Thank you so much for the feedback. I tried that a couple of times although it logs me into my old BSc account which I rounded up in Feb.2020. Probably because I operate the same email address for my new mat number. I sent an email to the elearn hotel they'll give me a solution although I'd appreciate if you can give me a stop gap approach since I'm looking to submit my seminar urgently. Many thanks. Hello,
Please i need advice to apply TRV for my kids.
1. Do i need to open a new cic account for each of them or i can apply for both of them from my own cic account? (note i already have a valid visa issued this year before the covid-19 pandemic) 2. Will they require biometrics or are they exempted given they are below 10 years of age?
I need direction. |

Stop patronising him. I'm very sure you want to get on his list of #hugefan so that he'd attend to you promptly when you need it. That's not bad but you don't have to insult someone to drive home your fact/aim! Even @Ribasandez never insulted him. None is obligated to respond to a request. The if and when is a matter of choice and convenience. Quite a demonstration of HIGH reasoning. wableo: Bros please forget the idiot. I read your explanation and is quite straightforward. Some people have low reasoning. |

Hollas. My focus was you stating your ideas for academic excellence isn't for free (unless I misunderstood you). The whole discourse about majority of NOUN students being unserious and lazy is unargable, I totally agree with that. I just feel, your ROADMAP to academic excellence isn't for sale as such things cannot have price tags placed on them (you know that gist, "thre best things in life are free"?). You could litter a field with a thousand seeds and only one gets to grow into a full fruitful tree. Such is life. Please don't relent to give back to society. As for your materials by all means you're within your rights to profit off them but basic ideas you may kindly consider putting it out there so that a potential like yourself may ride it to success. I hope you consider this. Thumbs Ribasandez: I tried to figure out what you just said, but I'm still lost. I don't understand what your point is. |

Imagine, if #Nairaland charges you for your posts whether they're advertisement or not. Or yet, they charge the people who provide the resources which proved useful to us all. Just think about it. IMO Ribasandez: Okay, so I'm officially making nouneco available. However, you need a password to gain access to the site. To get the password, you need to message the Administrator via his email, making a request And you have to follow nouneco on Facebook or Twitter.
It's not compulsory (either way, I'm perfectly alright. Too many great stuffs happening in my life already). I'm not giving my ideas out freely anyway. To gain free access to my quizzes,...
The website (for now) is nouneco.. Any further updates will be made via Facebook and Twitter.
Thank you |

that is only on the condition that you write the course before graduation. if it is an elective or otherwise, and you graduate with the NI amongst your result schedule, it will most definitely be computed in your GP. it was in my case. Bekind33: i heard from a reliable source that incomplete result are ommited during CCGP computation, he told me incomplete result doesnt count. |

Education › Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by olokings(m): 5:23am On Feb 17, 2020 |
NOUN uses the FULL result to calculate your CGPA, incomplete results n all. I read somewhere earlier that if you abandon an exam to rather get I(NE/NT) rather than F it doesn't affect your CGPA. Well, it looks like it does after affect it because at final calculation, any I(NE/NT) in the result is calculated. Bekind33: i did not understand what you just wrote |
Education › Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by olokings(m): 5:52pm On Feb 16, 2020 |
Greetings @All.
Please note that as of date, NOUN computes your CGPA factoring ALL Credit units carried including INCOMPLETE results and DUPLICATEDcourses.
In other words, if you meet graduation requirements and you have incomplete Elective courses or otherwise, the TOTAL credit load CARRIED will be computed against your credit earned.

Thanks for the response. So here is my case, I got admitted in 2016_2 (Direct Entry). Did all GSTs including GST107. however, in 2018 while in my 400L apparently GST204 was introduced. I had already passed the level and didnt register it as i had no outstanding courses on 200L hence i wasnt even looking at the semester since i checked for completeness in my 300L. Fastfoward to 2019_1 after the exams in July 2019. graduation list came out and my name was not on the list. Crosschecking my courses against registrable course, i had register all core + electives you can find on the list from 200L - 400L. i didnt know why i was ommitted. inquiry from the study center stated that i must do alll 100L GST courses 101 - 105. all of them!!! Till date i still have not gotten any concrete feed back from a responsible person on why the omission was the case. just heresays and speculations What is your opinion? Yem0350: You must do all GSTs in 200 and 300 with GST107 (because it is compulsory for all new students) |

Greetings,
a quick question / clarification.
For a six (6) semester / Direct Entry structure study, must I do all the GST courses 200L, 300L and 100L. Considering that i have already done GST107 (Study guide for the distant learner). Are the rest GST 101, 102, 104, 105 etc compulsory to meet graduation requirements?

Greetings @Misha Please for those of us who finished with the 2019_1 semester concluded in July 2019, when are we supposed to expected graduation list and commence our clearance processes to collect statement of result? Samisha500: WHY SOME STUDENTS DONT GRADUATE
If you are among students who started NOUN in 2017. Its mandatory you register the newly introduced GST courses like GST204, to avoid delay in graduation. If its 1 course that is left for you to do and you decide to omit it, you would have to pay an extra 18000 naira compulsory extra semester fee just to register one course. That's how it works. So, learn from other students who have made such mistake.
No waiver for core courses like GST. The opportunity is now. Some students who ought to have seen thier names in the last graduation list, did not see thier names and could not graduate with others, because of omitted hidden courses. Now, they have paid 18000 naira compulsory portal fee just to register 1 course. And would have to wait till next year again to graduate formally. they complain of not seeing their name on the graduation list whenever it comes out.
That's why you hear some people accuse NOUN VC of not graduating students when they are due, some students even dump the programme totally and run to Lasu and university of Ibadan ODL. Therefore, run a check on your result every semester multiple times to be really sure.
If you have forgotten when you started, check your matric number
Nou15 is 2015, nou16 is 2016, Nou17 is 2017, nou18 is 2018 and so on. Backdated matric number is Nou14. They are excluded from new GST like 204.
