Though with his flaws, just like every other human, Obasanjo has done alot for the survival of this country as we know it. That Paris Club debt relief and the successful deregulation of the telecoms industry (as opposed to what we have with electricity) along with other legacies of his which we still enjoy to this day, bear testament to that fact.

Don't know why, but regardless of his anti Buhari posture, I still got a soft spot for him. I don't see myself ever insulting the gentleman.

Let them sort out their differences.

I have spoken with some of my brothers and sisters in the Abiola family. They are truly grateful and very happy that the President looked in their direction after suffering in silence for 25 agonising years.

Right hers is ALL THAT REALLY MATTERS.

Just don't understand why this simple act of kindness seems to be causing such anger amongst a particular group of people.

I stand to be corrected, but I think these are intercity or interstates. From what I know such roads are HARDLY accompanied with drainage.. Water is just allowed to follow their natural course.

Today, technology have given us a weapon powerful enough to end life as we know it by just the flick of a button, I doubt religion have ever being that powerful or threatening throughout history.

Let us be objective, anything can be misused and abused given the wrong application, technology and religion are suitable examples.

The damages dont seem to have been caused by rain itself, but by gale force winds.

Had the rain fallen just as heavy but without the wind that accompanied it, I doubt the damages would have been this severe.

Take it or leave it, Buhari has done what self acclaimed "democrats" have failed to do over 25 long years!

Be it for political reasons or otherwise, buttom line is he's pacified the ghost of that unfortunate incident of '93 to a large extent, an act for which the immediate family and constituency of the recipient have expressed their gratitude.

Should Buhari fix the security challenges we face, especially within Middle Belt states, 2019 would be a walk in the park for him.

Long live Nigeria and God bless all those who bless her.
