Then "Life After Death" was certified diamond meaning over 10mil copies cos I saw someone wrote down 5mil
I agree it sold 5m in America alone in its first year, but we have some JJC into the rap world on Nairaland, throughout the 90's who was Jay Z when we have the likes BIG, 2PAC, DMX, NAS, Missy, Foxy Brown, Lil Kim, Eric Sermon, Keith Murray, Wu Tan Clan, Snoop Dog, Dr Dre, Ice Cube etc,

It got to a period when Jay Z was releasing albums every year, it was shocking,

Boys, I just found a 10 minutes documentary about the cew on youtube. This is not Nollywood as we thought. They are serious Hollywood film makers. Watch this
Its not even Hollywood either, it seems like the producer wants to use the movie to launch his career, using a Nigerian epic story as a test case

Look for pic of normal people then you would see the beauty in Nigerian women, not those who sit on their high horse looking down their nose at people thinking that everything starts and ends with them
Travel › Re: White Nigerian Stopped At Paris Airport by omar22(m): 1:07pm On Nov 04, 2009
Me and cousin were grilled and even locked up in Italy because we were carrying a British passport. we managed to get hold of the British High Commission in Italy who came to our rescued!
what horrible experience we then pushed for compensation, at the end they only offered us 3000 euros each plus 2 return tickets each to Nigeria FREE to be used before the end of 1999

A lawyer advised us that we should reject the offer that he could get us more, close to £100000, but I was prepared to through those hassles but looking back with hindsight, may be I should had squeezed the Italians balls,

lmao @ this thread.

and @ omar22
im sorry we dont happen to look like that biased country called india or we dont look like latin americans.
im sorry, its not our fault, its the way God made us.
@Amaka

What am trying to say here is that, once upon a time,  My jaw would have dropped to the floor because of the beauty of these Nigerian actresses, but I have had the opportunity to broaden my horizon and seen so many actresses around the world, and am sorry, but when it comes to beauty Nigerian actresses dont stand a chance against the colleagues around the world.

I have seen beautiful Nigerians ladies on the streets of Lagos, Benin, Abuja etc which I feel could stand toe to toe with anyone around the world but when we move from the ordinary world to the Celebrity world, then it becomes a case of Halle Berry vs Genevieve or Omotola vs Tracy Bingham,  its a no contest,

They are beautiful ladies in Nigeria but most of them are not in the entertainment industry. 2 years ago I bumped into Rita Dominic at Shoprite and I stopped her and I said to her that I know her, because I remembered the face but I couldnt say where! but she gave me a dirty look, then she walked away 5 minutes later thats when I remembered that she was a Nollywood actress, 2 months later I bumped into her again in a night club in London, after an hour I walked up to her and spoke to her and asked her does she remembers me, she said no then I juggled her memory, the she said was that me? she then appologised, she was so humble, may be because she's in an enviroment that has so many beautiful ladies than her, nobody cares about her status in Nigeria over here in England,  I wanted to tell her that she doesnt need to look down her nose at people, because I do go clubs host top America celebs and they dont treat people like s#it,

Music/Radio › Re: If Notorious B.I.G. Was Alive: Would Jay-z Be King? by omar22(m): 4:38pm On Nov 03, 2009
Jay Z is only big because of his clothing empire and not because of his rap skills

None of his Album has yet to out sell BIG or Tupac's Album

I would pick DMX ahead of him when it comes to rapping

I have never seen so many ugly women under one topic, if these are the best Nollywood has to present then God help us,  When you look at the Bollywood babes they take beauty to another level then we talk about Hollywood or the Latin American movie industry, they put the B into Beauty,

I saw some pictures it seems like Halloween came early this year, please you guys stop the horror show, its getting scary

"She's an A-list actress. She has lately endeared herself to a lot of people with her mind movie, "through the glass" which she shot, produced and directed in HOLLYWOOD.
But as she strives to leave her footprints in d sand of time, there are indication that she is currently in hot romance with a GREEK.
The Greek runs a multi-national company on the Lagos Island and was learnt that many actresses troop to his office where apples and cash change hands.
Also learnt that the Greek has made it a habit to take Stephanie to an upscale restaurant on Victoria Island for lunch wit bills running into thousands of Naira" - punch
and your point is?

Do you think its a wrong move?

Fashion › Re: Why Do Nigerian Girls Wear Jeans Without Pants? by omar22(m): 4:58pm On Nov 02, 2009
I have stopped wearing pants period,  may be boxers once a while but you need the private part to breath and move freely not locked away,

most ladies would wear G-strings or thongs or nothing for the same reason the place need air just to keep it fresh and not smelling of sweat,
TV/Movies › Re: Biafran War Epic Movie To Cost $10m by omar22(m): 4:45pm On Nov 02, 2009
They suck.
I won’t say they suck but I have seen Nollywood acting, posing, eye rolling, bragging and they have to act as if they are in the 60’s which is a very big challenge this is why I said the Hollywood actors would be drafted in and you cant have someone with a very strong accent because you want people to understand what they are saying…

There is nothing you enjoy in Europe or American that i dont enjoy the equivalent here in Naija. I dare you to mention it.
Lets compare the Lagos Ibadan expressway which I believe was completed in 1977 or 1978, to the M1 motorway which completed in 1959

Make your judgement
