Minister of stomach infrastructure . This guy cut his teeth in the legal profession under Late Gani Fawehinmi. But, unlike his master in the legal trade, he lacks integrity and moral fortitude, and would say anything to perpetuate himself in the good books of those responsible for Nigeria's multifaceted poverty. Shame on you, penchod. Useless man.
Family / Re: Father In Tears As DNA Test Confirms Four Out Of Five Children Are Not His by OLULAW: 5:00am On Apr 16, 2023
Years ago, I was dating this girl who 100% insisted no sex before marriage. We were in love, or so I thought. One day, suddenly she visited and before long, jumped into bed with me stripped herself completely naked, and was ready for us to have an afternoon shag. The entire compound was empty. Nobody was at home except the two of us. I've neither been so tempted, ever, nor successfully resisted such temptation, ever. We began with pre-intimacy, and as this lasted, I kept wondering what came upon her. I resisted the temptation. No penetration. She was livid, and left extremely upset with me. In a short while, thereafter, I heard she was getting married to another guy, and also pregnant. In hindsight, I realised she was trying to set me up. If I had sex with her that day, she could have congratulated me for being the newest dad in the world. I could have raised another man's child. Nigerian men, put your kids through paternity test to ascertain you are their biological father.

HIJAB + HEAT + HUNGER (RAMADAN) - NON DEPLOYMENT OF THE BRAIN = DEATH.
There is no God. Stop inflicting nonsensical religious beliefs--taught by a 6th century illiterate Arabian--upon yourself, All it does is to prevent you from living life to the fullest and sudden, untimely death. Lesson for others to learn from.

One thing I was made to understand about that kind of environment is that people living there hardly prosper...I may be wrong though na hear I hear am.

You are very, very wrong. Many people lived in this and worst conditions. It propelled them to work hard in school and aspired to become great in life. They wanted to escape that kind of lifestyle and they worked assiduously to make it in life. That was when education, in Nigeria, was a ladder for upward social mobility. Nigeria has since changed, and going to university and bagging degree(s), these days, no longer necessarily catapult you out of poverty.

Kobojunkiee:
Or the rule Jesus Christ taught to His followers may have simply been a rewording of the old commandment, Love thy neighbor as you love your own self, found in Leviticus 19 vs 18, considered the second greatest commandment in the Old Law. undecided

I get your point. However, a careful examination of the text shows that in all its NT appearances (Gospels and Epistle, I think), the Old Testament Hebrew word, Hesed which translates into the Greek New Testament, Agape, both meaning sacrificial love is missing in the Golden Rule.

MaxInDHouse:

When talking about Christianity most of you think it must be something that has to do with larger number of people in one society the way the churches of Christendom portrayed it but that's not the truth Jesus the man called CHRIST made it clear that his real disciples will be minut compared to other religions anywhere they are {Luke 21:17} yet throughout the world their activities will be felt {Matthew 5:14-16} because their preaching and teaching will catch the attention of people in all human societies at least thousands will be found in countries where millions of people lives and that will serve as a witness to all people that what Jesus taught is not beyond our grasp and it's practically applicable to all. Matthew 24:14
So don't think Christianity is about a religion that must gather billions of people in one part of the planet in a continent whereas in other places you won't even find any adherents their.
In India true Christians (Jehovah's Witnesses) are there preaching zealously and industriously teaching in all their neighbourhood about God's Kingdom in fact one of our brothers whose son needed a heart surgery was taken to India and our brothers there took care of a larger part of the bills even housing our brother and everyday worshiping together as a family.
So Christianity is not like Buddhism or Hinduism where worshipers just concentrate in one geographical location on the planet this is about what is practically applicable everywhere and people from all races are practicing it with LOVE, JOY and PEACE permeating their gathering! Matthew 7:16-18 smiley

Unlike Christianity and Islam, other World Religions (Buddhism, Hinduism, Judausm Sikism, etc.) are, by nature, non-proselytising.
It doesn't make Christianity any lesser or better than other faith traditions.

He was enlightened, and some of his principles are in sync with budda.

You're not far ftom the truth given that Buddhism existed 600 years before Jesus, and Jesus taught his folloers to follow the Golden Rule ("treat others how you wish to be treated"wink plagiarised, verbatim, from the Tipitaka (the Buddhist sacred Scriptures). Many Nigerian Christians are ignorant about other World Religions and the History of Religions, preventing them from being introspective.

Look at one of the tyres. Extremely low threading. Nigeria is a banana republic ruled by orangutans. Many things cause road accidents. Driving on worn thread tyres implies that when you slam the break the tyres slide rather than grip. You end where you don't want to. I'm not saying this is what caused the accident. One of the tyres definitely is below the thread threshold.

We know how this guy got his wealth. It's from the Nigerian commonwealth. If you know, you know. What we don't know, however, is what he gas given/paid back to the Nigerian society.

Until those who, like him, have cornered our commonwealth into personal use are: (a) given the Jerry Rawlings treatment; (b) the money put back into the nations purse; and (c) the Singaporean policy of embezzlement put in place, this sort of insult upon injury would continue to be experienced by Nigerians.

Femi Otedola should go and sit down quietly in his house and shut up his diarrhea mouth.
