This is the kind of 'goodwill' gesture laced with all the trapings of evil. How many of the almajeris or beggers in the states under their control have they been able to help? Oshiomole goofed no doubt, but the desperate desire of the pdp to politicize the incident leaves a sour taste in the mouth and shows how petty they can be. They should take him up on policy issues and not some unfortunate isolated incident in which the governor allowed his emotions to get the best of him. If we were to list the attrocities of like nature perpertrated by the pdp, we run the risk of winding up with huge blisters on our thumbs. |
eluquenson: He shouldn't just seat there and say sorry...He did not offend us or d public. He has to go and find d woman and apologize to her...give her a new life so that her heart will weep no more!Endorsed 100% |
astronautog: lol that video spread like wide fire even my grandpa phoned me and was swearing 4 oshio on the phone!!!It is ''wild'' not wide. |
hypenation: ASUU leaders are terrorist under the control of the opposition party! They will do anytin to hinder and destroy our education system. GEJ should disolve the association if he really want to put an end to this strikeWhy dont you go disolve it yourself?? If you sack the profs, Assoc. Profs, and Drs, who are you gonna replace them with, graduate assistants? Wike is an uneducated thug who knows not the composition of a staff of universities hence his ill informed statement ystday. This man would cause more harm than good to the president. |
ochejoseph: Count me InHere we go!! Pls dont corrupt this thread by politicizing it. Thank you. |
dapachez: Will try and locate her tomorrow then give a feedback.I just hope they don't go after her. This is the worst thing a man of Oshiomole's standing can do,its so damn disppointing to say the least. He needs to be groomed on how to act in public. Smh for himHe must be made to tender a public apology for what he said. |
Tintinix: This is a noble act I agree, but without consequence to the state government.Sue the govt for what exactly ![]() |
As far as it's genuine, i'm all in. |
Like Oyinlola/Tukur/pdp national secretaryship, like Nsirim/Amaechi/Obio Akpor chairmanship! Good move! Feed them with their own medication! |
timbros: Na wao.... So bullet go enter motor cum stil scratch de body go one side. That na otumokpo bullet! |
bigx: it would be very shameful if the Presidency has to publicly associate with a known criminalYou must be a visitor to this country, welcome. Well, sir, i regret to inform you hobnobing with criminals is one of our govt's halmark. They have gone as far as granting national security contracts worth billions to criminals. It is anything but shameful to them. Once more welcome to Nigeria. |
ROSSIKE: Will they still be ''good questions'' in a year or two's time when power is drastically improved?Oh sweet mushrooms!! So he has to wait for a year or two to ask questions when all we've been inundated with since the sham excercise is sheer darkness In the other thread, jonathan,in 2010, talked about putting an end to the use of generators in 2011, but three years on what do we have? The budgetary expenditure on maintaining the generators in Aso Villa has more than doubled over the years and there seems to be no end in sight to the problems! You guys keep shifting the goalpost, soon, i have no doubt, it will end up outside the stadium! |
taharqa: @Gbawe, SHUT UP!!! Just SHUT UP, abeg. Biko..@taharqueer, is this the best you can do ![]() |
Israelmossaic: If ASUU demands compulsory payment of 5 months salary arrears, who will commpensate the students for the wasted months? There are what we call labour laws in Nigeria. Feel free to educate yourself. |
cephaswizzy: That man de mad. GOVT don try 4 demDo you mind telling us what the govt has done? It really pains my heart when i read some of the things posted by suposed university students here. What we have as universities frankly speaking are not even good enough for secondary schools. You atend a lecture sitting on windows or standing outside if you dont show up fast enough to grab one of the few spaces available. Go to the science depts and see the empty buildings they have for labs! The engeneering depts dont fare any better. And so also are the info tech depts where you find computers (if any) runing on old outdated softwares! What about the students accomodation facilities that would pass for a prison facility in uganda? The list is endless! But the students dont care about all these. What they want and all they care about is to return to school to 'have fun cos home is boring' and not because they are itching to go study. |
Enigma17: But you're forcing FG to give you a large chunk of the national budget.mtscheewNo. They are forcing a perpertualy irresponsible govt to be responsible for once! |
wasak: please what is ASUU asking for again? I don't seem to understand this film any longer or did I miss any episode?Since you are asking the wrong question, you would always be confused. You should ask the govt what they are doing about the agreement reached with ASUU earlier this month. This govt is the most morally bankrupt govt on the face of this planet! ASUU shifted grounds and they had an agreement, but the govt in their usual despecable fashion have no plans of implementing it. Rather they embark of a propaganda spree to steer public sentiments against ASUU and ask those pro chancellor who are mere political apointees to order the lecturers back to the classrooms. The cominique issued by the union of pro chancellors after their last meeting is the most shameful act of asslicking i'd ever seen. The govt did this knowing fully well the implications, and then tomorow thesame govt would run to the press to tell nigerians the strike is a political ploy to undermine the president, and gullible nigerians would buy it! |
kakameks: This assertion is completely false and unfounded. The first step towards solving a problem is acknoledging there's a problem. Stop being an ostrich bro. |
iphy42: Some people can lie and some can follow up on the lies! Where is sincere 9gerian and co?They are in the pdp e-tauts wailing sanctuary built by egift earlier today. Parhaps when they are done crying they would pay this thread a courtesy call. |
MidasT: that has been the muted objective all along: to return the presidency to the northa and to islamize Nigeria. Y dint they pick Ameachi or better still Adams Oshiomhole that dont brandish ethnic and religious sentiments? APC has failed already, in whatever guise they come, we know them. Nigeria dont need leaders without principles. And Jogogoro is the leader with principle you supose? |
Jeel: Almustaf didn't write this, its an imaginary letter written by Bello-BarkindoAnd you think dailytrust would actualy publish this if truely it wasnt from Almustapha? |
chukwudi44: seriously this APC jubilation is about what? have they won any election? the Govs in question have long left the party but only announcd it formally yesterday.Seriously nothing has changedBros d bucket don reash your side yet? |
Front page mods! This magnanimous gesture from the op to lend a shoulder to grieving brothers and sisters deserves recognition and comendation. |
Only time will tell. Just a matter of time we then see who cries last.
Ok, in essence, you agree you people have already started crying but hope we be the last to cry. No yawa, for now, keep the tears and catarh flowing. @ Op: free handkerchiefs and tissues on me, pls pass them round. Make sure a bundle each gets to sincereprick and taharqueer. |
They need'nt tell us for we already know it was a sham that wasn't well thought out before execution. They should have at least droped some bullet casings on the ground and shot some some bullets into the 'owner's corner' seat to put some realness into the plot. Guess they werent just smart enough or take nigerians for fools. |
bigtt76: Abeg make she sell if that would make the refineries work.Stop dreaming brother. They told us privatization is the antidote to the perenial electricity problems we had. Now that it has been done what we've ended up with is a comatose power sector that cannot suply nigerians 4hrs of electricity in a day! The planed and eventual sale of the refineries would finaly nail the fate of our strugling economy, consigning the lives of ordinary nigerians into the hands of their oppressors. |
JECBOSS: The kind of odd stories we do hear these days.....And the kind of topics posted in POLITICS SECTION... |
babyosisi: Okokobioko!!Kai, this woman, you are not nice sam sam!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
Jo's @ss must be smelling like french fries to him right now. Keen observers then advised him to thread softly with the Amaechi's issue but he wouldnt listen, choosing rather to tow the path of his absolutely politicaly naiive wife, now look at him. Make dem begin dey tidy the impeachment mata sharp sharp mbok. We must end this era of kakistomuboplutocracy as soon as posible! |
Super1759: what is this one saying? Who told you about their wards? Take it from me, ASUU have over stepped boundaries, EBSU just left, UNILAG will join soon. And others will follow suit.Yeah, he's too soft, little wonder his govt is the most corrupt in the history of this nation. It is so bad he even goes as far as granting duely convicted felons pardon! |
Madam, you dont need to go the extra mind to justify your theft cos, as you can see, nigerians aren't buying this and you are making yourself appear absolutely ridiculous. The presidential panel already exonerated you. Go forth and bring forth. |
I'm really impressed by most of the coments i've read so far. Indeed nigerians are getting wiser! She couldnt even risk being in the car when it happened. Even jonathan sef go undstand this one. Lol! |
