thank you for posting it. i watched the interview with Larry King that night on 18th and was really touched. it was the way she looked that caught my attention. i have read about her a bit. i felt pity for her during the show. it was like she knew she was about to die. she cried and i was touched at what made a person so thin. May her soul rest in peace.

she will be remembered, and those lashes too wink wore it to the last. RIP Tammy Faye.
her idea: she doesn't want worms eating her up so asked to be cremated. wow!

daprince you made good point, abi make i add to your question, if that superb eh, why carry belle at a young age? rampant in niaja. i think you raise your kids where you are is better. if you want to send the kids home, go ahead with them.

when my times comes, i'd rather raise them where i am, wether nig or overseas. there oversea, i have my odo and native pots to cook with. i have basin and large plastic for them to wash their clothes ever now and then grin

FoodRe: What Do You Feel Like Eating Now? by omoge(f): 10:47pm On Jul 18, 2007
haha, well i lived in the north and eat northern food. though my family didn't make it but you know we young yarinyas could group up and make them. so am used to northern food. not all their soup though cuz too darkish i failed to eat it.

I lived in the west the only meal i didn't get to like was amala and ewedu. i use the stew for eba instead of mixing it up with ewedu. but i tasted Plantain amala once here (a friend gave moi and i tried it). it was good sha.

visited granny in village you know better  cheesy

my hobby is cooking. i cook my own meals and i entertain classmates and roomies when i have time.
at this stage, am still mingling with Nig meals  grin grin

Pete is a common hausa meal. i think some will call it corn porridge.

Do you know Zogole leaf or vegetable? don't say you don't oooooooooooooo smiley
FoodRe: What Do You Feel Like Eating Now? by omoge(f): 10:27pm On Jul 18, 2007
eh? moin moin i eat that one like no man business, lol.

if you go to walmart or kmart, you will find a plastic bowl lil in size. i use that to cook/steam my moin moin after blending with onion, habanero pepper, red/bell pepper. once you wash off the skin, you are all set. any of the grocery stores should have black eye pea for your moin moin, smile.

Pete: dried corn (skin off and grated, normally we use the hausa flat raffia tray to take out the ones use for pete, that is the ones no so smooth). it is cooked like you boil your rice and
Fresh Tomatoes, gnut oil, salt, and a sour vegetable (Yakua i think is the name) are added into it. It looks not too thick for like what they call goose goosse in the north. again, it might look like ACHIA but achia is too thicken unlike Pete.

when you eat it, the sour vegetable makes it tastes cheesy cheesy
