Good list especially for giving home based chance but Omeruo, Agbo,Alampasu missing, any reason.
Omeruo took a dip in form. Alampasu and Agbo were oversight.

Then that your ideology, I am sorry to say, is a devilish one.

That is not what my Christian faith has taught me.
My Bible preaches tolerance and repentance to all men. If a man has refused to repent from his evil ways then leave him to God to judge.

Violence is not the way bro.
The Christian faith destroyed your morals and principles ,reasons why your country is an example for a corrupt society....Stop being too religious ,nwokem.

Well, when I saw this I wanted to address it sharply but I felt I should read through the comments down to the last before this and I saw that no one directly addressed this smouldering piece filled with violence. So I will take it upon myself to do so because I enjoy this thread so much. It's like a house. It should be kept clean and safe.

First, safarigirl take note that when forgiveness made damning accusations against Rohr, several monikers including me called him out on it. He was not spared. This too will not be spared.
Now @all, I trust you guys read this blood curdling, murderous and toxic words from omanbala1. This is totally unacceptable and must be strongly condemned particularly more so that you were called to order by junnyjake and tglobal when you called forgiveness mentally sick and still you went ahead to pour such hateful, vicious words on him. If he's tribalistic, then you are also one whose heart is filled with hate and bitterness. Infact as per the bolded you are a potential murderer. We should not condone such attacks against anyone.

Apart from Rohr whom forgiveness unjustifiably attacked, he's been carrying on his wailings on the absence of Kayode with the air of one who has lost something precious(at least that's how he sees the situation) he's not insulted anybody here. Allow him his views. Outlandish, far-fetched, unreasonable - but there are his views. Counter them, even ridicule them but let's respect each other, respect the man.
And NO, I will not join hands to further your totalitarian call that we join hands with you to beat him down because there's room in my world, indeed in this world for men like him. Even God/nature cherishes variety and I don't want to live in that dumb world where everyone is a Yes man. The man below looks like forgiveness. I respect such men
Firstly, my moniker is in caps.

Now, what exactly did I do wrong here. I rebuked a known bigot and you went and wrote a damn book ,my nigga! Like I said, we must stop bigotry for Nigeria to move forward. See, I am a realist and I don't sugarcoat when I see a wrong. The only way you are gonna kill bigotry and corruption in Nigeria is to put a death sentence to it. Put a death sentence to it!!

Your buddy Forgiveness has a mental disease and is not fit to live and converse with human....Cant you see his reasoning ? He want his Yoruba tribesmen in the team whether they are good or not....Thats not an intelligent human.

I am too full of my African pride to beg some little English born who bows to a white woman to come play for Nigeria...Pathetic.
And why would you want to reap where you didnt sow ? If I was England I will make law forbidding our home grown players from switching nationality. African are so lazy!! Are black really INFERIORS ?? This is disappointing, forgiveness. Impugning on someone else's character (both Chidi and Rohr) just to make your point. You have accused Rohr (who has gone months without pay) of being corrupt with no tangible proof. You have no record of money changing hands, no phone calls, no record of anyone saying Rohr has received bribe.....

These are grave allegations you are making against someone who could easily be your father and another who could be your younger brother. People doing their best to succeed in their chosen profession and you come out to make this accusation against them based on hearsay or the thrill Nigerians get for highlighting how "corrupt" we are? The fact that you have no qualms making false accusations against these men is a serious cause for concern. For someone who always requests for concrete facts for any counterclaim to your points, I think the onus is on you to provide verifiable facts in this case to be credible. At least you need no fear any backlash since you are anonymous (well not completely anonymous)

The internet is a force for both good and evil. Some use it to promote good, while others use it to "bear false witness against their neighbor". I am sure you have your own chosen profession for which you would not take lightly, any false accusations made against you simply because your accusers are not reasoning in the same wavelength. You may not take what you've done here seriously, but know that it is planting a seed of mistrust in the minds of people about honest hardworking men. You need to make a decision on whether you want to be a force for bringing people up or manufacturing accusations to have the upper hand.

It costs nothing to make accusations...Jesus enemies did the same when they couldn't explain his power. Be very careful so that the measure you use on others will not be used against you!

I am so happy Rohr didn't listen to people like you by inviting kayode who to me is "blunt" striker ie striker wey no sharp, striker wey no sabi score goals just like his brother in crime Ideye.

It baffles me that you don't know that Kayode is not the type of striker you hope to deliver you when you are losing 2 nil with the time running down, and I am tempted to think that your sense judgment of a player's ability is flawed, either that or what you are doing is a premeditated calculated attempt at imposing incompetent players on us.

Infact I want to believe that you are an agent and have collected money from these below par players with a promise of a slot into SE and now that your mission is not achieved, you are beginning to scream blue murder!

I won't be surprised that it was your type that fostered the likes of Rueben Gabriel, Ajagun, Uchebo, Babatunde on keshi at 2014 WC spoiling our eyes with that dirty display at the Mundial while you smiled to the bank. Be careful, because right now I am beginning to suspect you.

I mean look at the players you are suggesting that Rohr invites to the SE, Martins, Taiye Taiwo, Kayode, Onuoha, Raheem, etc all mediocres. Don't you have eyes to spot a good footballer?... Or you are just being mischievously stupid?

Now you are foaming from both sides of your mouth because your paid players are not invited.

With the performances of Ezenwa so far, if given the chance you will rather drop him for Alampasu and Ajiboye...Guy behave o!

Making sound decisions and judgments in football matters does not equate to shouting upandan on nairaland and littering our phone screens with lopsided mentions.

In conclusion, I will call on other sensible members of this thread to stand up against people like @forgiveness who only have their own selfish interest at heart at the expense of the overall success of the Super Eagles.

So far we all have done a good job at keeping people like him at bay but the battle is not won yet until the final 23 list for the world Cup is drafted and mediocres{like his suggestions} are far away from it.
This post sweet die...lol

In the world of blind men a one eyed man is a hero. I will wait for Harry Kane to move a little higher before I will take him serious. Granted he is a prolific score in a middle team premiership but he will flop in a balanced team like Arsenal,Man City,Chelsea or Man United. He is a typical English player like Alan Shearer. Even Rooney is more technical than Kane. Kane is strong ,fast and has great instincts for goal opportunities but he is not Aguero,Cavani, nor Lewandoski. Then again I have prejudice for English player...I think dont work a sshhit. Sorry guys,I dont like that country, their throne or what they stand for.

Why not, lets throw the camp open and choose the best legs like we do with under 17. Invite everybody including Onobi,Ajagun,Lawal,Olofinjana,Mutiu Adepoju, Ajibade Babalade and my whole kindred and destroy the whole process just because I have deep seated insecurity.

And if that didnt work lets invite my clan members in England like Adarabioyo,Solanke, Lukman an co and see if they can use English clout to break into the team just so my inferiority complex can be fixed.

Listen up everybody, you must learn to ignore unreasonable comments ,except if you want to make fun of these elements of division.
Super Eagle has a unit we are working with and the dumbest thing to do is to start attracting unfamiliar faces who will bring their own ego just because they are veterans. I love this current Super Eagles more that the other set for one thing we dont have egotistic elements in this team.

Mikel is very calm and matured
Onazi is very humble and matured
Ighalo is not even sure if he is a sure starter
Balogun is very focused and disciplined
Iwobi,Iheanacho and Aina are like little kids who play in the sand
Ndidi seems to have strong character but he can be benched anytime
VicMo doesnt have the pull to generate conflicts
The rest are just there and dont care for power that much....Abdulahi na correct Malam,Echiejile is very worried,Simon Moses is very dispensable,Ekong knows we are watching like vultures, Ogu has pull but he will have to wait to start playing...lol

My point is dont mess this good thing we have going on..Daalu nu.

One thing you want to avoid at this moment is distraction from old players who are not part of the process. Leave the team they way it is and just add to what you have. Obafemi Martins is an old story same with Osaze,Emenike, Ambrose and Taiye Taiwo.

I don't know why people engage certain characters here and try to take them serious. Some body who think Tiago Ilori should be invited to replace Omeruo....Very unserious.

Eagles star Moses Simon reveals why he is firing again in Belgium

By admin -
October 25, 2017, 4:13 pm

Moses Simon is firing again with Belgian club KAA Gent – 3 goals, 2 assists in the last 3 matches – and he has revealed this is so because he is doing less defending under a new coach.

Moses Simon took Belgian league by storm when he joined Gent in January 2015 from Slovak champions AS Tencin, but lately he appears to struggle to get back to such form.

The 22-year-old flying winger himself has given reasons for his new-found form.

He said under sacked coach Hein Vanheizebrouck he was forced to defend a lot more and that affected what he could offer upfront, but that is not the case with new coach Yves Vanderhaeghe.

“I previously had to defend more and that affected how I attacked,” he revealed.

“But the new coach has asked for more action upfront.

“That’s what we need and that’s what can win us games.

“So now if they put three men on me, (Samuel) Kalu will be free and if they put three men on him, I will be free.”

http://scorenigeria.com.ng/2017/10/25/eagles-star-moses-simon-reveals-why-he-is-firing-again-in-belgium/

That same coach is coaching Henry now so let us see how things go.
This nigga needs to chill and think straight. Like hommie you scored 2 goals from the penalty spot and now you think you have just killed a lion with bare hands. Attacking input ZERO!

Somebody needs to drill it into this boy's head that his right foot is not diseased. The coaches he works with need to tell him to shoot with whichever foot the ball lands.

You will not always get the chance to switch legs...you will encounter merciless defenders that will not give you enough breathing space to move even less switch the position of the ball, he needs to stop second guessing himself and just shoot

The day Kelechi scores with his right foot, I will celebrate like he won a Ballon d'Or
He couldn't have scored with his right feet from where he took the shot. And you have to understand he is under pressure to prove himself. 28 million dollars nobi garanut.
I believe as time passes and he become settled his confidence will grow and that will lead to trying new tricks like attempting to shoot with his right feet.

Exactly Bro. Midfield interplay to the box. Infact with that he'd score more goals from outside provided the ball falls on his stronger foot cos he's good at curlers.
If given the playing time Kelechi is probably one of the most dangerous players in the 18 yard box but he is not a natural point man because he doesnt have the stamina. He need to work with what he has, even if they start you as a point man drop deep and exchange passes to open the game up. He is more of a playmaker than a striker.

lol this is really a funny comment. To your question, yes we have a team that can stand toe to toe with Germany, Spain etc. Football is a game of 11 players.. most of those European teams you mentioned may not qualify if pitted against Cameroon, algeria and Zambia. FYI no team is ready for world cup yet, we are just in preparatory stage and will get better before the mundial, but that's not a yardstick to insinuate we don't have a team. You are looking down on these guys, but you will be shocked later on. Besides, the game against Zambia was an important decider so the players where a bit jittery, believe me even Brazil would struggle against zambia in such situations.. Remember it took Kane's individual brilliance to score the goal that took England to Russia against tiny Scotland.. If we repeat that Zambia match now, the soreline would surprise you.
There is nothing funny about the comment, you must have a weird sense of humor. My whole point is that we are not well prepared ,some of these guys just started playing together recently.

you are talking like someone who has never watched a football game?

If you catch a great team on a bad day, you will defeat them, stars or not.
My example might not be ideal but it doesnt take the fact away that we are still building a team that is yet to blend fully.

And your comment about playing a great team on their bad day is an isolated incidence,it doesnt happen always. Which mean whenever you play Germany you would pray they are on their bad day. Not realistic.

This is why I don't like labels to be pinned on anyone. But did you notice how the goal came? I don't know what position he played but you can see that some other Leicester player had driven forward, keeper tried to clear, Iheanacho came from deep and scored. This is his natural position as in playing behind the main CF.
This is what Kelechi should be doing. Stop lurking around the 18 yard box hoping to catch in on a loose ball and prove a point, thats not his natural style. Kelechi is a natural build-up player with great instinct for goal. His style is play with the midfield until you get to the 18 box and then you unleash your instincts thats his style. He is not a point man. His pass accuracy is great.
