In fact, Keziah thank you, if been looking for a way to say something about this "Area G Policemen":. They are the most dumbest people I've ever come across. They decided to put their dead brain to work recently and guys, they really put me off. Imaging, them arresting an innocent security man of a company and roping him into a robbery case even after, everybody had identity him and they did not even find a pin with him except his whistle. The situation was so bad, I can really go into details now, but my feelings is that as a citizen of this country, if one does not know "anybody" , one will just continue to suffer for nothing. I couldn't just imaging the type of people they employ into Police Force, I also heard of an armed robbery case that happened around Osmond on Saturday night to a friend , who stopped for the police for routine check on a checkpoint but unfortunately they were armed robbers in police uniform(and were did they got the uniforms from?), they collected their phones, wristwatches and money and tell them to go. So guys, what can we say to this, I saw their CP in Lagos State defending them on STV the other time and I really shake my head, he said there is no innocent person in Kirikiri, can you beat that? Anyway, i just dont like their attitude and Wish the authority can just do something about their hopeless situation. Maybe the the Govt should sack the force we have now and employ new people, who will put on white as their uniform because the uniform they are putting on now, is really affecting them and I know, the new blue one will not help matter either. |

Oh, sorry my dear, for the demise of your Dad, I could feel how painful, it's going to be. Just take heart. I once lost an Uncle 14 yrs ago, whom I was very close to, he was a Doctor and just 30yrs Old then. Up till now , I cannot forget him, I still wish I could just bump onto him somewhere, someday but I know this cannot be possible. Just take it easy and believe that, he has played his part and it's time for him to leave. Concentrate on shaping your own future without him and may God help you and others he left behind. |
Oh, so so sad that Kola Olawuyi has gone. I've been an adherent listener of his programme for more than 10 years now, and I'm gonna miss him so much. His sense of humor, laughter, generosity and compassion knows no bound. He's going to be greatly missed by his fans and may his gentle soul rest in perfect peace. Lobsang Rampa said this world is like a moving train, which stop at every bustop for people to get down and others to come in. People either come in or get down, in a rush or in a gentle way. The way Kola got down from this train still remains a mystery and like he used to say, that a "leave cannot fall from a tree without God's knowledge". Let just believe, that time has come for him to get down and take a rest. |
Go on, good boy. I hope you'll not be shock to your marrow, when you finally see her. Its better you take it easy and use your head. It may not go the way you think at the end of the day. In Love, without seeing her, Oops sorry, love is blind sha. Anyway continue to have a fun filled time talking and chatting with her and hope you'll be satisfy with her when you finally see her. Or what else can I say! |
Ah, my Sister, na wah. There was a day I had to pass through the place to CMS, that place was horrible. I asked the driver, whether they have a mortuary around the place, because it was smelling like hell,I didn't know, it was actually, a dead/rotten body avenue. Why I asked was that, the scenario around the place, was just normal, some people were playing draught in front of the mortuary, while some were even eating(imagine). Also some maggot water was coming out of that mortuary garage. It was terrible. I really pity those people that has offices around the place. Pray the state government should do something about it. I was told that unclaimed dead bodies they(councils) pick on the road are usually brought to the place and they don't always have light. Anyway, something should be done before the whole place become something else. I had to hold my breath that day and had to curse that driver for taking me through that route. One lesson I've learnt in life is that , its when one is alive that one smells nice, but when dead comes crawling in, the next thing is for one to smell like rotten shit. I don't wish to pass through that place again until something is done about it. Wish the Governorship Aspirants should go to the area to campaign or how do you feel.? |
In the name of Almighty God, AMEN, AMEN, AMENNNNNNN. I receive it in Jesus name. |
kiss, kiss, kiss, then fingering, fingering and fingering, what's next, hope you will not be sentenced to death at the end of everything. You better be careful dumbhead!!!!!!!!! |
Yeah! I love that ![]() My dear, the arithmetic was just right, that is, you've eventually met your better half after parambulating for a very long time which means there is somebody out there for each and everyone of us, where and when we will meet them is what we may not know. Wish both of you the best. ![]() |
I beg let me pass, I no wan get headache over elections that has been decided before we even vote . If they like let them postpone it till kingdom come or even, when OBJ is leaving, let him put his son or daughter there, that is his business but one day sha, sanity will return to this country. Let them continue to play this country around like a chess or casino wheels, e no go better for all of them ![]() |
Orikinla, I congratulated your friends on their wedding and really wished them happy married life but wait o!, the funniest aspect of it was that I heard about this wedding from a friend who was there too. He told me it went well and was wonderful. Fortunately or unfortunately that was the last reasonable discussion I had with the guy before he took to his heels on hearing somethings that has never happened to somebody before ever in this life that happened to me, that is, an offence that has never being committed by a living soul which was committed by me. Anyway, marriage is not a bed of roses according to some funny stories, I used to hear from some of my friends who are married, How I wish I could stay single forever and just adopt one or two more baby(s), so that my son would not be lonely but with this tempting offer before me, which I may not be able to resist - Unh Help me God. However, I wish the couples the best, and plenty, plenty Godly Children o, Amen. |
E yah, sorry my dear. Life atimes can be so hard. Especially for ladies that fall in love easily and stupidly like us. Though you've not explain what really happened between you guys but my dear just forget about him jare and continue your life. It may not be easy, honestly because I've had my own fair share of falling in love with a Nairalander recently, everything was going gay-gay until the guy discovered I had a child and he backed out. It was very painful but wetin I go do. The only thing is just to look very very well before you leap next time. That does not mean, there are no other reasonable members in Nairaland but next time, I may not reply anybody that mail me from Nairaland for reasons best known to me, I no wan wahala. My dear, just take solace in the fact that he does not belong to you - pronto, God will bring a better person to you at the right time. Just pretend he's dead and gone. Do other things to make yourself busy and pray to God to blow you better breeze and let you forget about him. Enjoy yourself and put on your better self. E no go dey easy o, cause, I'm still having headache and hearteach over this matter once in a while when I remember the situation, but I am getting over it. Take Care. |

My dear, the money is damned too small. In case, you have to feed , cloth and transport yourself to the place, unless otherwise or else, you'll be taking salary advance every blessed day before the end of the month and if you continue like that, you will discover that, on payday, what you'll get will be zero amount. If it a Marketing job, with good commission attached, and you can cope , then give it a try, at least from there, "you fit waka jam goodluck and good job" but if not and the office is not next room "forget it". Remember, on taking the job, people will believe, you're now working and something must 'drop' from you, if you keep on complaining, they will tell you "half bread is better than none" . You can still pray, scout and apply for jobs, dont worry , God will surely make a way and provide. But come to think of it, how can a company offered N5000 to a fresh graduates? In this country, where N5000 can just melt away within a second, Na wah for the future of youth in this country o. |

My dear, there is nothing wrong in marrying a single father. If there is love and compatibility. Being a single father or mother is not a crime and I bet nobody likes to be in that situation but circumstance atimes, but can one now open his or her eyes and let good things passbye because of one flimsy excuse, one will later regret? The devil you know is better that the angel you know now. Its better to marry a single dad that will give love, kindness and sincerity(and can produce) that marrying a guy who will eventually jump around and the end of the day have children outside their matrimonial home without even telling the wife or going to the altar with a guy who is nothing but a "February". Anyway, you don't have any problem in as far as you can accept his child or children though at times, it may be difficult especially if the kids are so attached to their mother or even father or vice versa but I belief things can work better . @ dennylove, my dear you sabi nothing, you must be very young I presumed. But don't forget an adage that says "whoever is still living does not know what will kill him" ![]() |
Ha, IBB, next President ke? for where?. God forbid trillion times. The memory of that June 12 alone scare me, because I can still recollect vividly what happened during that time and when it was being commemorated in 1994 . The souls of the people that went with it will not allow him to become President again. Now come to think of what will happen, if IBB become Presido again, suffering go just begin. I bet letter bomb will be freely use and even sef, everyone of us go dey carry gun, be selling cocaine and all vices one can think of will happen. I could forsee doom for this country. I am not saying he shouldn't come back o, but he should remember the law of Karma and whoever fight and run away, will surely live to fight again, IBB has done enough bad(I bet he doesn't believe that) and he's surely coming back to reap it. My parting short is that, may my dream about him almost 8yrs ago about his coming back to contest, (which I find very difficult to believe then) of people taking his money(or is it Nig money he has stolen?) and his losing woefully, come to past in Jesus name. (Amen, Amen, Amen) And for people supporting him , Uhn I shake head for you o, ![]() |
Hey! fellybabe, that's very inspiring. I'm planning to start a business of my own come next year and I needed some inspiring words to be able to plunge into the unknown . I believe with God everything is possible. I'm able to get some hints on what you posted here and I'm gonna make use of it. Thanks and God bless you. Can you please give me the Nigeria yellow page site? ![]() |
He, He o, wonder shall never end in this Nigeria!!!!!!!!. With this "guguru and epa" politics . Ride on brother!!! By the time u people turn this country inside out sha, we shall see. ![]() However, if Yerima did not win come 2007, I will pack all my luggage and luggageses(or is it bag and baggageses) to Malaysia.(DONT BEG ME O) So help them God ![]() |
If I may change the tone of my question, I would rather ask IBB this; Mr IBB Sir, this time around, if you(in your wildest dream ) ever become the President of Nigeria, how may years will you like to spend,(then "stepping aside" will be an ol' English, "FOREVER" will be reigning) 40, 50, or till kingdom come when we all might have gone to heaven or wherever?. "Whatever our past leaders didnt do right since the amalgamation of Nigeria by L.Lugard, be rest assure that IBB will do them, if he become the President in 2007. No be me talk am o !!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Hey ya, sorry my brother, I could just imagine how painful this would be for you. Anyway take heart, but you know Nigerians and their syndrome now. You suppose to know TFC wouldn't want to pay, unless you use some "agidi" (if u have enough). Its better you use the media against them, at least to prove some points. Lawyer go collect money, police forget them, nothing useful may come out of them and those guards, na another case, they're just looking for "tips"(that is the reason for their "kurukere waka" whenever they want to show you where to pack when you go to eateries). Tell one or two newspapers about what happened , it will spoil their image small, even if you don't get your money back. But, you yaself, you should have taken your money inside with you now. Abi 250grand too much to carry (maybe na N100 dirty notes sha). Take solace in the fact that, they didn't steal your car or take your life and hope you've learnt your lesson. ![]() |
My question to him would be: If you ever(ever) have the opportunity of becoming the President of Nigeria again, which other names would you like people to call you or attach to your name? ![]() |
I was trying to read a posting by somebody(can't remember who again) about a mermaid being found after Tsunami, NEPA struck and my computer went off. I'm now trying to look for it again but can't find it. Can you help? Thanks Darling. ![]() |
My friend, take a very good look at your situation and pray over it very well. Your situation may due to what you didnt do right in all the text or it may be spiritual problems. Just be prayerful and take to the advice of that nairalander who suggested MFM. It really works cause I'm a living testimony. Take care ![]() |
Hey, thanks friends, I love you all. May Naira never cease in our pocket |
My name is Olulayo. I'm a new member of nairaland but I hope, I'm save? I joined nairaland.com yesterday but unfortunately, since I've been using my e-mail address, I've never receive a 419 mail before, but immediately after my name appeared online, a scam mail was sent to my box. Another thing that baffles me was that, a friend who also joined at the same time was also sent the same 419 mail. What's happening?Anyway, nairaland keep up the good work and for the members, higher, higher will you go but for the 419ners, whatever you gather for a year will be blown away within a second, be warned!!.
