We are appalled with what is happening in Libya but the Yoruba race cannot continue to turn a blind eye to igbo hate. NAIROBI (Thomson Reuters Foundation) - In Lebanon, a Kenyan maid has bleach poured over her head as punishment for cleaning the bathroom too slowly by an employer who threatens to send her home in a box.

In Saudi Arabia, another domestic worker from Kenya is given a grim choice: sex with the boss or death.

"I felt like I was a prostitute," she recalled. "I used to obey because I wanted to come back to my country safely."

Lured by the promise of well-paid work and a chance to escape joblessness at home, hundreds of thousands of Kenyans are thought to be employed in the Middle East, sending much-needed remittances to their families every year.

Kenyans, Ethiopians and Somalis were mostly the slaves taken to the middle east. Its no secret.

Good points you proffered too but decongesting Main Market has been ongoing over the years, remember when traders dealing in electrical fittings were moved to Oba from Moore, Sanniez etc streets, other traders took over, same happened when electronics traders were moved from Iweka road to the express, Abada traders from Nottidge, Key and building material traders to Ogidi etc, you'll find out that another group of traders take their place leading to the congestion around Main Market. Solution to this IMHO is that government should stop other traders going to those places that had been decongested.

Complete all power projects and ensure steady power supply for the industrial clusters.

Make Anambra the destination for education like tertiary institutions and make our secondary schools the most sought after.

Finish the orient refinery and increase production up to 50,000 barrel a day.

Retrain all those poorly educated teachers that are teaching our kids nonsense...This is very dear to me. Most of these teacher can't spell their own name.

Teachers college must be upgraded to the best capacity.

Decongestion of Onicha main market...What goes on at Onicha is third world trading. These traders must sell up, form a cooperative and with the support of the government go into production not selling some cheap goods from China. It takes a radical to carry out this very task...Onicha much change !!

Most of these Nollywood directors like Chidi Chikere and co has no sound training in movie making unlike Biyi Akindele and Kunle Afolayan. You can see the difference when a real professional like Mildred Okwor, Biyi Akindele,Izu Ojukwu ,Omoni Oboli ,Kunle Afolayan and co make movies...These people belong to a different class like Amaka Igwe and Tade Ogidan.

I am not here to compare Igbo and Yoruba who is better but I hate lies. Somebody can not work all day to build something only for you to come and start claiming it.

The Nigerian movie industry known as Nollywood was started with the introduction of living in bondage produced by Okechukwu Ogunjioffor. You can rant all day online but you have a Yoruba movie industry ,Nollywood has no relationship with with theater nor soap opera. It was an independent idea of a suffering man born out of natural instinct.

How much do you know of Igbo history ?
British didnt install Eze Iweka, Eze Nri, Igwe Orizu, Eze Aro , Otoko na Eze Achalla and hundreds of other kings. They only install warrant chief in towns with a king with little influence while the original king kept his stool.

Before the whites arrived Igbo land we had what we call Eze Obodo/Eze Ani who were the custodians of the culture and traditions but they held little to no political power, just the might to enforce traditions.

Before the white men some of the popular kings in Igbo land were EZE NRI, OBI OF ONITSHA, EZE ARO, EZE IWEKA, IGWE ORIZU etc.

Beyond the traditional stool we have Nze na Ozo and Ndichie who deliberated on matter bothering the town. We didn't not operate monarchy system like Bini and others because of our Republican nature. We believe in the theory of onye fee Eze and Nwata kwochaa meaning we can all be kinds in our own right.

In Anambra we have the Nze na Ozo noble society which any rich and forthright man can join after rites. Our title men have a personal chamber called Obi/Obu/ Iba where the title man receives visitors. A title man doesn't live in nkpuke, the female quarters.

Igbos have very beautiful culture that is also marketable. We have some of the most beautiful traditions in Africa and I am being honest. That's why people love nollywood, its the Igbo culture . Igbo culture has brought fame to Nigeria. Igbo is a very wealthy and powerful tribe and our influence is just starting to gain ground after the brutal war that has held us behind while every tribe excelled.
