FamilyRe: Single Parenthood - Trendy Or Trashy ? by omoge(f): 1:09pm On May 18, 2007
@ topic

some are talking here like they support boyfriend and girlfriend banging/eating the forbidden fruit and then oops  undecided pregnant, boyfriend not ready, girlfriend you are on your own, isn't that trashy? trendy cuz it's happening alot. and what is the beauty in such?

Osisi i dey your side for this. i think most single parents are from this girlfriend and boyfriend thingy. Young ladies, let's keep our leg secured.

if it is a blessing, why is one or both rejecting it? if they knew they are pregnant, why not two get involved? please let's stop changing the society into something else!

FamilyRe: Single Parenthood - Trendy Or Trashy ? by omoge(f): 7:33pm On May 17, 2007
And again Ladies should not open their leg for any man. Wait, don't let them sweet talk you. Close your leg. For a divorce, from death, it's understandable. At least there was marriage involved. I hate the idea of girls carrying belle for their boyfriends or the man they met out there.
RomanceRe: Why Are Nigerians Shy About Public Kissing? by omoge(f): 6:50pm On May 17, 2007
if you are purging, after that beans or moinmoin meal you can't hold  grin

so why should kissing be held till you reach one secret place? lol, i do it but not french kissing sha.

the feelings of others, that's true. especially those whose guys/chics don't give it to them.

we don't only do things because there's nothing wrong with it, we also should put the feelings of others into play.
Everybody knows we all use the toilet, must one do it in a market square to prove  that his digestive system is still in tip top shape?

TravelRe: Woman Loses 11.8 Million Naira To US Immigration by omoge(f): 3:12pm On May 16, 2007
in these days of terrorism, US is suspicious of anyone carry large sum of money. they deal with even their own here for carrying large sum, as they suspect them to be working with terrorists. they have warnings all over, she should have wired her money.

being a citizen doesn't matter. they can always strip one of it if one break their law. No place to lay in Oyinbo land. hopefully she will be alright.

uspry1, you are right.
RomanceRe: Is It Wrong To Want To Marry A Rich Man? by omoge(f): 2:54pm On May 16, 2007

FoodRe: Kunu - Tell Me Everything You Know About It by omoge(f): 2:48pm On May 16, 2007
Yeah not the same thing. Fura is from millet mostly farmed in the north. but Millet can be found in most markets in Nigeria. And the process isn't the same that's true. Millet you grate and cook, pound and mould etc to make Fura, I have forgotten the process now. used to make it with my northern friends just for our enjoyment grin.

and the nunu is fresh milk from cattle or cows. I don't really like it. So i use Peak milk with my Fura back then. I think if you taste a cold Fura de Nunu, you will love it more than kunu. I love it more than Kunu, maybe its cuz I've had too much Kunu zaki grin

eeman, thanks for your add up smiley

i like kunu after a meal of Masa (another hausa meal)
FoodRe: Do You Like Smoking Garri? by omoge(f): 2:35pm On May 16, 2007
what? what world are you in Spoilt? You don't know?

garri is the most sought after food in nigeria. not even rice is up to garri you know. and who do you think is responsible for the peeling to feed the million people in nigeria ? It ain't free.

Yes they do peel for money/living and true, the Labours of our heros past shall never be in vain.

When next you smoke garri, Say a prayer to those under the sun and shade peeling cassava for your stomach  grin.

I read some years ago that Marriam Babangida was trying to invent a machine for peeling, don't know the outcome of that project.

Spoilt, i don't think ajebutters will be able to handle a sharp knief to peel cassava o  cheesy. I have watched and it's ain't funny I tell you.

Once I tried to peel cassava I cut my hands real bad. I still carry the mark on my 2 and 4 fingers. And ma love me too much to let me pass through that again,  grin grin cheesy

music: All hail the farmer, peelers and fryers. and the Soaketh and Smoketh they ain't know what they do  grin

FoodRe: Do You Like Smoking Garri? by omoge(f): 3:39pm On May 15, 2007
If you live in the barracks, it's likely your family produce its own garri. Many families (including mine) have cassava and corn farms. We have a huge cassava and corn farm where my parents pay jobs to clear after planting since dad is always traveling and mom has her business to run. I watch those working those garri machines, not something a young lady can do,  grin those muscle guys dey plenty. Mine was to make sure those helping my mom did it well. And when I visit the village, my young self helps granny.

Mind you, the process of making garri you all loved isn't easy   wink

by the way, I don't have a former life. Life dey kampe  wink

spoilt:
omoge abeg make you no vex but you work for garri factory for your former life? grin

lol you guys wan kill me with laughter, LMAO omy Lord, haha, hehehe, Spoilt and Osisi, kini now, shee efe pour sand sand ninu garri mi ni, lol just joking. You guys made me laugh so hard my oyinbo roommate dey look me like say i dey craze, lol

I grew up in Barracks where lots of garri was processed. my dad has cassava farm too and we do harvest our cassava in making garri for the house instead of buying,  grin So my family NEVER buy garri for use in the house.
so i can make garri (i hate frying, got my hands burnt alot the first time i tried it. so mom don't let me fry garri  cheesy). There are people who come from the villages to peel for money. they do it all and also frying too while mom paid them and go for her business. Me and my sis stop by to see that everything is done well.

ayefele200, haha, lol that was hilarious.  Nah, it should be free please. Ha! Ibadan na garri land too, you know abi?
