Those clamoring to leave this woman alone forgot that she is the number one woman in Nigeria. Its a pity. ![]() |
Olumogun:Still on this GORILLA vs MONKEY argument ![]() No wonder this nation is backward if this is all the BRAINS in Nigeria are meant for =ARGUMENT. |
akinolasam:Meaning : Sister Idi-ileke, you are to write out the words you want interpreted to Ekiti. @ Idi-ileke 'm having an headache - she nu orififo n gbe mi I have no classes today, but I have exams to study for - Mi ke ni kilassi korankan leni, sugbon mi ni exam lati ka? What is wrong with that child? - ki i se omo un? how are you? - be o ni? Corrections I'm having an headache = ori 'fo mi (or) efori yomi lenu I have no classes today, but I have exams to study for = Mi ni kilaasi konkon loni, amo mo ni udanwo lati kawe fun. What is wrong with that child? = kai somo ni? (or) komi somo ni? (or) komi yomo ni lenu? How are u? = ba'o ni? There is a general word for CLASS (eko), but a typical Ekiti person will use "kilaasi" instead. I am really happy seeing the way we are all trying to keep to our root. My little girl often refer to Ekiti dialect/language as "grandma-english" each time she hears it. |
Omo oba, oseun awe, ala ni gbogbo ule a. |
@ akin bawo ni ore, ku'jo meta, se ala lo se? ope die ki mo roho re lori Nairaland. |
Quote She no fit polish herself grammatically right from when her husband be deputy director for OMPADEC, deputy Guvnor for Bayelsa, Guvnor for Bayelsa, Vice presido for Naija & now Presido. Haba Hajia, Why are we in hurry for her to improve her spoken English? It is really too EARLY to do that. Let us wait till after her husband's tenure. ![]() To those who sees nothing wrong in her self public show of shame, and to those who are already politicizing or polarizing this issue, shame on you. I think the Presidency should quickly vote a token of N10 billion to get English teacher for her. |
what a shameful argument. Maybe I should help some of u guys to see the other way of presenting this thread; Which is smart = monkey or gorilla? Until the BRAIN IN THE BOX is positioned to bring freedom and better standard of living to the people in those places it is monkey Vs gorilla comparison. |
She called you UNCLE. And so what? That is never a new thing now. Many men started as UNCLE but end up as DARLING. Nothing spoil my broda, no dull yourself oh! ", to ba dojo ale, pemi loruko, kofami ni irun 'mu , " |
You guys are just wasting your time sending pathetic message to Jennifa when she had already finish converting the whole incident into another home video Title : Big girlzzzzzzzz Versus Big Boyzzzzzzzzzzzz Part 1 |

As long as it doesnt become a routine. This is why men dont do this kinda thing, something as simple as this, because of society's chiding.[/quote]^^^^ my sister, this na true talk violent:What is wrong in sweeping his own house? Many of us do some other things like pounding yam, picking beans, ironing clothes, etc When a man do any of these once in a while, it shows that the wife is not seeing as a slave in the house. talknafree:Ask some market women, they prefer a woman as customer than men sometimes, because some men are tough bargainers. |
kokoye:There is just one thing that I notice in some of the earlier translations. A typical Ekiti person will likely call his senior brother "oga-mi"rather than 'buoda-mi' Even among the locals, the tendency however is a mixture of English and Ekiti when speaking, so the reason for such remark like: 'Buoda mi, ka bi e wa . .mo ti j'oko si b'eee la taaro'. |
Congratulations to Uti, and to all Nigerians. |

Ekiti kete, inku orire oh. Eledumare a baa tu upinle ra see lasiko ki Fayemi gori usejoba yio. Aasee. Open Letter to Fayemi The people of Ekiti State, who had stood by you all these 4years because they believed in you, welcome you to the Government House. It was a journey that took us 4 years to attain; yes no time is too long to get to ones destiny. Now that you are here, REMEMBER THE SON OF WHO YOU ARE. Do not disappoint the FAITH & FATE of Ekiti people. You could be the long awaited JOSHUA who will turn the waste land of Ekiti into a PROMISE LAND. Once again, you are welcome. |

172 people ??Why is it that nothing true can ever comes out of the NIGERIAN POLICE? How can they killed 172 in Aba, and by now no one is hearing any noise? Abeg, police should tell us how many people here actually affected. |
Its a pity. The man should change his name to Mr Lot Such a man is not worth living among humans - he should be sent on exile (evil forest) where beast like him lives. The daughter too should be prepared to nurse a bastard to be named 'Moab or Benammi' That will be her reward for been a coward for too long under the deception of reprobate father. To everyone outside there, the watch word is WATCH & PRAY. We should be more concerned about the safety of our wards. |
If someone had told the authority that the celebration on 1st Oct should be shunned, no one will listen; everything has come down to USING SOME BILLION TO BUY 2 BOMB EXPLOSIONs AND LOSS OF TWELVE LIVES. May the Lord grant the families of the deceased the fortitude to bear their loss. |
The News coming up from Ibadan this afternoon on most of the Television Stations is that of the killing of 2 kids of the same parent by Mobile Policemen at a checking point in one of the street at Ibadan. The children where on their way from school this afternoon when 'stray bullets' hits the duo. The moment this incident happened, all the Mobile policemen took to their heels. The most pathetic part of the story is that while everyone who heard about the incident where feeling sad about the development, the senior police officer (a police WOMAN for that matter) who commented on the incident denied the whole thing. When will God save us from the continuous reckless killing of the Police? How on earth should anybody with human feeling says the report was not true even when the reaction of the populace was shown on the Tv. We are all waiting to see if the Commissioner of Police in Oyo State will keep quiet again on the killing of these innocent children. |
@ AqRiUs I think its easy to tell who the sick one is. Lts hope you can figure this one out all on your own. Yeah, like some of us are already pouring the entire blame on the "he-goat" of a father forgetting the "she-dog" of a daughter. So if you think any of them is sane, then ![]() |
Something is sure wrong with either the man or the daughter. One of them is sure 'sick'. Again the man may be a cultist or a spiritualist. And if you are on of those who are still fighting and responding to justify or condemn one tribe or another, it is either you are a kid, immature, myopic, or illiterate. This is a crime against humanity and not a racial issue. |
