You insult my state brother and you want to know?
thanks Sister. I was really planning to get back at him today, but seeing his AGE from his last post restricted me. |
strangerf:Now I understand where U are posting from. |
QualityShare:This is a hard one. |
strangerf:Pls, let there be total decorum on this thread. No one is allow to police anybody or abuse the person of another. If you don't know your name(s), or you are ashame of it, kindly just read and move on. As for those who may not want people to know their real name, sorry, this thread may not benefit you. |
Many of us now go by our English name or our alias (nickname), thereby forgetting the original ROOT where we come from. If you are an African, especially a true Nigerian, no matter your tribe, language or dialet you must have been given a native name at birth. Do you still remember your Native name(s)? if Yes, what is the meaning? kindly indicate if the name(s) is for male/female or unisex. Mine were: OLUWASESAN ===> The Lord is the Rewarder == Male OLAROTIMI ===> Wealth abides (stay) with me == Unisex |
nkilirox:^^^ no love do not conquer all, MONEY does, abi ![]() so what do you want in a relationship, LOVE or MONEY? |
no be lie! dem resemble. |
eghost247:hummmm!, an underachiever! (another subtle definition for class/status) because a man/woman does not have a car, live in a mansion/build a house, come from Dangote or Adenuga's family? so when a man is not a master holder or a proffesor or an MD of a multinational he is an underachiever? and if a woman is not Agbani Darego, Dora Akwuyili, 'Cecilia Ibru' she is an under achiever? no wonder we don't have "HOMES" again where family VIRTUES and CHARACTERS are developed, but "HOSTELS" where man and woman just CO-HABITS to manufacture 'handsome touts' and 'pretty criminals' WHAT I THINK SHOULD COME UP AS IMPORTANT IN MARRIAGE IS LOVE & VIRTUE and not class/status. |
kai, na war oh! even after 2 days, its like no body wants to talk about Christmas here. the thought of extra expenses abi? |
tensor777:lets hope its dat simple:destroying the kidnapping network. if care is not taken, this "operation" may have just help in SPREADING them now. |
uhmmmm! another bad operation by the Nigerian Security system. thank God you got your prey in the cross-fire, but who will answer all the questions in the lips of Nigerian?
I understand the passion and sentiments in your post and those of others who expressed similar opinions. BUT, Kobojunkie is on the money with this one. We may never know the real truth behind the events that lead to Osisiwhatever's death but, I believe justice would've been better served and the "pain, fears and sufferings" of the people of Abia especially those who lost loved ones, would have been better assuaged if we knew the real backers of this killer or get to interrogate him and investigate his confessions. There are good reasons for the kind of caution expressed by Kobojunkie. Criminal justice is not all about shoot and kill. How did he get his ammunition? Who are his patrons? Was he working with some other partners? Where are the rest of his men? How many people did he kill? What is the structure of his organisation like? How much money did he collect? can we trace the funds? Did he carry out all the kidnappings we've seen in the last one year or do we need to look for some other independent groups? These and many more are the questions that should be asked and answered by a serious criminal justice system, especially one that is responsible for the safety and security of 150million people. Killing this one Maggot should not be an end. Capturing him alive could have helped us arrive at the root of his activities and prevent more Osisis. I don't think killing him on sight did that or will do that. From the accounts of Slap1 and other self identified witnesses, I do not believe the army did enough to help our fears. Killing this man is not enough. We need to get to the root of his terror. I'm not convinced we got the answers we needed. If I live in Aba, I will still be worried and afraid.
|
When we talk about Christmas, we can’t ignore the Christmas music that can be heard everywhere in December. Music plays a significant role in creating the desired nice atmosphere. To you, which Christmas song is the best selling one of all time? |
The irony of life anywhere is that what u call STATUS is a mere shambles to another person. what you pride in as wealth is just a peanut/change to someone else, and your so called royal family background/status is like a common man in another land. So, STATUS is just another subtle way of describing ego, pride, and self in a person. and if you disagree, then tell us: WHAT IS YOUR STATUS? |
When you see a man or a woman talking about status, age is still favourable, just wait till he is becoming Methusella, or she becoming Sarah, then STATUS will becoming un-important. I don't believe in status but true LOVE. |
Enough of this debate for and against. Is this DREAM ever going to become real? I don't even think that SEUN and other moderators read some of this else why are they not responding? |
I am never a football fan to any club side. I watched matches for fun of it, but my prediction is 3goals to 1. whoever deserve it should win it. |
What a dream? It will be fun if it finally happen. What about those that are not in Lagos environs? (i am always in Lagos at least 2 out of the 4 weeks in a month). I suggest zone arrangement: A) Lagos for the West B) Abuja for the Central C) Owerri/P-Harcourt for the East and South-South (consider safety pls) D) Jos for the core North The date can vary, registration to be done online through Nairaland, Gate-pass to be a combination of Username and some letters/figures, Moderators to divide themselves to each zone. Fees to be made reasonable but not too cheap. Donations and sponsorship should be welcome. and on that note I will be donating all JACKETS (condoms) for my own zone. ![]() |
I have copied out and explained word for word what you (NAIRALANDERS) have said in your post to the lady in question. She was very pleased and appreciated all your advice and I want to say thanks to the fwe who had taken pain not just o read the post, but contributed. Thank you. Please whosoever still want to contribute is welcome |
Just this morning between Mushin end of Yaba and Onipanu, a young man was said to hit another vehicle with his car, and thinking he was the one that had the right of the road (traffic right) he did not stop but drove on. On sighting the other vehicle now pursuing him recklessly, he drove straight to a near by police station. At the front of the station (Onipanu Police Station) he was alighting from his vehicle to walk into the station for safety and official report of the incident. Before he could open the door of his car, the pursuer pointed a gun to his chest and killed him instantly. The spilling of his blood was all over his wife and baby of about 1 year old. The sound of the gun shot attracted people to the scene only to find out that the gun- man was a D.P.O. of one of the neighboring police station. So, another YOUNG MAN is down from the bullet of a police officer. This happened about 3hours ago, and you can confirm this from anyone living around Onipanu Police Station as this has cause serious riot in the Area. |

If this is another means of making more CASH why not leave her to try her luck. the poster should have send in better pixs, or what is ur aim? |
Junior = Daddy, what do you have for me? Daddy = I will get you a jet when coming back. GEJ should stop treating the citizens of this nation as toy crazy children. we know it is not in their (Govt) capability to solve the problem of electricity. when the time come, God will intervene. we know he is next on the queue to grab as much of the LOOT as possible no one should decive us that they have the love of the masses at heart. |
IBB: one of d sad story for Nigerian. If he is expecting us to vote for him, he should be transparent at least for once in his life. Let him tell us the TRUTH: 1. the truth about Dele Giwa 2. the truth about Maman Vasta 3. the truth about his (wife) drug deals 4. the truth about JUNE 12 5. the truth about Abiola 6. and many more. until then, some one should tell him he is not FIT for presidency. late Abacha was an angel when compare to IBB. |
It is neither your place, nor my place, nor the crowd's place to try and take 'God's place' and "GOD" is a jealous GOD. . . . because it is not their right to METE OUT PUNISHMENT. When Cain killed Abel - GOD specifically directed all to "not touch Cain," because that was GOD's role to mete out punishment. I weep for everyone affected and involved.
A case of "if you are more righteous, then cast the first stone." the crowd forgot this when punishing the culprits. |
This is what I call an unpaid for ADVERT from the pit of hell against God's Kingdom. I am not and will never support what this so called pastor did, yet I want to believe he had done some good works before now. why is it that no one posted any of them? humm! he has given an occasion for the enemy of the gospel to talk. Anyway, there is still room at the foot of the cross for repentance. yeah Osama10:, he will gladly be received back by GOD. Are U surprised? |
Lord have Mercy (Pastor and the woman-friend) Who make the crowd the judge? Many who are quick to punish others for an offense are most times known to be more guilty. maybe a good one from the people, but what do you think Christ will rather do? |
A Mercedes Benz car well stocked with explosives, military boots, military water bottle, and bullet proofs was discovered where it was abandoned in an Hotel in Port-Harcourt. According to THE MEN OF SSS, there were enough proofs to link this to Mr. Okah. The discovery came after a lady who identified herself a a sister to one of the militants in the creek gave the police a tip off about the abandoned vehicle. |
Whoever assume that RELIGION can be separated from POLITICS is ignorant. @ post: may sound too radical, but it is another pointer that this nation will soon . . . ![]() eh! U know now. |
thanks Sister.
