However, on Friday they (Nairobi office) returned "Application is in queue for processing...." even though eligibility have started since early July n updated on portal early August.

Izzit that wen they touch application drop, to pick up back, e wee enter queue again? This teen iz confuxin and unsettling

7COLOURS:
Good morning everyone

15th August another mail states it is in queue for processing.

Pls find attached the two mails received and kindly help interpret.

Your inputs will be appreciated

Thanks.

TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by olokings(m):
Please someone with advice.

I mailed IRCC and they returned a feedback that "your application is on queue for processing, and will be processed according to receipt date". Even though my portal shows eligibility review ongoing since Aug 2nd.

What kinda queue is this again?
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by olokings(m): 12:07pm On Aug 17, 2022
i liked the quote

HouseRavenclaw:
It's not a discouragement to give out facts. Older people rarely get Canadian study permits and it's even worse for those aspiring to undergraduate studies. The approval rate is appalling. You can bank on faith however much you want, but the reality has to be spelt out for those who want the cold facts. Cheers.

Unless @Bicceryor have the complete screenshot showing her name, UCI, App No. and biometrics, I still have huge doubts.

One can screen shot that portion and of the page without validating the owner at anytime.

Please conduct due diligence to confirm an application was submitted on your behalf

Gigdraft:
Hello Bucceryor,

The screenshot in question is more of a dashboard. It is an interface that updates you on the status of your application.

From the screenshot, I could denote the application was submitted and it is in progress.

Can't wait to celebrate with you!

To Whom It May Concern,

This crappy banter ain't amusing anymore.
Please take this to the street, and leave the thread for us to have / read productive engagements.

I can't carry IRCC anticipation to cic, email, and then come to NL to read crap!

No more of this!!! Haaaa
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by olokings(m): 8:50pm On Aug 08, 2022
Same ol, same ol.
"We are reviewing your application".

Dropping one webform, and email once once twice a week as reminder make them no forget local man case.

Even if you have a ton of other things to do, this one will still creep into your mind to check CIC, email, and NL like sleep during sermon / lecture.

2pretty4u:
Thanks for asking, how far with yours?
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by olokings(m): 12:48pm On Aug 08, 2022
Hellos, how far with your ongoing active review?
These people are taking their jolly good time with eligibility though, over a month....
On top school that will resume in less than 4 weeks. How are you going to just up an leave with family in such a short time after approval?

2pretty4u:
Congratulations
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by olokings(m): 10:50am On Aug 07, 2022
I think securing admission is quite clear cut as long as you meet the requirements.

So whatever insights you have, throw it open right here on the thread. Don't channel people to a private DM if you're really keen on giving back or supporting the community.

Good luck to your partner's visa venture.

Last lap of the race have commenced.

Fingers crossed for final decision for me and my family!!!!

JustMellow:
Hello Ysth,

Not all applications to study in the Atlantic province are rejected. But, the visa chances with admissions from Atlantic institutions, particularly colleges, are (extremely) lower than those in Ontario.

TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 22 by olokings(m): 12:18pm On Aug 01, 2022
that is a great idea.
i did exactly that, however, my GCMS notes were delayed. it has been overdue for 23 days now. hope it arives when it clocks 60 days processing time by Aug. 08.

Visa Application have already passed the 12 weeks processing time.
fingers crossed.

Thomsyne:
If I were you, just like I plan to do, once my application is about 5 weeks, I'd order GCMS notes. From what I have noticed, the notes will contain the status of your application at the time it is sent to you. That way, your mind will be set on the notes - away from the application itself, and surely once the two months are up, the next couple of days/weeks will be set on PPR.

Wish us all good luck.

Shalom.

Have your eligibility started in ur GCKey portal?

It will end in praise.

Mine is also for family of 5. The Lord's mercy will favour us.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by olokings(m): 12:29pm On Jul 23, 2022
You re at the front of the line so.

This long wait for IRCC really comes with a lot of opportunity costs.

As long as it ends with a positive note, it's worth it.

My application is for family x5. GCMS notes delayed (48 days going now). I hope this process ends sooner than later.

2pretty4u:
I also got a response to a mail I sent in June but it said my application is under active review. I wonder what it means.
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by olokings(m): 12:01pm On Jul 23, 2022
Omo....
See talk..
They've been replying all the webform sent since May 2022 one by each. I think they're now in June 21st. Replies are the same message though. Some days under review (from Nairobi office) while others says we're still processing (from IRCC).

Application have clocked 12 weeks

Omnisavage:
See Nairobi 's response to email I sent since June 27th, they said "kindly note that this application is in queue for processing, and will be processed according to the receipt date.". I applied on May 17th o, they said according to receipt date, yet people that applied after me have been processed. I no just understand again.

Gurus please advise.

My application clocked 12 weeks today, and I sent webforms x2 and emails x2 to Nairobi.

Replies I'm getting are auto from old webform raised since June.

Is this a sign they're opening my case file?
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by olokings(m): 2:54pm On Jul 20, 2022

TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by olokings(m): 10:13pm On Jul 19, 2022
Hellos Anon,

I got similar reply from MP for my family x5 on the 10th July. Application was submitted 30th April.

Was initially firing routing mails n web forms until last week Thursday I paused to allow the 12 weeks elapse on the 22nd July.

Although they've been replying all the old web forms of since May n June one by one notifying that application is still under process.

My question is why do you think there may be documents gap with Onwekes submission? Perhaps same might apply to me?

PS: I applied for my GCMS notes since May 30th, it was due July 4th but its been delayed. Yet to arrive as of now.

Thanks

Anon123:
Tell your friend the bolded means that the application is currently on eligibility review.

I would recommend he applied for a gcms note to help him know what might be missing or was omitted by the visa officer before a decision is made

Hello JOgjogo
Please when you say "wrote them.." who did you write?
jogojogo:
Have you gotten your GCMS notes?
If not, write them.
The last time I applied for GCMS note, after 31 days I didnn't get response.
The response dropped 5 minutes after I wrote them quoting my ticket/reference ID
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by olokings(m): 11:06pm On Jul 12, 2022
Hellos KRTL,

It came directly from IRCC signed by an agent (visa officer)

KRTL:
Is the mail from any of the offices or direct from IRCC?
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by olokings(m): 10:26pm On Jul 12, 2022
@Predator and other Gurus,

Please your insight again ooh.

I got an email from IRCC this evening requesting for the routine application info (Full name, DOB, UCI, APP No., etc.) and All documents submitted with your previous request.

What does this mean please? Although i have sent them all the documents earlier submitted with my visa application again though.... *biting my fingers*

The Eligibility has started..
TravelRe: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 21 by olokings(m): 5:44pm On Jul 12, 2022
Hello @Predator,

This (attached photo) is precisely the feedback the MP's office returned.

So does it mean, eligibility review is yet to commence, rather they are still on application completeness check?

Predator188:
I think in that case , the review of documents of the report from MP , they are checking your application to make sure all the necessary documents is received before the application eligibility review starts...the application is going through completeness check...

If all the required documents and information is complete...
see status enquiry for (study visa) application screenshot from ircc webform below... with statement stating this..."at this time all the required documents and information has been received by the responsible office"

Gurus please an insight on this will really help.

IRCC reported to an MP I contacted that my n family applications are on "we are reviewing documents to see if meet eligibility".

However, I've been checking Portal till now, eligibility review update haven't shown yet.

Do I follow up n Nairobi office with email or wait it out.

Application is 10 weeks today.

PS: applied for gcmsnotes but its been delayed after 30 days yet to come out.

olokings:
Hello gurus,
So I received a feedback from an MP on my family application.

Report stated that eligibility is ongoing for each and all of our applications. Although, it didn't state when eligibility started.

I have been sending emails 4 times weekly for the past one month.

Should I continue with bombarding Nairobi offic3 with mails, or should I pause band wait for their response?

Application is 10 weeks now (April 30th 2022).

Gurus pls advise on if to continue firing emails or not.

Thanka

New Brunswick.
I just selected all the Liberal MPs and email then one after the other.
Only one, responded positively. The others requested me to eitherprovided a community residence, or wait until application exceed processing time of 12 weeks.
