Now man, if you need a car or you wanna get your car registered, my number dey there. Nor do because of politics carry my food go give another person

Sir, I have read all your posts...you are very intelligent and objective and have put forward your points very well.

Ignore that guy you were responding to. Obidients usually resort to abuses, bullying and maligning others when they don't have their way or you don't agree with them.

The last election in which I voted was 2011 but this year I decided to go to INEC to transfer my voters card and vote in 2023, not for Peter Obi of course, but also to prove to these Obidients that elections aren't only about them and their candidate.

Your business is blessed, irrespective of whether you vote or not or whom you vote for. Just ignore their bullying!

2023 is almost here...God preserve and keep us beyond 2023.

There is something sleazy about Peter Obi. What did he do to alleviate the sufferings of poor Anambra indigenes? Hardly anything. 100 million poor Nigerians are now his political structure!

You have just said the fact!

We have asked them to bring forward his achievements in Anambra throughout his 8 year tenure...they have failed to deliver, even with promise of cash rewards.

We have asked what solutions Peter Obi has to stopping subsidy completely which he himself has said is a scam, what solutions he has to bring down the naira-dollar exchange rate, etc...we are still waiting for them to respond.

All they tell us to vote for Peter Obi, so that it will be well with us and our children.

Who does that in a political campaign?

ASUU STRIKE

All these are Conservative figures. Add the 55% (Underemployment + Unemployment). Peter Obi does not need Nigeria. Nigeria needs Peter Obi.

So what exactly has Peter Obi said he is going to do to reverse each of the figures you posted above?

The truth is this; the oppositions are more scared of the combination winning than the religious effect.

They are only using the muslim-muslim ticket to blackmail Tinubu and confuse the gullible Christians.

All sensible Christians know that this combination is never a tool to islamized a country like Nigeria that is govern by numerous legislators from different religion backgrounds..

If its so difficult to divide or separate nigeria, how wud it be easy or possible for two persons to islamized Nigeria.

Fortunate enof, Propaganda strengthens the CITY BOY because he had faced and conquered so many more before now.

Think Lagos
Think Tinubu.

I'm a Christian by God's grace for 25 years... Muslim-Muslim or Christian-Christian ticket doesn't bother me..all I am after is good governance.

It's on record that as at today since 1999, Christians have ruled this country more than Muslims and we are where we are. Infact, we had so many corruption scandals and errors of governance under the so-called Christian leaders.

Some of the most under-developed states in Nigeria have been ruled by Christians, some others, Muslims since 1999. Why have the states not be transformed to Mini-Dubais' since 1999?

UAE that has transformed to a world class country in the last 25 years is being ruled by who?

That tells any sincere Nigerian that good governance is all about the leaders and their vision and not religion!

First n foremost your curses goes back to you n your generation in Jesus Name Amen. Are mine d one that wrote about the Lagos dlum or poverty capital of Nigeria? Check Google, and get your answer there. You ask are mine kinsman come in droves to Lagos, I am not even Igbo but I hate the wickedness against them by you people to start with and why not? Is Lagos not former capital of Nigeria? Are the Yorubas not in Igbo lands and their business aka churches not flourishing there? Also, did the Igbos tie you n your kinsmen from not doing legitimate business in Lagos? The answer is NO so why are you envious of their business n hard earned money Ina very toxic environment as you people make them? Don't you collect your daily Owoda from all Igbo men on daily basis even by force yet, they are still flourishing? Are there no Igbos in every part of Nigeria why are you guys always yelling them to leave Lagos n yet you have your kinsmen in their regions too? Igbos are peace loving and have been living peacefully despite all inhumane behavior meted to them by all n sundry, they pay heavy taxes and house rents to you guys yet, una still dey cry. In osun today, Adelekes won and the Agberos went to destroy Igbos shops for supporting Adeleke, why? These questions beg for your holy sincere answer. I've been hearing of your plans to unleash evil to them come 2023 but, yet they are resolute n will forever support competence than incompetence. They will vote Obi and nothing will happen. You vote your candidate and Igbos will vote whoever they deem fit to build the shackles Nigeria is now back to being the real giant if Africa. If it pains you so much, hug a transformer.

Where is the curse or curses in all of my response to you? Did you read and understand my response to you? And you even added "in Jesus name"...so you believe in Jesus and you said all that you have said in these 2 posts? You have proved me right in my earlier response to you grin grin grin. That's the reason why Christianity is still the way it is in our country... people calling Jesus Christ at the slightest opportunity and doing everything opposite of what Jesus said, did and commanded Christians to do. Go back and read your Bible.

Go back and read my response slowly again...check for any curse there...unless you are already feeling guilty. Thats my only comment on your response.

As for all the other things you said in your response, I didn't read it... don't have the time!

Igbos this, Igbos that, yet without them, your Lagos is dead. Cry me a river, I will rather waste my vote than to vote a corrupt individual. I leave you to God to judge, whether you believe in God or not. Always be careful what you say on social media and who you say it to.

On the 2nd bolded statement, if Lagos is the worst city in the world to live in , why are you and your tribesmen still coming to Lagos in droves on an hourly basis?
Why are your people doing business and making millions and billions of naira in Ladipo, Idumota, Aspamda, Alaba, Amuwo-Odofin, and all the nooks and crannies of Lagos and are not thinking of relocating those businesses to Awka, Onitsha, Owerri, Abakaliki, etc anytime soon? Like saying the gutter or canal is smelling and stinking but you still go and sleep in it every night? Does that make any sense?

If Lagos is shit or rubbish, kindly relocate and give us peace! You can't rub mud in the face of people who host you or rubbish the place where you make your daily bread! It's not done!

Oga, stop the the hypocrisy!

Your comment reeks of hypocrisy and sentiments.

Why did your reference just Atiku and Tinubu? No matter how you see it, they both are citizens of Nigeria and have the right to aspire to any office.

Secondly, Atiku and Tinubu can't be responsible for the rot in all the states in Nigeria. Governors get monthly allocations in billions. Do they give their allocations to Tinubu or Atiku? What are the functions of the State Assemblies and LG Chairmen?

Why didn't you mention Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso? Are they not former governors?

No election will turn violent. Forget the threat! Tinubu and Atiku have rights to contest just as others. What we can do as citizens, is support whoever we deem most suitable, by our own thinking. Everybody can't support your preferred candidate. That is why it is a contest.

Na Tinubu and Atiku dey govern Nigeria since 1960? Has Tinubu or Atiku even governed Nigeria before?

Go and hold your ward councilor, LGA Chairman, House of Assembly & Reps member, Senator, Cabinet Minister and Governor responsible for those basic things you said that you do not have.

Succinctly put! You got it so right!

People will be shouting Tinubu up and down as if he has governed Nigeria since the beginning of our democracy. Even if they claim he rules and controls Lagos, Lagos is just 1 state out of the 36 states in this country along with the FCT. Why have the other 35 states not progressed and become small Dubais'?
Is it not because the leaders of the other states have also been stealing money? Why are these hypocrites not firing their leaders too? Why are these hypocrites not voting other parties asides from PDP for these 23 years of democracy? Yet they still stick to PDP even though PDP hasn't developed their region except Akwa Ibom.

Pots calling kettle black!

In the whole of Nigeria, they have proved to be the least politically sophisticated and dynamic. All states in other regions of Nigeria, North, South West, Middle Belt have changed parties over the course of our democracy, only them have stuck with PDP and it's decampees ever since!

The surprising thing about this coming election is that Obi's supporters are not willing to discuss the track records of contestants.

I'm surprised by this sudden change of
election approach.

Because their candidate has no track record. I visited Anambra state, UNIZIK, Awka to be precise, 2-3 times between 2012-2013 when Obi was governor. I worked on the GTBANK branch project in the campus then. Infrastructure from Enugu to Awka to Onitsha to Upper Iweka/Bridge head was nothing to write home about.

About a 2 weeks ago, I asked people who support Obi to put forward verifiable proofs of at least 7 of Obi's legacy projects while he was in office and the 1st person would get N10,000. Up till this moment, none has come forward.

Throwback:
When Tinubu took over the government of Lagos State at the end of May 1999, Lagos State public school teachers were on strike and had refused to resume for 3rd term for that academic year by April under the Marwa regime.

Tinubu did his magic and by end of June 1999, the teachers resumed and I personally resumed 3rd term just 2weeks to when my siblings at FG Unity Colleges were to return home for their end of session summer holiday.

Tinubu is an administrative wizard. He is an action politician who is ready to deliver unlike those who are just receiving training in Egypt.

My support for Tinubu stems from personal experiences of his actions as Governor that affected me positively and my knowledge of his many initiatives that I didn't even benefit from but was available to others.

I am a Christian and I will vote a Muslim - Muslim ticket that has a Tinubu as the principal.

I completely agree with you!

During my days in the higher institution during Tinubu's administration in 2001, I personally visited the roads being constructed by Julius Berger, specifically, Yaba-Lawanson-Iyana Itire road and the Marina road at CMS on different occasions. I went there for a personal field trip to see practically what I was being taught in school and I also asked the Berger staff some questions about road construction. I was awed by the different kinds of construction equipment at the disposal of Julius Berger.

Fast forward to 2012-2014 when Peter Obi was in power in Anambra state, I was on a GTBANK branch project in UNIZIK, Awka. I would fly to Enugu then charter a cab to Awka on a number of occasions. Sometimes I would leave Awka and travel to Onitsha enroute to Benin where I had another GTBANK branch project at UNIBEN. All the roads to and from Awka to Onitsha was an eyesore.

Why then should I now cast my vote for Peter Obi?

Tinubu has my vote. I vote for competence over emotions any day anytime.

Pained soul! What has what is on a paper got to do with Suya?

I won't be surprised if the man has business or works in Lagos or has happened to pass through Bourdillon road where Tinubu lives.

If he truly hates Tinubu like this, he should never pass Bourdillon road because Tinubu lives there. If he has business or works in Lagos, he ought to relocate from Lagos to show his hatred for Tinubu. If he doesn't live in Lagos, he should determine not to visit Lagos or Ikoyi until Tinubu is no more...just to register his hatred.

Wonders shall never end!

And this one will enter church on Sunday and say he is worshipping and praying to God...which God? The same God as expressed in the Bible? Make the man go read Matthew Chapter 6 verses 12,14,15...the Lord's prayer...and see wetin Jesus talk for there...make him change his ways!

Finally someone said it.

I started by leaning towards Obi but over time and watching him closely if I vote Obi today it will only be because I believe the South East deserves a fair shot.

Some would say we should depart from APC and PDP, forgetting that Obi only left PDP to Labour on the eve of primaries because he could not win. If Obi could win he would be in PDP today.

And it is undeniable that Obi does not stand for what Labour stands for, so as Wike has said, the man lacks character and integrity. He proved this by denying something he has said on record, more than once. But where he almost lost me was when he pushed the blame to "a youth". Does that sound like a man that really respects the youth?

Listened to the Datti guy as well. Half knowledge of economics so he can say things the masses want to hear but have no substance.

Facts be told, Tinubu is a better technocrat though currently unfit for the position due o his age. Atiku is only disqualified for me, on the basis of politics of ethnicity and religion.

As I said to a friend months ago, the youths should be clamouring for a fresh start not to recyle these old men.

You spoke my mind!

Why did the youths not support Moghalu, Sowore, Fela Durotoye, etc - candidates principled enough to decide that they would not join any of the major political parties but stand on their own whether they win or not? Candidates who have never been part of the problems of this country...

If the youths had thrown support behind any of these 'clean' candidates, then we would know that they were serious.

A guideline was shared by INEC and it appears lots of Nigerians did not bother to go through the document.

INEC has never accredited more than one polling agent per unit.

15 agents per polling unit - not possible

15 votes per polling unit - very possible

Each polling unit is expected to have an average of 500-750 registered voters and a conservative 10% turnout gives 50 voters. 15 people cannot fight 35 people to defend a mandate. With seven months to the election, there is a problem if the LP cannot get their projections right.

https://inecnigeria.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/REGULATIONS-AND-GUIDELINES-FOR-THE-CONDUCT-OF-ELECTIONS-2022_updtd.pdf

Thanks for the explanation. Even if INEC could register 15 polling agents per unit, 15 x 176,000+ polling units equals 2,640,000 polling agents. How does LP plan to recruit, coordinate and monitor such quantum of polling agents?

I'm wondering aloud...

15 agents x 176,000+ polling units that are going to be used on election day equals 2,640,000 polling agents (people)!

Even if the polling agents will serve for free, how does Pat Utomi plan to recruit, coordinate and monitor the logistics of such number of people, bearing in mind that LP isn't on ground in most parts of the country?
How is Pat Utomi sure that the agents who decide to work for free will not be bought over with money by APC or PDP?

I am an Obident but labour party has to work harder. Aisha Yussuf asked a very serious question on Twitter...who is the LP's Spokesperson, we don't know. Who is their Youth leader, Women leader, who are their Governorship candidates in all 36 States, Senatoral candidates, House of Representatives candidates, National Secretary, Publicity Secretary..etc. Most people don't even know their ward office in their various states, it's just like they're running on auto pilot.

We have to know these people because they're the ones who would be on the ground on the day of election. The party hasn't even told us...I'm following them on Twitter and they don't even seem to know what they're doing.

I sent them a message on Twitter telling them to boldly write Labour Party on their ballot logo and remove the forward ever, that other parties like PDP APC APGA and SDP have their acronym written boldly on the ballot paper. Till date my message wasn't replied.

They have a lot of work to do, and it has to be done quickly. If not for the youths who are striving daily to ensure that Peter Obi and Labour Party keeps trending on Twitter they would have been forgotten by now cos the party in itself isn't doing anything at all. It's just like they don't even care.

Osun election is on Saturday, yet not even the LP chairman is there on ground to mobilize grassroot support for the party. They have to wake up o.

Oh! So it's just dawning on you that when people said LP didn't have structure, they were right...or you thought they were just blabbing?
You thought that the youths and people supporting Peter Obi were the structure, right? How wrong you and everyone else who thought the same way have been.

Those lapses that you have observed is the structure that is being talked about and which LP is currently lacking and which even PO's supporters can't provide a substitute.

You sent message to their Twitter handle, no response. Aren't you aware that Twitter handlers are paid some good money to do their jobs?
Ward office...is either rented or built or somebody donates? Does Labour party have the money for such expenses or the people ready to donate in every ward in the 774 local governments in Nigeria?
Nobody has gone to Osun to campaign with the LP candidate...isnt money that would be paid for air fare and road fare for the party people that will go to Osun?

Like someone posited on a thread here yesterday when Aisha Yesufu was asking that N100 billion fund be raised for Peter Obi, Peter Obi knows the humongous cost involved in this election matter and being that he doesn't give shishi, he may not want to use his money to fund the election and Labor party doesn't have the funds..thus, things will not move as you desire.

The goal of a political party is to win elections for its members.

Tinubu would not have picked a Muslim VP if Pdp had not picked a northerner to succeed another northerner who ruled for 8 years.

Nigeria is divided today between the North/South and Christian/Muslim.

Why is there so much fuse over an idea Muslim/Muslim ticket when we all kept mute over an idea of a northerner succeeding another northerner?

Good question!

Please help ask the naysayers here! What is good for the goose is good for the gander!

I don't blame you sir. Even Adeboye has lost his voice. Conscience sold. As if Muslim Muslim ticket will be what Christ will endorse if he were to still be on the earth.
I can't seem to wrap my head around this MM ticket cos I don't trust the North with securing Nigerians. Not with this level of banditry. My conscience can't even allow me.

Sorry sir, but did Jesus Christ ever endorse any human government while He was on earth?
Please show it to me in your Bible.
I'll be waiting.
Thanks.

Nigeria has never been this divided my brother. Tinubu is a good man but a whole lot is wrong with his choice of VP.
Are you trying to tell me that there's no Competent Christian up north.
And let me correct an impression here, whoever Tinubu pick as governor in Lagos is not bc of competent but his personal interest. Except you can prove that Ambode was not doing well as a state governor in Lagos.

Hello sir...do you live in Lagos? This year is my 30th year living in Lagos...was originally born in Lagos but lived in Benin before coming to Lagos with my parents when I was 11 years old.

I have seen both military and civilian governments in Lagos. Ambode spoilt a lot of things in Lagos...e.g. Lagos became a refuse dump because he stopped Fashola's PSP initiative, wasted hundreds of billions of naira building bus stops and terminals whereas the roads that led to the bus stops were in a bad state of disrepair, he stopped construction of internal roads which Fashola did (1 infrastructure at a time), his wife slapped the Chaplain of the State Chapel at Alausa, etc.
Unfortunately, many easterners that I have interacted with believe Ambode was a good governor, don't know how they came to that conclusion... perhaps because he fell out with Tinubu, the main enemy....(the enemy of my enemy is my friend).

No, it's not. There are good people in both religions. Please let's stop dividing ourselves along religious and tribal lines.

I as a Christian totally agree with you.

I and my wife have on different occasions been cheated by so-called Christians whereas I have at least a Muslim client who was my most faithful client up till his death in December 2020.
An assistant pastor in my wife's church (before I married her) took goods from her worth between N30,000-N35,000 on credit sometime in 2008/2009 and hasn't paid till today.

In contribution to the topic, who wins or loses the election is not about the number of decibels of the noise made in the church, it's about the number of people who come out on election day with their PVCs to vote for a particular candidate to at least 25% of the votes in at least 24 states of the federation.
