MJBOLT:You’re right. Some of us have already encountered the enlightenment. I’m currently writing a book on the subject of religion being a scam using the example of the true to life story of a religious leader. Sadly whilst Europeans have woken up to this reality, Africans in particular are continuously blindfolded. Imagine the Church is alive in Europe thanks to African migrants, in the main. |
Brunosamel: Except you are in the yahoo yahoo business, you couldn’t have recently graduated and be at the peak of your career. In fact, you haven’t started. Why are you going crazy on 6 months relationships? Get a life. |
OyinO:Don’t mind those indoctrinated folks. If God never changes as s/he is immutable, how can he be affected by prayers and praise. |
The Spanish legal system and policing is completely different, bordering on lack utter transparency and procedural complications. Anyone remember the case of the missing girl, Madeleine McCain? The poor and unprofessional fashion in which the investigating team dealt with the matter meant that mystery became almost impossible to solve, even with 5h3 interventions of the a London Met. |

I hope the death penalty is still entrenched in the Nigerian penal code. The guy should be tried and if found guilty sent to the gallows to face the hangman. |
FEGNO:Servicing Arab clients. Most of these girls are high class escorts in Dubai sucking joy sticks and swallowing natural Arab milk/juice. |
Daytime Actress, Night time high class escorts. Punan1 has no mileage. |
Kudos to the young man teaching his kids his native language. It’s a shame many Nigerians, born on the Nigerian soil claim inability to speak their native languages. Sadly, for many of them, their written and spoken English is woeful, which is tantamount to double jeopardy. |

In the Book of Genesis Abram used deception at least on two separate occasions, vis-à-vis, in Egypt during his encounter with Pharaoh and his men (Genesis 12:10-20), and in Gerar when he encountered Abimelech, the King of Gerar (Genesis 20:1-18). In both cases, Abram deployed deception with a view to averting potential threats to his life. Quite clearly, Sarah was Abram’s half-sister. Nonetheless, the reality was she was also his wife. The half-truth to be declared when Abram was asked to reveal Sarah’s identity was to go down the route of “she’s my sister.” Conversely, the whole truth was “she’s my wife.” Opting for the former ostensibly prevented Abram from being killed ("There is surely no fear of God in this place, and they will kill me because of my wife" . One could also argue that Abram could have told the truth and still be spared by God so as to enable Him fulfilled the promises he made to Abram. But Abram, the father of faith chose to lie and God still fulfil his promises in his life: this is really the polemic aspect of this phenomenon of deception in the Bible. However, the fact that on both occasions Sarah became a concubine of Pharaoh and Abimelech, albeit for temporary periods, meant that God’s promises to make Abraham in Genesis 12: 2-3 ("I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you" would not have come to pass. This is because, if (and it’s a BIG if) Pharaoh seized the moment and had carnal knowledge of Sarah (we really don’t know if he actually did, the bible only says, “when Pharaoh's officials saw her, they praised her to Pharaoh, and she was taken into his palace” (Genesis 12:15), God’s promise to Abram wouldn’t have come to fruition. Indisputably, Abimelech didn’t have carnal knowledge of Sarah because the bible affirms, "But God came to Abimelech in a dream one night and said to him, 'You are as good as dead because of the woman you have taken; she is a married woman.' Now Abimelech had not gone near her, so he said, 'Lord, will you destroy an innocent nation? Did he not say to me, "She is my sister," and didn't she also say, "He is my brother"? I have done this with a clear conscience and clean hands.' Then God said to him in the dream, 'Yes, I know you did this with a clear conscience, and so I have kept you from sinning against me. That is why I did not let you touch her'" (20:3-6).On balance, abstaining from deception could have led to Abraham’s sudden death, preventing God’s promises from coming into fruition (Abraham could simply have been killed in order for Pharaoh/ Abimelech to permanently take Sarah). Conversely, using deception could have thwarted God’s promises to Abram (Sara could simply have become pregnant for King Pharaoh). Whether or not deception is a sin is as tricky as the phenomenon of trickery itself, extensively used in biblical narratives. Nonetheless, it is, in ethical and moral terms, inappropriate! |
