How do you communicate in UK? I think you may need to address this, as this may possibly be the reason for your "assumed racist" views.

Deal with your poor communication issue, and then come back to discuss your current topic

The black lady should leave there before either of them commits murder. Let her get another job. This one right here is slavery.[/quote]

Am not sure you fully understand this. The old lady has old age mental issues, not fully ware of her actions. How do u argue with a patient with diminished mental capacity?
Career / Re: Should I Continue With My Bank Cleaner Job Or Work In The Filling Station by Oloks(m): 2:44pm On Feb 07, 2022
Hi

Short-run station job will provide u both legit and illegit cash, but u are stuck in a menial job, not transferable skills gained here.
Short-run Bank Cleaner, not much money salary is fixed. Hang in here, develop your qualifications in a better environment and your external training while doing this can always be relevant in this environment

Long run with perseverance, u will prevail in the bank job, Obtain relevant training, put your head down and focus...the petrol station work will give u short-run cash with no future to rise. All it will make u a semi-illiterate with a bit of cash and stuck where u are

President Buhari has over the years proven to be the peoples general. He has always had the interest of the common man at heart reason why he's the most powerful politician in today's Nigeria.
Very soon the whole country will appreciate him for all he has done for us. See how speedily policies are been made for the betterment of all. God bless you Daddy

God bless Nigeria.

It is sad that we have been oppressed so much as Nigerians, and when crumbs are thrown at us we will be so grateful. Buhari is serving Nigerians and he is doing his neglected duty, why hailing someone that has been failing as a leader. Until we change our attitude to "crumbs" we will still be treated as slaves.

U do not have to be grateful for what is yours...this post makes no sense.

As much as Nigeria is a messed up country, it is a sovereign Nation. No stupid embassy should be involved in the internal affairs of us. US Embassy is a guest of Nigeria, hence they should keep their feelings to themselves. Pls go solve your imposed demi-god Trump.

Nairaland / General / Donald Trump Says He Plans To End 'ridiculous' Birthright Citizenship by Oloks(m): 9:23am On Aug 22, 2019
Donald Trump said Wednesday he is considering issuing an executive order to get rid of the longstanding measure that guarantees citizenship to those born within the borders of the U.S.

'We're looking at that very seriously,' Trump told reporters before departing the White House to speak to veterans in Kentucky.

It was part of a free-wheeling question-and-answer session on the South Lawn which also saw him blast the prime minister of Denmark as 'nasty' for calling his offer to buy Greenland 'absurd'; proclaim himself 'the chosen one' as he boasted about his China trade war; appear to ditch tax cuts and embrace background checks on guns having done the opposite the day before; and accuse Barack Obama of being 'outsmarted' by Vladimir Putin when the Russian strongman seized Crimea.

The attempt to tackle birthright citizenship - or 'anchor babies' - came as his acting Homeland Security secretary said he would publish a new role on Friday to allow illegal immigrant children to be indefinitely detained, and it was reported by NBC News that states or cities will be allowed to refuse to resettle refugees there.

The president said the current understanding of the constitution - that virtually every child born in the U.S. or its territories is automatically a citizen - is 'ridiculous' because non-citizens are able to cross over the border just to have children that could then be deemed U.S. citizens.

'Birthright citizenship – where you have a baby in our land,' Trump explained. 'You walk over the border, have a baby, congratulations – the baby is now a U.S. citizens. We're looking at it very, very seriously.'

Trump appeared surprised that a reporter was aware that he was re-upping consideration of signing an executive order on birthright citizenship, a scheme which had been talked about last year.

'I don't know how you found that out, but that's very good,' Trump praised. 'We're looking at birthright citizenship very seriously. It's frankly ridiculous.'

ngoxievergreen:

The donkey is a multi-purpose animal, able to carry out a wide variety of tasks under very limited circumstances. Donkeys are fast learners, surprisingly strong (they can carry loads about half their body weight), resistant to many diseases, have a long working life, require little water, and are easy to manage. Most importantly to many animal owners in developing countries, donkeys are much cheaper to purchase than oxen, horses and other animals used for working purposes. Further, donkeys are able to withstand heat and dry conditions, but find difficulty with cold and wet climates, making clear their relevance to developing nations.

While traditional agricultural practices in the global South have changed considerably as a result of modernization and globalization, donkeys still play a central role in providing for the livelihoods of many small-scale farmers. Their roles differ from country to country and farm to farm, but in general, donkeys help increase farmers’ productive potential and positively contribute to their well-being.

The world is moving forward, deploying Tech & AI into agriculture, but we have decided to move backward and praise our stupidity

Anybody that takes the Lagos state government serious needs to have his brain removed and replaced with noodles. I was at Igando area the other day and it was nothing but utter mess. Moved further to alakija and navy town axis , I couldn't bear the stench I had to seek solace in a nearby shop just to breathe fresh oxygen. Lagos is nothing compared to anambra and abia. The only difference is that it is cosmopolitan and over populated.

Very subjective view and comment. You do have a chance to move back to Anambra & Abia for fresh oxygen.

With changes in tech, some jobs will no longer be required in the new world, so if the hawkers gets displaced with these changes, though sad, but they will have to retrain

A country will always choose the government it deserves.

Until Nigerians wake up, and be frank to ourselves, we will continue having these jokers in government.

When we are tired, we will get them out..!!!!

Politics / Re: Lagos-badagry Expressway To Be Closed On Sunday by Oloks(m): 11:45am On Oct 11, 2013
Originalsly: Nonsense. Name me another country where a contractor would be allowed to shut down an expressway to do anything....even to resurface the expressway. Now this one is shutting it down to install beams? How was it done before? Why didn't they build a detour/temporary road for traffic to get around that location? How can the authorities allow this? Would they even think aboit doing that in China? This just makes one think what are the terms of their contract. This is a slap in the face of all Nigerians. But after all...I don't blame them...I blame the ones that allow them to do that and disrespect Nigerians in Nigeria.

Road closures are done so often on UK Motorways and you get diverted to other routes. This has nothing to do with terms of contract or slap. It is just for the safety of the public and workers.

Please see link below as an example.
