Bikonu, has Rohr made any mention of inviting Joel Obi nor Kingsley Sokari , because I remember Agali hinted no new players will be invited. This brings me to the next question; are we still experimenting or what ? Honestly, I am satisfied with our midfield that has Mikel, Ogu , Agu, Ndidi,Etebor and Onazi but if a room can be made for Joel Obi then who goes assuming everybody in the team is injury free and inform. Forget the rough patch Etebor seems to be going through the boy is still a force in that team and even Agu can play that defensive midfield like a world class. We saw it against Zambia. |

I have finally come to the conclusion that Iheanacho's horrible first touches, which again, sadly, let to the goal scored by Man City is something that will take sometime for him to perfect. Just like when I was teaching my wife how to drive and she was having trouble keeping the vehicle in a straight line but my frustration got the better of me. Today, she is an excellent driver. Its on this premise that I believe that this Iheanacho's shortcomings will not last forever...He will get better with hard work and time. |

Super Eagles forward terminated his contract with Konyaspor
.com
Dec 22, 2017 6:52 AM
Super Eagles forward, Imoh Ezekiel, has officially terminated his contract with his Turkish outfit, Konyaspor over breach of agreement according to reports.
The 24-year-old Ezekiel who has one cap for Nigeria has failed to rediscover his goalscoring form he has during his spell in Belgium where he scored 35 goals from 140 appearances in Jupiler but Konyaspor is not treating striker very well in the last six months according to his agent, Haji Liammed Gafaar.
“Imoh has terminated his contract and he is a free player now,” Gafaar told Completesportsnigeria.com.
“All what he was promised by Konyaspor when he signed, none of them were fulfilled, and in those conditions it’s difficult for a young player like Imoh to thrive. He is a young player with a lot of potentials.”
Ezekiel signed a three year deal with Konyaspor worth £3.75m last summer from Qatari side, Al Arabi where gone to made 9 appearances and no single goals before he terminated his deal with the club. I have always known this nigga is average , at best. Let him go back to Belgium abi na Holand and continue where he stopped. Next is Moses Simon, he can only hide for so long. Result ga akpo! |

terzurum5: Flashback.........
Torunarigha – My father told me to shun Nigeria for Germany
EMMANUEL OKOGBA 21 MAY 2017
Highly rated German-Nigerian defender Jordan Torunarigha has confirmed his father Ojokojo Torunarigha told him playing for Germany is best for his career than representing Nigeria.
https://cdn.vanguardngr.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/Ojokojo.png •Torunarigha As reported, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) approached the 19 year old Hertha Berlin left back to switch allegiance to Nigeria from Germany where he has played at four different youth levels.
However his father Ojokojo who played 12 games for Nigeria in the 80’s revealed he told Nigeria that his son is not interested. A claim which Jordan has now confirmed.
Jordan is yet to team up with the Germany U-20 team at the World Youth Championship in South Korea due to the club duties, and he reckons progressing through the ranks at Germany is his aim.
“ I was told of the interest from Nigeria by my father but as someone who has played for Nigeria in the past, he advised me to focus on progressing through the ranks with Germany instead of considering a switch to Nigeria “, he said.
https://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/05/torunarigha-father-told-shun-nigeria-germany/amp/ If Ojokanjo(too ugly) who once played for Nigeria tells his son to run for his life what else needs to be said. |

Mujtahida: Is this based on the four matches he played in the WCQ or the past? Please point out one game in the WCQ where he dribbled excessively, refused to release the ball when he was supposed to, refused to track back and defend. Please kindly do this and then we can see whether your analysis holds. Anybody familiar with Victor Moses knows he is very selfish and by this I mean holding the ball for too long and wanting to dribble everybody ,score himself and become the hero. I cant direct you to a particular game but he do this all the time. Against Algeria in Uyo and Cameroon in Nigeria it was obvious. He over carries the ball and dont know when to release the ball. In Uyo against Cameroon he denied Ighalo a golden chance because of his complacency. VicMo is a selfish player in the colors of Nigeria just like Okocha was but this doesnt mean they cant play good football. |

bennie1980: Queens Park Rangers captain Nedum Onuoha is set to return to action after spending three months on the sidelines due to a hamstring complaint.
The versatile central defender last played for QPR against Millwall on September 12, when he had to be substituted at half-time after he tore his hamstring.
The Hoops have provided a positive update on Onuoha's injury via their official website, stating that he has resumed full training and is in contention to feature against Leeds United on Saturday, December 9.
He has been training with the first-team squad for the past fortnight and came through a 60-minute training game at Harlington on Tuesday unscathed.
Born in Warri to Nigerian parents 31 years ago, Onuoha is now ready to play for his country of birth after declining an offer to represent the Super Eagles at the 2010 World Cup.
The Manchester City product previously represented England at U20 and U21 level.

Icon79: Please closely watch Victor Moses when he plays for Chelsea versus when he plays for Nigeria. Let me tell you what you'd find: He's still holding onto the ball too long when he plays for Nigeria, he doesn't do that in Chelsea. Granted he's playing in a different role. He still engages in excessive dribbling when he plays for Nigeria, maybe not as bad as before but he still does that, but he has learned to release the ball promptly when he plays for Chelsea. Again, we gotta consider that he's playing in a different role at Chelsea.
Furthermore, and most importantly, it doesn't make a lot of sense to deploy your best and most creative player as a Wingback. He should be deployed in the final third creating and scoring goals. That's just like Chelsea playing Eden Hazard as RWB or Barca playing Messi in that role. Moses should have a free role in the midfield ... we need his trademark dribbles runs and incisive passes to unlock tight defenses.
O pari I have hammered on VicMo indiscipline and complacency on so many occasion here. I know he is the highest goal scorer during our qualifiers but have you wondered why nigga has zero influence in the team....His commitment is questionable. At chelsea fc nigga is cool headed and plays to instructions but as soon as he puts on that Nigerian shirt he basically say ffuck you all. H e can contribute to the team but remove the "NEED" part. Super Eagle can win and even play better football without Victor Moses. |

blueto: For now it seems the competition is in the Left Back. Aina have been playing as a left back and it seems that is where Rohr want him so one of Idowu/Aina/Echiejile may need to drop. Aina is not looking too sure for Russia contingent unless if Rohr will try him at right back. As it stands , Ebuehi is ahead of Aina , Idowu is a natural left back and I can bet you Rohr is not dropping Echiejile. |

My stands on this issue is "let's allow the coach do his job". Let's discuss more of our opponents etc If Martins was better going by your drift why wasn't he invited even when we needed a top striker and Ighalo was not doing well or injured and Iheanacho was chopping bench. Answer that question and you will deduce why he is not better. The guy is a spent force. Quit trying to force him down our throats. |

Obafemi Martins played a single game when Oliseh was there if I am not mistaken and that was the last we heard about him. Rohr never invited him through out our impressive qualifiers run and we still dont need him. Let him make his top dollars and let the better players play. Are you an Oduduwa paid agent or something? |

This issue about Martins should take a serious rest because our success in Russia is not dependent on his invitation neither did he contribute anything to our qualification. So, why all of a sudden news about Martins is circulating like Super Eagles are doing very badly and needed a Martin to save us ? We have everything we need to even win the danm world cup if we work harder and that team spirit must not be tampered with. I know Martins from his early days at Inter Milan and he was phenomenal but its been over ten years and we DO not need his services, as it stands.
Why did you not call for his invitation during the primaries and why did you think Rohr sidelined him? Enough with this Obafemi Martins town criers. |

Obiano goofed big time and its both disgraceful and embarrassing to hear such nonsense from a well travelled man who is equally a ffuccking governor. That statement will stand to judge him ,soonest.
Firstly, Igbo didn't develop Lagos, its very sttupid to utter such crap. Lagos was in a very strategic position when the Europeans arrived and they used it as seat of government and Lagos grew from there and blossomed. Nigerians from all ethnic group moved there, worked hard and paid their taxes which were used to build the place up.
Finally, Lagos is a Yoruba land and will continue to be and Yorubas will continue to be favored because that's how it works around the world. Some ignorant and rretarded Igbos does not speak for the Igbo nation.
But respect is reciprocal, I will still beat Yoruba people down if they insult the Igbo nation. |
