The last part to clear is the eyes which may take days to weeks. Like I said my daughter's eyes cleared at 6 weeks. Please trust your doctor and trust God. If you don't trust your doctor you can take your baby to another hospital for second opinion. It is well with you.

My daughter had jaundice too, we were discharged but it took 6 weeks for her eyes to clear, I kept taking her back to the hospital and the doctor kept assuring us the level is low and it will clear with time. Now she is a perfectly healthy and active 14 months old. If you are sooo bothered take her back to the hospital for followup test.

I've been back to the hospital and was told her level is ok, it'll keep dropping but her eyes aren't clear and I heard about unripe pawpaw but I'm hesitant cuz I don't want to jump from frying pan to fire

Hi mama, the eyes takes time to clear, we were discharged after two days of phototherapy but was advised to do sun bath which we did for two weeks yet the eyes didn’t clear till she got to 5 weeks. So I’ll suggest you put baby under sun for about 20mins everyday, it will clear or go back to hospital for further evaluation

I have been sunbathing her cuz the Dr said we should do that but the sun is minimal where I live and I felt at 3 weeks it should have cleared from her system

Please take him back, the after effects of jaundice that is not well treated is not funny. mine wasnt discharged till his got down to 6 even at that we were asked to come back after a week to ensure it reduced further

Hello mums,I have a question to ask,a 12 days baby with a jaundice test of 9.1 discharged at the hospital after 12 hrs of photolight,now is 22 days but the eyes aren't clear yet.what can be done since the hospital discharged the baby

I cooked it in a pot of water till d color changed to brown,then drank it 2ce daily,first thing in d morning b4 food and last thing at night.i took it all throughout d cycle,I noticed EWCM for the first time in about 4 yrs but I didn't test that cycle if I ovulated but the second cycle I took I'm sure I ovulated cuz I tested.
