especially to those with typical village and farm experience. You can't grow up in the village around the middle belt for example and be awed by the LCC experience.

If we have serious Governors in this country, IGR would be increasing yearly in geometric proportions. Taraba's Chappal Waddi mountain (highest point in Nigeria) should be hosting at least 500,000 new visitors yearly (from the south south region and other parts of the country) who due to their geography, have never seen nor climb a mountain. Maintain this trend for a year or two and get a local airport, create more jobs and improve your economy.

To other willing private investors, you can't go wrong with tourism. The attractions already are there. Just invest, maintain and spread the message.
Insecurity should be tackled first to the barest minimum then tourism will be a boom..becos the middle belt and the north have so many interesting site to behold.I missed the days of Nigeria before Boko Haram and fulani headsmen wahala

What is men's cloth and what is women's cloth

Jesus in his time wore a gown, men in Scotland wear skirt, men in southern nigeria tie wrapper

Theresa May, angela Merkel, Margaret Thatcher all wore trouser. Come and live in cold weather and see which woman won't wear trouser

Pastors should always avoid things like this. It was this same denomination that criticized television in the 80s now they are broadcasting services on TV
Even his son's wife, on their wedding day, was seen wearing a beautiful laced wedding gown with a long veil, jewelries with human hair on a relaxed hair to match and looking very elegant and angelic just like the typical fashionable woman .
The church so much looked down on these things with disdain and seen as abominable in the site of God...Kumuyi sons wedding day as oppose to the boring traditional deeper life code of dressing for women at weddings..If this had happened among ordinary members..I am sure by now they would have been excommunicated .Men of God and their double standard.

Men are just selfish and sex obsessed that's why they keep vomitting this thrash about men can have sex without emotions so wives should tolerate their cheating.
In fact the more I read Nairaland men's comments the more I realise how very useless, senseless and extremely selfish Nigerian men are

So your wives should be 100% faithful while you cheat because you can have sex without emotions?

What about men that end up loving their girlfriend so much thy marry them and start rejecting/abandoning their first wives like the evil pieces of shiit many men are?

What about STDs? Or you think condoms protect against every single sexually transmitted disease? Newsflash, there are diseases you can get even after having sex with a condom. So after catching on of these diseases you want to go back home to infect an innocent woman who was busy staying faithful and respecting herself?

What about if your condom tears during sex and you get another woman pregnant? Or worse contact HIV from her? Should your wife also stay and start taking HIV drugs forever because you were a fool that had no control over his sex urges?

Fight corrupt politicians them no fit fight, only to come online and fight women and claim superiority when the rest of the world disrespects them for being dishonest scammers.

Nigerian men are a disgrace.
that was well said...na only women matter Nigerian men get power reach, but when it comes to speaking up against the ill in the society they become weak and speechless.

Must we copy the whites(western world) in everything? I strongly advocate that the men should marry more wives...African man is polygamous in nature. This one-man one-wife is not really working for we Africans...Polygamy worked for our grandfathers. People even practiced polygamy in the Bible.
Do you have the financial means to start a polygamous family? if you have, no wahala..becos I know ordinary one wife and two children alone for the average Nigerian guy due to the economy is a big struggle
However, some rich men do have more than one wives because they can afford it .The problem is not about marrying wives and having many children but having the means to take care of them comfortably.
Secondly What about the trouble that comes with polygamy? if you have the energy for that..then all you need to do is to wed only through the Nigerian native law and custom..no court nor church wedding will tolerate polygamy.

Politics › Re: Nigeria More Divided Than During Civil War — Obasanjo by omoharry(f):
ItzChinnex:
Nigeria More Divided Now Than The time Of Civil War — Obasanjo

The former President of Nigeria Chief Olusegun Obasanjo yesterday expressed his grief on the present state of Nigeria.

According to him, Nigeria is more divided now than it was during the Civil war.

He said this during the general yearly meeting of the Association of Chief Audit Executives of Banks in Nigeria (ACAEBIN), in Abeokuta.
According to the Former President, Nigeria More Divided Now Than The time Of Civil War:

“When we look at this country today, even during the civil war, we were not as divided as we are today. Today, we are in danger if we don’t take partnership serious. Partnership within our people, within Africa and the rest of the world.”

“As Chief audit, it is defined by virtue of what you are doing as a profession. If the audit is awry, banking business will not be right. What I want to emphasise is that, it is a must as Nigerians and as Africans, that we have certain elements that we have to take very serious which I put as five Ps.

He also lamented the high level of illiteracy in the Northern part of the country:

“The first is politics which is governance. Unless we get governance right, any other thing we are trying to do will not be right. The second is population. Our population at independence, we were estimated to be 45 million, but today we are 200 million. By the year 2050, we will be over 400 million. Normally, population should be an asset but looking at the condition we are in now, when in the North-East of percentage of adult literacy is about 53 percent, you can see that, we have a problem and education is basic in all human development. “How do we think of setting education to be useful? Those people who will make our education over 400 million in some years time are already born, and you cannot unborn them, so the problem is here, what do we do?

“We must provide education for them, housing, healthcare, education for them, and more importantly, employment for them."

He also talked on Employments in Nigeria, urging banks to pay more attention on Agricultural Sector and Business.

“One thing that I believe will help us is to provide employment, and probably part of what will help us is agric business. And you in the baking business must pay attention to how we build the agric sector.

“I am not talking of horti-culture, I am talking of the whole value chain, from land preparation. And if we are able to get that right, maybe we will be able to get the issue of employment for our teeming youths right, we will be able to get even the issue of rural development right, we will be able to get the issue if the gap between the have and have not right.

“The next one is prosperity, I am not being bothered about Nigeria’s poverty or Africa poverty. Nigeria have everything to generate wealth. We have God’s given resources under our soil. We also have human resources. If we bring these together, then, we will definitely get prosperity."

Obasanjo on Security:

“Another one is protection, that is security. People must be protected in all aspect. Protection of lives, protection of property and the people can actually feel that they are protected,” he said.

Ogun State governor, Ibikunle Amosun who was represented by the state Commissioner for Finance, Mr Adewale Oshinowo spoke on Banking in the digital age:

He said that,

“Our motivation, as an administration, towards making lives abundant for our good people is to ensure optimal utilisation of the available resources and block all leakages and wastage of our resources.”

“As the operating environment changes, the knowledge and skill required to effectively perform audit assignments have become more sophisticated.”

True talk..However, the problem i have with all our past leaders is that when they were in position to make the necessary change that is required to make the country better but refuse to do it and later come back, complaining about the same country they failed to fix really beat my imagination...

Is it that Aso Rock has a way of blanking out their brains and sense of duty to the citizens of Nigeria; Making them clueless in solving our basic problem such as power ,Healthcare and education system and even restructuring the country so that Nigeria can be managed efficiently by their various state or regions..but they did not. Obasanjo had opportunity to restructure this country but he used his selfish 3rd term agenda to Arrow the whole process... Now he is complaining that Nigeria is more divided than ever..Of cos we are..

Nigerians have always aligned themselves along their various ethnicity/religious affinity before recognizing the fact that they are Nigerians...they only see someone from another tribes as one only when they are outside the country.Restructuring this country is the only way out and nothings else...Baba Obasanjo should stop talking about the issues we have because he is part of the reason Nigeria has remained like this..since he has ruled on two various occasions.

SCAM ALERT

Dear all, I have decided to be an antiscam ambassador on business threads of this our noble forum.

Why taking the burden

I realise the scammer that duped me have con many in the past and he is probably duping another gentle guy from our member right now. So, as a humanitarian, I have decided to take a time out of my busy schedule to share this information. Perhaps with time, most of our members would be saved from scammers trick.

What you should knowThis account Numbers must have BVN..is there no way these scammers can be reported to EFCC?

1. There are trusted xchangers in various business threads
2. There are thieves waiting for you to fall to their trick and do a way with your hard earned money

How to identify the trusted xchangers

1. There are people that have a great reputation in this business here. I will mention few. Knowing them is a step to avoid scammer. However, it's not 100% guarantee, but it's better than not having the list.

Examples of these trusted fellows are:

LadyF
Aleairhub
Justi4jesu
Bookiemart01
Singapore1
Nsonaso
Sunboy
Legalwealth
Omotisa
Iyemik
Bdavis
Saintpn
Mariesio
Vizboy
Toluxa1
Gunbiz
Jazes
Tumababa
Juliustip
Naira2usd2naira
Enterpro
Cjsmack
HazzanTazzan

etc

2. You can take the vouch of at least 5 of the trusted members in order to be able to trust an unknown fellow you wanna deal with

How to identify scam

1. A scammer don't usually write details such as number etc about themselves in their profile
2. They usually offer mouthwatery trade e.g selling bitcoin at 400/$ when others are selling at 450 or 500
3. Their mobile number if typed on google brings out information different from what they tell you
4. Their profile is usually new - few months, a year or 2 years old
5. They usually have little or no posts
6. They are always in a hurry during transaction.
7. They use different names and different accounts
8. Block your number immediately after you transfer money to them
9. They sometime come in the name of religion, calling themselves convenat child of God, commited muslim...blah..blah..blah
10. The greedy scammer engages in legit xchange for some period in order to earn your trust and burst you BIG
11. They send money from bank account different from their name. This is MITM technique beware.
12. They write on the thread false scam story so that you would let your guard down when dealing with them
13. They send customise SMS claiming a trusted member vouch for them or false bank SMS alert
14. They sometime claim they don't have nairaland account in order to protect thier moniker.
15. They sometimes claim they can not quote you because antispam bot bans their username. Don't be fooled

How to prevent yourself

1. Trade with trusted xchanger ONLY - This is not 100% guarantee though, but it's more advisable than blind dealing OR
2. Obtain as many vouch as possible before your deal OR
3. Use ESCROW incase you are trading with less trusted fellow
4. Research on identity of the fellow you want to trade with i.e don't rely 100% on my list - confirm my list from your little research

List of identified scammers

Unfortunately, I wrote this in haste, and I won't be able to come up with more than few data. You are welcome to add your own lists of identified scammers you have identified (with proof) and I will add it up.

all these ones u guys are saying ladies born and bred in nigeria are traditional my guy its not all dat are traditional. My neighbour here his wife is a born and bred bini lady. She does not cook or do any domestic stuff.its her husband who does the domestic stuff and they have a 12 yr old boy that helps the man. The lady no dey enter market as well. Some nigerian guys overseas who have never stepped their foot into africa and nigeria always have this fantasy dreams about african womencheesy. African ladies don wise up. Go to some naija homes and u will see dat na man dey cook inside d kitchen in some homes while d woman dey sitting or go dey polish her nails for balcony.
There is something wrong somewhere with that.It not normal.

Ogboruooooooooooooooooo!! ee don tey since you don dey contest without coming close to winning your opponent..from Ibori..to Uduaghan to Okowo..this is a big blow haven failed for the 6th time..I suggest he goes for a serious deliverance..haba! I like the guy to be Governor sha oo!but he should have allowed a free and fair primaries in the APC that would have ushered in a Pat Utomi to give Okowa a run for his money for this would would have divided the vote of the Aniomas'. Then he will come back with a full force under the APC when its time for the Urhobos in 2023..but dem no gree. well..what next now?

Na when hunger go start by March or April we go know who be who...

Wetin concern me everybody Dn dy use android dy talk rubbish
Exactly my thought. My problem is the Fulani Headmen and the encouragement they are getting from Pre. Buhari. Any way Nigerians have made thier choice so did the MB/NC. The way they have decided lay their bed so they will lie on it in the next for years .I fear for this country any way under Buhari's administration

I know you criminally minded Igbo that lack human capital to develop your little 11thousand square kilometre region like you will turn it to abusive come debate with me let me lecture about Nigeria am proud as a Yoruba man because we are the economy back bone of Nigeria that is why you cant survive without coming to our space
Then you must be an over grown baby .For you don't make sense at all.Just go to the Mirrow to observe yourself talk then you will weep for your miserable existence you are so proud off. my region is the reason why we are still in this miserable country sharing the same air with your kind.since you love ur tribe so much why don't you crawl back to the hole you came out from where only your tribe exist .You are proud Yoruba man then then you should ashamed of yourself that you have an IQ that like that of an 11year old child .I know so many Yoruba people and from my observation they are intelligent people who know what good and not good for them.
