Kobojunkie:I don't live in Nigeria too, I just returned from Nigeria 2 weeks ago and I can't find anything on the ground especially in the SS, SE and SW that Buhari is a strong contestant, only the diasporans in the US are trying to make Buhari a strong contestant on NL not here in Europe where I am. From the preparation I saw Buhari will be defeated and will still be heading to the court that he was rigged. Justice Salami can't wuru wuru for him anymore. |
The non performing GEJ and PDP have been on the campaigne train for months telling us how they would change the country, and the useless Buhari who want my vote is still sitting in his village without any meaningful explanation to convince me 'how' he would effect changes, I don't believe in his Dodan Barrack record, he should get his aaaassss about and running or else he will graduate from another university of electoral life, or wait till 2055 to win an election. . Character assassination don't win election, well atticulated campaigne does. ![]() |
Are there differences in style of leadership and transformation? |
Its an absolute nonsense to pay such a crazy exorbitant price for a concert even if they were an international stars, I just bought a ticket to see Usher OMG tour in sportpaleis in Antwerp in march and it cost me only 58Euro's ( Nigerians organizers only knows how to rip people of their hard earned money. silly idiots. |
(afp/mvl) Its report the stampede incident in PH, GEJ has been getting positive reports and profiling in the news here anyway. http://www.demorgen.be/dm/nl/990/Buitenland/article/detail/1221737/2011/02/13/Elf-Nigerianen-doodgeplet-tijdens-verkiezingsmeeting.dhtml |
Kobojunkie:Hahahaha! keep your ranting to yourself, such don't work on me and i don't live in your world, If illusion2 for example made an interesting selection I expect it to be honoured over yours. |
Kobojunkie:Naaa waaooo! is kobojunkie anyway a.k.a Aisha2 or just attempting a palace coup? |
When would Nigerians start learning to use their heads more than their mouths in issues concerning Nigeria's politic?. |
This poster is a daft. shiiiiiit licker or something. has he been to Europe at all? |
If the floating cities project is realisable, I urge him to do it afterall the money have been coming from the ND, so its their own money, period. Who have problem with that could go hang him/herself. |
Obasanjo refused to grease his hand , u know now? ![]() |
illusion2:I sometime wonder myself why other interesting post that don't originate from Jarusland not pinned to the top in boardroom focus on discussing Nigeria, is he aspiring to become NL Mubarak or something? |
The much awaited presidential primaries has come and gone, now that we know the candidates and their running mates, I have perused the profiles of the challenging candidates hoping to upstage the incumbent and concluded the election will not be mathematically, logically and demografically competitive as we much expected. The popularity of GEJ created by Nigerians themselves and his ability to cut across all divides has reduced his challengers to underdogs. Even if u take the power of incumbency and rigging away he will still win the coming election. GEJ and his PDP may not be a spectacular combination but that does'nt mean they can not change, afterall change is the process of becoming different and won't just happen in a short time. So I'm waiting to see the legacy his leadership would bring. |
Beaf:Amoebae Proteus , e don tey wey I hear that word, mmmm grammar school good ooo, ![]() |
We now know all the bribe cry was an attempt to score cheap political point, Bakare go soon shiiiittt for church. |
Abeg leave matter, Bakare don poo for church. ![]() |
Beaf:As fake as he is, is trying to play messiah in the waiting?, I weep when I see Nigerians waisting precious hours in church listen these con men who called themselves pastors, praying as if God will send angel Micheal to solve our problems, I believe more in the power of wisdom and careful planning to solve problems than expecting some miracle that will never come. Those that think this is Gods calling is foul foul foul, this is pure 'Egunje's Calling'. I wonder if he can win his congregation like Atiku lost in Adamawa ( abi Adamam waaaooo) . |
Most Nigeria pastors if not all are super fake and Tunde Bakare is not an exception, The man is after the Money and nothing else, If he has succeded deceiving some people here, he aint fooling me at all. |
@ Poster, If u can start the fight we will follow u behind, how about that? |
America is always about crime, all u see and hear on the news is about crime and guns, The place is good tho for holidaying especially places like Florida, Texas and Los Angeles I frequent, but living there would be a nightmare, I prefer my Europe base, America is just about mere yo! yo! yo!. |

How Jonathan shunned S/S govs, aide over Kuku Written by Donald Ojogo Sunday, 30 January 2011 The lull in the Federal Government’s post amnesty initiative, following the resignation of its erstwhile handler, Timi Alaibe came to an end on Wednesday, as President Goodluck Jonathan approved the appointment of an Ijaw youth leader, Hon Kingsley Kuku as his Special Adviser on Niger Delta Matters. But the appointment of the former Ondo State lawmaker did not come on a platter of gold as President Jonathan was said to have shunned two South-South governors as well as a top presidential aide in their bid to have their preferred person to replace Alaibe who in December last year, resigned from his position to contest the gubernatorial election in Bayelsa State on the platform of the Labour Party (LP). An authoritative security source told Sunday Tribune in confidence that President Jonathan was said to have made up his mind to divorce the position from partisan politics owing to the volatile nature of the Niger Delta region. Repentant leader of the defunct Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND), High Chief Government Ekpomupolo as well as his sector commander, according to the source, equally advised against politicising the position of the post-amnesty driver, as they were said to have insisted that it should be taken away from the key states of Bayelsa, Rivers and Delta in order to avoid needless interference from politicians. The two governors, in conjunction with an aide of the president, Sunday Tribune gathered, had initially pushed for the appointment of a former president of the Ijaw Youth Council (IYC) who is an aide of a chief executive officer of a federal government - owned agency but changed gear when it became apparent that the idea did not fly. Consequently, they were said to have settled for a former senator from Bayelsa State who served in the upper legislative chamber from 1999 to 2007. According to the source: “You know that the post- amnesty programme is a very critical issue which requires all dexterity. We thank God that the issue of the replacement of the former occupier has been settled with the appointment of that young man from Ondo State. “Like any appointment, there were a lot of intrigues here and there but Mr President was prepared to take away the issue of post-amnesty from the politics of the region; you know what happened during the disarmament period where people took advantage of the programme to boost their political chances. “This time around, I think Mr President succeeded in pulling it away from the forces of the region because he said anyone appointed should not only have a vast knowledge of the region but must equally be divorced from the intrigues of the region. “So, proper vetting was carried out on some of those who showed interest in the job but the proper thing has to be done. For instance, if the president wanted to play politics with it, he would have merely taken one of the nominees from two of the governors from the region who had the backing of a close aide. “And from the look of things, the ex-militants themselves are very desirous of peace as they insisted on a non-partisan individual to handle the post amnesty and the lot fell on Kuku who has been involved in the entire disarmament process since 2009. “They made their inputs to the government which were very genuine and patriotic in all aspects and they followed up to ensure that the position did not go to a politician who could be easily influenced by his sponsors. They opposed the position going to Rivers, Bayelsa and Delta but unanimously went for Ondo State where Kuku comes from, in order to distance the post-amnesty programme from politics.” Efforts to reach Ekpomu-polo, usually referred as Tompolo, were not successful but his aide, Paul Bebenimibo spoke to Sunday Tribune. “The matter is a very sensitive matter, so, everyone must have to do what is right for the region if we have to live in peace in the Niger Delta. Whether or not the ex-militants played a role in the appointment of Kuku is not important. What we should find out is whether he is competent to handle the issue of postamnesty without political interference from any quarters”, he said. |

Ma_J_Blige:Some people on here that claimed to be in advanced countries just side in the comfort of their homes to make unless comparism, non of them ever leave their home to take part in community discussion to have an idea how their community works, dont expand their networks of friends and like minds, never hoop on the plane to visit other countries to see things for themselves. U always find them in the same Nigerians setup discussing Nigeria based on "hear says", I see them in places like Gazenhoff and Bijmermeer in The Netherlands and Antwerp in Belgium, I'm not against associating with Nigerians, but I find it wise the expand ones network of friends and associates beyond your boundries to have an idea how others live and develope. If u ask them for example how transportation here is developed they dont even have a clue. they just answer it's superb. |
