Am not sure how much you plan on selling but 6 for 300 is an excellent price
My thought also. Road side sellers/hawkers here are selling @N50 per one, they will still buy charcoal/firewood for processing it. I wonder how those that will retail from her will make profit except they retail @N100.

So today we mix a yellow herbicide with a green one to get a super herbicide.. Lagon prevents weed growth while paracot kills already growing weed..

From testimonials I must say am quite excited to be using Lagon this season, have seen fields where till harvest the farm was still weed free due to the efficacy of Lagon.

A little bit of advise, spray Lagon on a moist soil, also after spraying to walking, working etc on the field for atleast 3 days, the chemical forms Lik a carpet over the field so walking on it reduces it's efficacy.. 50ml for maize per 16L knapsack sprayer 100ml for casava or very rich soil
Nice job u are doing here op. What is the mixing ratio of the 2 herbicides u mixed together?
I guess u planted corn first and spray immediately, When are u intercropping the cassava?

I sold a rubber basket equivalent to this crate 18k yesterday. See the way market women were begging for 15k I nor gree and I also condition them to come to the farm that am not taking it to them. They all rushed down to buy.
I always love this season of tomatoes
LoL... serious inflation at work! it was not like this this time last year. Banditry/kidnapping has seriously reduced supply from the north.
Same way my people visited the site of our last year pepper farm. The few stands that survived from cattle grazing were fruiting massively...i was shocked when they were telling me they were selling @2k per small painter rubber to street vendors. Same rubber they may price below N200 during glut.

Do you have okra seeds abundantly available now, King ?

Out of stock sire. We really made more than enough quantity that we thought would cover the whole year's demand but the demand was overwhelming. We may not be restocking soon due to our busy schedule.

Pls which months do you have glut in the South-West and which months do we have relative scarcity of Okra? Plus what is the current estimated price per bag or basket in the Southwest.

From mid Dec to May, okra is scarce. I don't have the idea of the current price for now.

I thought premier seeds only do maize seeds? cool
The Rambo F1 is one to watch as it's has all the checked points; bw resistance, large size tomato above 150g angry , and should be classed in the category of the Sakata Martyna F1.
East west, Technisem and co are still behind in tomato due to its small size.
I used to see their repackaged old school opv tom and cucumber seeds.

Regarding tom sizes, most southern farmers prefer a medium size tom for staking convinience. Bigger sizes can break stakes or even break its own stems during strong wind. Unlike those of you in the central and far north where little or no staking is required.

Yep it's lovely cultivar, can't wait to compare it with cobra 26 that's already fruiting too
A beg do. Cobra too is another excellent cultivar. Seems both have similar disease resistance catalogue.
I learnt the Rambo F1 is a Kenyan product, when will our own research institutes wake up? The only thing our own Premier Seed does is to be rebranding and repackaging UC, Roma, marketers and marketmore up and down.

Fungicide is z force.... Its suppose to be 60g to 16l water..... The plant are just 2 weeks old.....
Do i apply it like that or reduce the strength of the fungicide to maybe 1/2

Z-force is not the best choice for veggies in this heavy/continous downpour period, use more of systemic or those with both contact and systemic effect.

it all depends on the zone of the country, I am in the south south, and I have not had cause to irrigate except at the period of transplanting, drips are excellent, but sometimes life happens! My drips are lying waste due to circumstances beyond my control. As for Supergrow, it's a waste of funds for me personally, good old manure heaps serve the purpose of increasing organic matter and water retention, and also supplying micronutrients
Nice fruit shape you have there bro. What cultivar is this?

Any idea please
your question has already bn answered by the label nauh. I guess you are shocked that a whole N2.5k wl just go for almost 1 load of sprayer. Since your farm is in acre, you could have tried to get the 1 litre pack, it's more economical than d 200ml, around 8k i think.
As for your nursery, why applying treatment at the point of transplanting? You could have done than that earlier, save your fungicide for the main field. 20 day old tom is old enough for transplanting if you get ur nursery right. I normally transplant btw 21 to 25days.

Please what's the best pre and post emergence herbicide for Cassava Farm?

Use force-uron, if u intercrop with maize use xtra force. Both are pre emergent and early post emg, they are also selective.

@oluchidelly

Please i planted my maize recently and I am lucky it raining here a bit. I am hoping to dry sell. Pls my problem is one how best do u advise i go about it to maximize my profits? A comrades said one can derived a huge profit if one go about it the right way, which is the right way? cus this is my first time dry selling. How do you all make profit from fresh selling is it per sack? 50kg or pieces? Pls i need your advice. 09097524169.

The size and location of your farm may help shelding more light.
If u are producing in large scale, say above 2 acre, it's better to dry(using dryer since ur harvest wl fall in the midst of raining season), shell and bag(100kg) for sale.
For a smaller farm, u can just harvest dry, bag unshelled and move them to ur local markets for sale, U need to locate those that buy. Not all markets buy unshelled maize, dry corn harvested during raining season are not good for storage. To avoid the stress and cost that go with using a drying machine, plant late maize by Aug/early Sept. If you are doing mono cropping, you can still plant late maize on that same land.
