This is wonderful. The documetary is so self explanatory. Like the Hollywood actor said in their, I will not call this Nollywood film but a Nigerian film. I cant waite for this film to be made. I will buy tickets for everyone I know to see it> This is us now going to Hollywood

Thats my thought all along because if they really push the boat out for the movie it could easily attract nomination for academy awards but the budget of $10m is too small

(1) Nobody knows the actual budget for the movie, nobody knows who is funding the movie, and nobody knows who the producer, director and most important the executive producers,  Then we talk about chorographer, costume manager, film editor, because until you know all these people, you can’t really say much about the movie.
(2) I asked yesterday is it going to be a Nollywood or Hollywood movie, everyone said it’s definitely going to be a Nollywood movie but do we know who is funding the project? The Director? Or Producer?
(3) The critical part, everyone here wants the movie to be as real as possible! Cool!!! my honest opinion, am yet to see a Nigerian filmmaker that could pull such movie off, we are talking about a war movie, not a genocide or a coupe, it’s a war movie which would require a lot of shooting, bomb blast, missiles plans (war ship) armour tanks, grenades etc. are we still convinced that Nollywood could pull it off? I doubt it! Then we have 2 characters that would sell the movie WORLDWIDE!!! These 2 characters would play Ojukwu and Gowon, you could get away with one Nollywood actor taking one of the roles, but not definitely not both of them, I honestly believe that actors and actresses would be drafter in from all over the world.
(4) Film site: I also think that the movie should be shot somewhere in East Africa! Its has a bigger open space to shoot a movie and it would be cheaper and you wont need any Government interference or the problems from the delta region.

but i only see more ethnic tension with this movie because of course one side will be displease, like always.

to answer number 1, it should be Nollywood of course.
if we wanna start getting some REAL international recognition on our movie industry we should produce GREAT movies from our own pockets and from our own land.
they should make it kinda like "Saving Private Ryan" i love that movie!! its so real and you feel everything and see everything as if you were there.
well thats where money might be a problem.  
to answer the rest of your questions, it should be a YES YES YES!!

The reason why i asked

Question 1,  I know they do Premier Nollywood movies down here in England, which is a bonus, I dont know about America,  Nigeria would be home videos which would be the downside. in making a huge return on the movie,

Question 2 ,  to tell the story as it is, this would attract so many red tapes and would it stir up any hatred amoung the tribes in Nigeria

Question 3 ,  To tell the story as it it,  it has to be filmed somewhere else

Question 4 ,  The movie budget would determine how far, because of the actors and actress would have to help promote the movie world wide

My questions

1) Is it going to be a product of Hollywood or Nollywood?
2) is it going to be a true story or fixtion with just the basic part of the biafran war?
3) Would it be filmed in Nigeria or not?
4) Would all the casting crew be Nigerian

Using USA as an example is poor because you would hardly find a stadium that belongs to the Government they are all owned but the NFL clubs, colleges, baseball or soccer clubs

The Host country decides were they want to play their group games NOT FIFA, most host nation play at their national stadium because they are big enough to hold the national support,

When England hosted Euro 96 why did they play all their games at Wembley and not Anfield
When France host the 98 world, they played all their game at the Stade de France
When Nigeria hosted the WYC in 99 we played all the group games in Lagos
