There are civil servants, University lecturers, school teachers, medical doctors, church leaders, especially Anglican priests, accountants and more with qualifications from Benin Republic. It's a shame Nigeria as we knew it no longer exists. |
Kia kia Dobo dobo Pata pata Uzo uzo Lai lai ![]() |
Nigerian universities churning out PhDs to every Dick, Tom and Harry, devaluing the award day after day to the point where it's mo longer worth the paper it's printed on. Sorry to say, I respect individuals who deliver but not the degrees they carry. Unbelievably, Goodluck holds a PhD and Mama Patience holds a BSc but both of them come across as individuals with no university education. Few days ago, I encountered a Nigerian woman who was called to the Nigerian Bar but couldn't defend his son on frivolous accusations by his classmates in school, suggesting she must have gone through university and law school by crook and hook. Let's see what this guy does with the PhD. Possibly, he just needed a title! Is LASU still selling its degrees? |
greenie77:That is they're are not deported at the end of their prison terms. |
This is deep. Things can, and do, happen. That said, one major inconsistency in his narrative concerns his British citizenship. If he's truly a British citizen, he can surely have his passport replaced, even in Lagos. One lesson to learn from this is that if as a British citizen, he helped his first wive and children to relocate to the UK and obtain their citizenship, they'll be in the UK (not in Nigeria struggling) to help him. He seemingly abandoned them, and now they are struggling with their own life and cant help him. Wishing him all the best. |
Women's rights in Islam? None whatsoever. |
This idiot asking "Is it me or things have gone wild in Nigeria?" vigorously campaigned for and supported Th1efnubu. There you go that's the dividend of your political choice. You ain't seen nothing. Your children's children will hear 'wen', and before you start running your mouth, I left the shit hole nearly 30 years ago. |
Lawless country being policed by criminals. |
Appletek:Police officer, Pele o. How's market? Shameless people who normally dont live and die well. |
In this digital, AI age, Nigerian security agencies are still talking about signal. What's wrong with this country? |
She even quoted the bible just as satan did when tempting Jesus. |
"I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ." Mahatma Gandhi. I don't particularly like Gandhi, but his comment describes most Christians I've encountered. Christians in particular and adherents of other religions in general, make me detest religion. |
"Salvation by grace not good works, lest anyone boasts", says the old book. |
Real pooh is happening in this country. Enriching themselves and their families in the name of infrastructural development. |
Christistruth03:In my undergrad days (not a UI grad), 2.1 graduates were the best. Some departments produced first class graduates once in a quarter of a century. |
Very typical. Nigerians and forgery are inseparable. |
Question coming from someone with no home training. |
Someone will marry this one sometime in the future. Mtchew. |
Let him know the test kit also showed HIV results and that he needs to take a definite HIV test becsuse from the one you took, he is positive. He should also notify the person he's shagging lately including the condom bust. As an aside, how come you're able to describe the size and shape of his manhood? You seem to have given him a ride. I'm hoping it was a protected ride. Shalom! |
Vanitatis vanitatum, omnia vanitas. |
Africans and superstitious...5 and 6.... |
tosinet:Shine your eyes. If you want BA/BSc, go to uni not polytechnic. |
babakb:We are saying the same thing. But simply swapping HND with BA/BSc as if they're pounds and dollars is what I said isn't ideal. What you're doing matches my description. It could be called top up or conversion degree. That's not an issue for me and shouldn't be for anyone. Sadly, the editorial didnt provide enough background for anyone not familiar with the saga. |
CJStarz:There is no where in the world where parity exists between HND and BA/BSc. They're two different programmes with different learning outcomes. If you cannot be admitted to a university and you went to Poly to gain ND/HND, to gain a unuverdity degree in the same subject, you'll have to undertake prescribed number of units before being awarded the degree. This is what overseas universities call top up. But you simply cannot convert HND to BA/BSc, it's not a currency. |
Certainly, this man is under curse. One could have asked that he goes for mental health check. Nigeria is a social milieu where the abnormal has become normalised, where forgery and fakery to get to the highest office in the land has become normalised and the nonsensical judicial system normalising it. And, before you brainless chavs call me Obidient. I'm not in support of any of the candidates who contested the last election. I'm in favour of the JJ Rawling treatment of Nigeria's political class as a channel for sanitizing the Nigerian polity. |
He lost everything. Now he's a dead man walking. Unfortunately, life means life in the Nigerian useless legal system. Anyone found guilty of embezzling public funds should be given the same treatment. |
The Nigerian Justice System is beyond corrupt. Shameful. |
Yet, the brainless Ilorin zombies are preventing Isese worshippers from exercising their right to religious freedom. |
I used to think that priests' excessiveness are easily checked by their Diocesans. Where is his Bishop? |
Who cares? Members of the political class don't care. Nepotism has killed Nigeria. |
The reality, which I see everyday, is that quite often, if and when those kids land in Europe or North America, they have to relearn the English language. At that time, they've already lost their mother tongues. Double jeopardy, really. |
Gold digger. Which woman would shag a male chimp? He should go and ask Oshiomole. The girl will jet out for good when she has starched enough funds into her foreign bank accounts. It's evidently not love but pecuniary gains. |
