Where are those politicized NGO for children, youth, and women.
This is something they should react to very fast before some crazy people begin to use it as yard-stick for some moral and religious "crimes".

I am surprise at the style of all the arguments so far.

However I have BREAKING NEWS for everybody:

We all pay our TITHES!!!
If you do not pay it to God where it matters,
You will definitively pay it to the devil where you will even beg for it to be accepted.

So, if you believe in tithing = GOOD.
If you don't believe in tithing = FINE.

Whatever side you believed in has a reward.

The legacy an average Westerner wants to give his children is education.
So, any Govt that will not be considerate in that area can never win the admiration of Oodua race.

Am not a politician neither do I believe in men praises, but may I say here that;
Kudos to the Governors of LAGOS STATE, ONDO STATE, EKITI STATE & OSUN STATE.
How good will it be if Ogun and Oyo State governors can impact the life of their citizens.

As a true follower of christ, it is wrong for Pastor Adeboye to allow his members to continue to call him daddy which is contrary to the instructions of our lord Jesus christ.

That is apart from the fact that he also preaches compulsary tithing which has now been confired to be a fraudulent manipulation of scriptures.

Paaul's teachings were strictly based on christ's teachings, he was not a rebel like you and your spiritualfather oyaks. Paul describing timothy as his son does not translate to him teaching us that we should be calling church leaders daddy contrary tothe teachings of christ.

I will love to contribute to this but only on a neutral thread. so if you want people like me who may not like to hijack other thread for argument to contribute, then . . . . .

1. I can see that a lot of the guys out here are better a "confussionist" rather than Christian.

4. It will be against Christ word if all of you though are talking good of Pastor Adeboye (and the likes).

Ileke Idi (waist band/beads) are of different types and for different purpose.

Some are for fashion.
some are charmed for various purpose.
once met a girl who could sleep with a man any time (save period or not) but had this waist beads.

I once suffered from the continuous embarrassment of some flying and crawling insects in my home.
Having spent a lot of my hard earn money buying different kinds of canned insecticides,
a young man then gave me one bottle of Double Barrel liquid insecticide (produced in his neighborhood)
I could not but personally went looking for the product after seeing its deadly action on
mosquitoes, flies, fleas, cockroaches, bedbugs, ants, spider, wall-geckos, and 4 black snakes (after fumigating the compound)
even the rats stayed away for some days after the exercise.  
what I now do is to carry out the same exercise once in a month.

I also got a rat killer from them which was effective but i don't like the idea of the bad odour in the house after 3 days
and the need to start looking everywhere for dead rats.

I think for once we should appreciate the position of the state Gov. He is from Oye LGA and he decided Ikole for the site of the university. This is very uncommon of our politicians. Remember the problem that Oni caused when he was the gov, attempting to relocate the Tunedik to his home town all in the name of self centered-ness. I think Arise should rethink otherwise generational crisis may arise as a result of this relocation.

I still don't know why a senator will be the one ruling over what happen i a state and not the state governor.
both the governor and the senator are from he same place, but different parties.

Its like the senator forgot that he is not just representing Oye people alone.
oye is not a senatorial seat, but a fraction,
so whatever he is doing must be to better the whole constituency and not to disorganize it.

The new wave of tension building in some part of Ekiti State now is on the right location for the approved Federal University in the state.

Ever before now all expectation from the local people, state executives and governor, was to site the institution at IKOLE EKITI been one of oldest H/Q's without such facility.

But again, the Abuja factor is coming to play just for an individual gain and glory as against the wish of the general citizens.

The question here is: must the peace, prosperity and well-being of a whole state be but a common toy in the hand of a politician?
