compared to Joaquin Phoenix.. Yes. Bradley Cooper isn't entirely a bad actor, I enjoyed him in American sniper and I wanted him to get the Oscar for A Star Is Born. But he can't hold a candle next to Phoenix in terms of acting.

it's not a great film. Florence Pugh was good but not award worthy. The trailer is way more interesting than the movie itself. It didn't scare me one bit. I loved the costumes, cinematography, production design and score. But I didn't like the film

he does care o. He was ranting because of the constant Oscar snub around that era. Gary Oldman said the same thing and years later, he was everywhere campaigning and receiving career achievement awards (that's what his win is considered to be) everywhere. Phoenix is an actor's actor like you said but I don't think it should matter if he plays a comic book character or not so long as the performance is strong. He just win it already. It pains me that we live in a World where Phoenix has just one Oscar nomination while the much inferior Bradley Cooper is on his 4th acting nomination already.

He really was amazing in The Master but the movie is a slogfest though I am a fan of its director Paul Thomas Anderson who also directed the confusing Inherent Vice another movie 'wakin' starred in.Her is my best movie of his.Though I also like Walk the Line and You Were Never Really Here-a movie 2x more violent than the Joker will ever be.

Endgame may win an Oscar, but I bet you RDJ will not win an Oscar for his performance in Endgame. There's nothing so spectacular about his acting in the movie. He's not the first major character to die in a movie. I don't get the buzz about his performance in the movie.

RDJ may not even be nominated. He's only getting hype because the Oscars are seeking relevance through ratings and so, pundits now want every huge star to be nominated no matter the performance. If RDJ, Scarjo, Adam Driver and Endgame gets nominated, the ratings would be high. I won't be surprised if he's nominated cos it's a very weak year


Anyway, the only possible award Endgame would get is best visual effects.

So what should we do now? Open a GOFUNDME for him so he can get to the level of Wizkid?
