lol that na real gutter. wetin we no go find for inside that gully and people lived closed to that eh. there used to be a place we lived with something closed to that. water from bathroom all flow pass am and it flowed to a small stream people will fetch water from. my dad will be the only one working it, shoveling, moving, etc for at least to allow water to flow. neighbors will just hang around and watch  . everyone will enjoy the flow until short time as dad isn't always around. when he gets back he clean up again just because of us.

now i wonder who will clean that gutter there, what a sight and mosquitoes in there!

i only missed the nigeria ones. every night the Fresh Prince and Cosby shows airs hours after hours so that i am able to catch up those i missed yonder years.

there was this very nice couples living closed to us doing my growing up years. this lady was my mom's best friend and i remember i used to call her mama mercy. they had 4kids and mercy being the first one. very beautiful kids and the lady was very pretty. i used to observed she and my mom locked in gisting. well, they were best friends. shortly i didn't see her no more. years later i asked my mom of mama mercy and now that i really understand she explained to me that her family took her away and the kids because the guy did not pay the bride price so their marriage wasn't seen as one. so the woman's family ended up claiming the children. she was in touch with my mom for a while and told mom she will come back if her hubby could pay the bride price.

baba mercy was still around many years after. we never know what happened to her.

well, i support proper relationship and doing things the right way instead of trying to beat the tradition, playing boyfriend and girlfriend and giving someone belle, ain't funny.

haha, my good friend came to visit me last week with her bf. she was gisting me that her bf was living with her at some point in their relationship. she got fed up and asked him to get his place. the guy didn't want to leave (he is an oyinbo). so she went to court lol. she said she became tired haha. as she was telling me, the guy was just laughing at what she had to do to get him out. the cop came to evict him. they still together.

personally, i won't because am not ready to play that big role like doing things for 2.

I love ibadan for real. who will forget that Bodija market, the haggling with the hausa men at bodija market, sabo and Sasa. Dugbe was broken down before I left, remember when you used to go buy christmas things at Dugbe

men self! now the wife was doing her hair. if the hair no good, he go complain and start to dey look for opeke. Now lady try make herself look good while saving their money, hubby acting up.

well, my parents had 2 SS kids. both are no longer living now. the first died at abt 2years. the other died when she was 13years old. we were able to figure it out based on same crisis with the second that the first one was a sickler (but never documented or known to my family) the first one my parents weren't aware she was SS. but the next one my parents knew right away. an oyinbo delivered my mom in the military hosp back then and immediately she was born, was able to tell my mom you baby is SS. I guess she lived longer cuz we knew earlier. I remember her all the time, RIP.

Now i have a friend whose parents gave birth to 10 children. None SS but my friend is a carrier am sure the rest too are carriers.

Well, if anyone decides stop a relationship cuz of they are carrier, that's their decision. chances are you may not have an SS child. but then many in nigeria are carriers. Now you just want to be dropping your relationships cuz each of your partner are AS?
