SerVik:Aina is erratic. Almost took our best defender out...smh |
tbaba1234:I will play Ogu ahead of Agbo and bring the later in the second half. Secondly, I will start Idowu ahead of Aina and let Shehu to keep growing in form. |
TheGoodJoe:What is his current form ? |
TheGoodJoe:Bros, forget that Oshaniwa matter. He just didnt measure up. Super Eagles is not a dumping ground for players who couldnt make it. |
Ekong is definitely the most improved Nigerian player in that match against the North Africans. His pace and timings put the opposing strikers in check and his passes were not sloppy as was the case before. Now, I am thinking an improved Ekong with our defense general,Balogun ,back to his best .....shiiiit, Phyno said OBAGO! The understanding in our central defense is almost telepathic. For me, our defense is ready. Midfield is inches away from getting there but our biggest worry is the attack. Without Ighalo we don't have a ready and trusted top 9 and this is reason why I believe Kayode should be given more chances. Iheanacho is not point man and you should have sense it against Algeria. He is better off as a SS . Nwakaeme is nowhere close to what we want our top 9 to play like. Moses Simon need to be very worried...Daalu nu. |
tbaba1234:Ogu is a better ball player with great aerial ability and can score ,too. In addition to these attributes he is equally a fighter just like Onazi |
Icon79:Go back and watch the match again without the initial tension with which you first watched it with. Ogu put in an impressive performance. I didnt see the match live but I saw the replay and did my scrutiny and I dont give easy credit and I confidently say Ogu was great against Algeria. |
tbaba1234:Yea, Balogun na correct gangsta ooo and I love that. NO NONSENSE GERMAN MENTALITY. Dude was about to drop somebody ,yesterday. I dont have problem with Balogun captaining the team because like you said he is a natural leader and a true warrior but John Ogu also has those qualities and has been in the team much longer than Balogun. I dont think Ekong was better than Shehu ,yesterday. |
tbaba1234:I am cutting him some slack but he need to pay attention and listen more. There was an unsafe clearance he made after Ekong told him to let off but he did it anyways. I didnt like that. Lets bear in mind that playing him out of his natural position will create some problems. |
Nwakaeme was not bad but he didnt post a memorable performance. I dont know if he is a winger or a striker. Kayode need to play more. Ekong improved from last game and I know the criticisms he got from previous games has a lot to do with it. However ,he still need to work on his ball handling. Balogun didnt play his best game but he wasnt poor. He remain one of our best legs and a strong character who you dare not mess with. I like Balogun but I feel Ogu should have captained the team. |
tbaba1234:That hasty clearances come from lack of confidence which comes from not having experience,Ekong is also guilty of this to some extent. |
Aina was questionable all through the game. He was good going forward and look strong in tackles but he was found in many occasion to be unstable. As it stands now I will start Echiejile until I see improvements on Aina. Shehu is growing tremendously with every single game he was one of the best on the field. He needs to drop that mr. nice guy demeanor sometimes. He even makes it hard for Ebuehi to see playing time...poor Ebuehi. |
Iheanacho was not a flop in that game and he is not a winger. I wish Rohr can play him just behind say Ighalo. His whip-ins were world class. I dont think VicMo should play set-pieces when Iheanacho is present. I also like the fact that his right foot is being challenged. Iwobi passing range is equally limited just like Ogu. Iwobi mostly play short passes and he doesnt have the flexibility and fluidity to play the attacking midfield role. And Iwobi is becoming predictable. He need to get to the next level. |
TheGoodJoe:Once more, you are very correct. I have played in a bumpy pitch and I know what it can do to flow of game. |
somehow:Aina ,truly wasn't great yesterday. He was a little nervous and needs to calm down but he is young and very strong too and hopefully can improve like Ekong has done. |
TheGoodJoe gave a well detailed and true review of this match. I don't understand why people are trying to shout him down. Nigerians are unbelievable---everybody is forming sports analyst...LMAO And yes, TheGoodJoe was correct John Ogu was very impressive giving the fact that he hasn't played for the SE in a minute. However, I will rather play him as a central or defensive midfielder because of his limited passing range. The pitch was in a very bad state and it hugely affected the flow of the game. There was a cross Iwobi was gonna send in but the ball bounced off an uneven ground and he lost control. The Eagles didn't play so badly after all, therefore I don't see the reason for all the badmouthing. When you add the fact that most of these guys are playing together for the first time and also that the match bears no importance to our world cup status then you can see we weren't bad. |
Amarabae:You don't know jack about Oseloka Obaze. Oseloka lack of voters card is why Obiano is the governor today. Oseloka is the brain behind Gov. Obi's success. Oseloka used to work for UNITED NATIONS, he is a very strong candidate and well spoken. Anambra is littered with intelligent people. |
BeijinDossier:Nwanna, anom ofum. Kedu maka oliaku na umuaka. I have been ignoring because its just exausting. |
komekn:Osimhen need to move to France,Belgium or Holland. Never liked our players featuring for German clubs. |
tbaba1234:Link a brother up,biko. |
tbaba1234:Be very careful bros, that might not be the real story. I heard the said girl Godwin rapped was not underage afteral. She was using a made up age to pass her as underage. On getting to France chica cleaned up and oga find better food for backyard....Madam flipped and called eke. Okpara couldnt prove she wasnt underage na there kasala burst. |
tbaba1234:Bros,where did you find the video of Nigeria vs Zambia ? I think somebody took it down from youtube. |
Chino atuo ka egbe..lol. Abeg, I don tire...Sleepy |
Abagworo:There are differences in dialects and other aspects of Igbo culture. There are obvious similarities because some of these Orlu towns migrated from Anambra and inter-marriage is very prevalent in that areas. |
Abagworo:Why did your governor change Adadioramma to Adadiohamma ? |
Abagworo:Imo is older than Anambra in the sense that the most developed and seat of the power on old Imo was carved into the new one, thereby making the newly created state to retain the major structures of government. I am not here to compare Imo and Obodo nnaa. I have since exaust myself of the headache right when your governor stated he is pouring 70% of Imo budget in Owerri. Okorocha is not very intelligent but he has good taste. |
Adadiohamma instead of the more popular Ada di ora mma. Ndi Anambra ,you will be a ffool if you keep writing chere, were, ihuru, wetara and all these strange Igbo dialects that doesnt bear your identity. Believe it or not I will never buy that Igbo unity bullcrap. I will fight till Igbo Izugbe nonsense is scapped from our Anambra schools. Nobody can use trick to trample on Anambra noble and prestigious culture. Oma mme! |
Abagworo:lol..Nwokem, noo nwayo biko. This is still the indefatigable Odenigbo Aroli! Did you just say I dont knwo what is Nze na Ozo ? Why have you refused to change from your evil ways, Abagworo....My uncle is an Agbalanze, most male in my family has Ozo and my grandmother is Nnebuenyi( Nwanyi gbalu odu ukwu na aka). I know too much about our noble Nze na Ozo and I have witnessed the ceremony too many a time. Abagworo ,you are from Ugwuta and from your history you dont have the OZO institution just like most Imo towns ,especially Owerri ,Mbaise,Mbano and their surrounding towns. Only few towns in Imo state has the prestigious culture of Nze na Ozo . Yes ,Igba Ijele, Ofala, Igba Odu, Igba akwunechenyi are all Igbo culture because these beautiful cultures can only be found in Igbo land but we can all agree that not all Igbo towns/state observe this culture. I know every step of Nze na Ozo rites and the food cooked on that day which we call nni ocha which is the main dish. I know the sound of ufie wooden gong, ekwe , and I can dance it. Please, dont say what you dont know....Anambra own Nze na Ozo and the mbuluchi Nri spread the culture. And no,Nnewi , Aguata, Anaocha, Ihiala, Ekwusigo and Orumba has nothing in common with Ndi Imo and stop spread lies. I know how Awgbu, Amaokpala and Umunze sound, a bit like Awka. Nnewi , Orsumenyi, Ichi and Amichi speaks a peculiar dialect. And please dont touch Anaocha, Aguata where Oliver and Theresa Onuora hail from...You are quite strange ,Abagworo...lol Ihiala, Orsumoghu ,Uli and Mgbidi sound alike but that is understandable because of their proximity but still they are just as Anambra as Nsugbe is. The state has been created and I know you feel all the good stuff is packed in Anambra but that is destiny. Anambra bu isi Igbo and every Igbo person need to respect that. I am not here to argue with you but to flip your lies. Abagworo, I am yet to see you celebrate Imo culture but you are always lurking around to poke your nose in Anambra culture.... Osita Osadebe says...Onye nwe okpa kpoo ya okpa nkpokolo agbataobi ewelia kpoo ntu. If you dont respect your culture nobody will. Your northern raised governor is running around giving chieftaincy titles to people with questionable character, thereby selling Igbo culture for penny....nakwa echeki! |
Abagworo:Nze na Ozo got to northern Imo through people in southern Anambra. Even a core Aro town like Arondizuogu has Nze na Ozo. The red cap got to the Omanbala chiefs who took the Ozo title during 18 century through Igala merchants who sold it specifically to the title men and those with ichi scarification. It spread to other areas with Ozo titles and similar like Enuani. As at 1980s every Igbo with red hat definitely has Nze na Ozo. Ozo men carry a hand fan with their name weaved on the leather fan with which they exchange the noble greetings. In Anambra you will be hard pressed to find any man with a red hat who doesnt have Ozo title, especially in Omanbala,Idenmili, Awka, Njikoka, Ifitedunu,Ogbaru ,Onicha,Anaocha, Ekwusigo and Nnewi. The red cap is a sacred cultural item of the Anambra people but today every tom and diick is wearing one. Rivers people, formerly, wore fedora hat that white men gave to them in exchange for their slave runs... Ndi Ikwerre enwero ako na uche. This is not the first time you are mentioning this your Duru and Oha title but we dont even know what they are but I know one thing, they are not Nze na Ozo title. Nze na Ozo comes through your lineage thats why we can never give a foreigner an Ozo title. You can get the typical honorary title for your philanthropy. |
Ndi Imo and their empty culture. Every single one of the wears the red hat and they don't even have Nze na Ozo. |
See embarrassment. See reason why I kick against wooing of this foreign born players. Just listen to this nigga,Tammy. |
