushed forward as David initially said it would be before the elections. One man playing the role of the fourth estate and another playing the role of the opposition, that's all that stands between a nation of morons and their beloved oppressors. The gates of hell are desperate to prevail and fools think joining the winning squad will change their circumstances even as things keep getting harder for them! Foolishness abounds in the heart of children and Nigerians. Unfortunately the rod of correction, no matter how brutally used by their oppressors, cannot give Nigerians basic human sense! grin
Politics › Re: Rhoda Jatau Regains Freedom From Bauchi Prison by olisaEze(m): 9:25am On Dec 09, 2023
Her fundamental human rights were infringed on for 18 months without trial for sharing the truth! A nation that hates the truth cannot believe in justice. And without justice we're no better than animals in human skin! cool
Politics › Re: Peter Obi Compares Nigeria’s Budget, Poverty Rate With China’s. Is He Correct? by olisaEze(m):
I expect Obi to sustain his Party's role of opposition till the next polls. He seems to be doing a good job of keeping Nigerians abreast of how much better governance can be, if their selected leaders really want to work for them. A comparison of our budget is a perfect example of how Nigeria cannot afford further waste of resources on frivolities. For instance, out of the N1.3trillion budgeted for infrastructure in 2024, N25 billion has already been allocated to just two individuals who are nowhere close to homelessness! When you extrapolate that to every other elected/appointed official, you just might discover that almost a quarter of that budget is meant to service the ruling class! In which sane world is that okay?? undecided

Politics › Re: Corrupt Nigerian Cops Caught On Tape Asking For Money From Foreign Female Biker by olisaEze(m):
This video describes without a narrative the sorry state of security in Nigeria. As appalling as this is, it also shows the mentality of the average man when interacting with foreigners in Nigeria. Anyone with a hint of abroad on their skin is immediately seen as a mark for easy cash. And if nothing comes out, the person is tagged stingy/wicked! In a beggar nation everyone is a beggar! There is nothing wrong with our land, there is nothing wrong with the air in Nigeria, but there is everything wrong with our choices as a people. How can the body be okay when it has chosen the anus to be it's head! grin
Politics › Re: APGA To Ubah: A Man Who Couldn't Manage Private Business Can't Rescue Anambra by olisaEze(m): 10:12am On Dec 06, 2023
The Nigerian political terrain is awash with politicians who have virtually failed at everything else in life but crime, so Mr Ubah is not looking to join the looting class on the strength of his business acumen! He doesn't even need the highest number of votes to win anymore. With only I-nec & the courts in a sizable portion of his wallet, he's good to go! cool

Ala nwanyi Asaba cannot possibly be as sweet as the wasteful comedy production governance in Nigeria has become under the APC! The president has no control over his own cabinet, as govt officials keep rubbing their continued wastage of the country's resources in the faces of the suffering masses! No govt official under OBJ would dare be this stupid and expect to keep his position after. But for this party, expect to hear some @$$wipe defend this international embarrassment to the Nigerian people who are already too weak from hunger to argue back! grin

I never said I supported it. I finished it by stating that is the reality. War never, ever, ever works out the way we like. There will always be war crimes.

It was that method that the Angolan government used to crush Jonas Savimbi. The same with the Sri Lankan army against 5he Tamil Tigers. The Syeian government with air assistant from Russia merciless bombed Aleppo to push out the rebels there.
I get ur gist now. Sounds cold though, but it's a harsh reality no govt should be allowed to be comfortable with.

You should direct your question at him.
And here you were already abusing others to defend his motives like you actually had an idea! Nigerians were murdered like chickens under the govt he served while he chopped his turn. From Pa Fasoranti's daughter to Deborah Samuels to the Middle-Belt pogroms. I bet if you check the collateral damage under his principal's COAS, Buratai, the figure will definitely triple the number of terrorists he killed! If he had been given an appointment by this administration, do you think he would be speaking this 'truth' now? I don't know why Nigerians let themselves be moved by cheap words when the actions of the speaker tell a different story! undecided

joseph1832:
which opposition?

I wonder why many of you can't seem to get your head outta your ass. Speaking the truth now translate to Bashir Ahmad joining the opposition?

What the military did was appalling, the fact they didn't make any attempt to reach out to the community and make amends is even more appalling and distasteful.

Bashir Ahmad calling out the military is the right thing to do, it doesn't necessarily mean he has joined the opposition.
Where was this his sense of right/wrong when it happened under the previous administration he served in??

Why do many of you make such insane comments! This isn't the first time fighter jets have been used to attack bandits. There has been at least 2 other occasions.

The problem is that the firepower of these fighter jets is simply too much and is unaporopriate to be used in situations such as these.

To deal with bandits or better still, marauder bands as this are what these criminals really are, special forces will be the best.

This will heavily reduce the risk of collateral damage. Also, these bandits tend to have hostages they hold to discourage attacks from government forces.

If Nigeria was like some countries, if carpetbombing entire villages and settlements would mean an end to the bandits, all well and good.

I am just letting you know the reality
Were you high on opioids when you wrote dis??

Oga, you're causing a serious international diplomatic embarrassment to Nigeria by attacking another sovereign nation because of the Bakassi oil fields! If Biafra failed the first time because Nigeria couldn't afford to lose the oil rich South-South region, what do you think France would do to you?? Them go soon catch this ekpa of an Ekpa like bush rat! grin
