But it’s not politicians that carry the body bags and do the tests and treat the patients. All these people have to be part of the cover up. Hiw do u keep them lying forever??
Following his line, about 100 people staged a drama including one pretending to die just so I would believe when I was at the testing center yesterday.
See health workers yesterday who did night duty lobbying to test quickly before they go home. And that sample collection is very uncomfortable!

Stop spreading wrong information. Covid-19 is really deadly and we just lost a colleague. He was young and we are not yet sure if he had any underlying ailments.
Thanks you. I know two people who died. Tested. One in front of me.

Those who haven't experienced Covid first hand may never understand the seriousness of Covid and I pray they never do. While we who know and those treating will never loose our lives or loved ones again in Jesus name.

FairyGodmother:

I guess the previous doctors never mentioned short cervix & cerclage cos the pregnancies never got to the point where the cervix starts to shorten/efface. I think the doctor now is proffering cerclage as a preventative measure cos of the history of miscarriages and the huge fibroids that may cause the cervix to dilate before term. I agree with Omojudy, look for a cheaper option. I am in the eastern part of the country and fortunately our health care services are not so pricey like in Lagos. I paid only 36k for the cerclage procedure and will pay 2k5 for the removal when the time comes.
See affordability! Govt hospital?

I decided to speak today to encourage other who have experienced it first hand to speak so as to further kill the ignorance. Truth is many people are hiding that they know or are treating it for fear of stigmatisation.

No one is forcing anyone to believe, probably till it hits you then you will understand. Nigeria case is still very low compared to its population of over 200m people.
It is only a moronic person that would say covid 19 is a scam. undecided

So any death that happens in the hospital this day is Covid 19 death.. Wonders shall never end. The number of people I have seen that died in the hospital prior to this period nko?. Even My Grandfather died in the hospital 2wks ago. I am very sure if it happened in Lagos they would have recorded him as a covid 19 patient.
Nigeria is just a play ground for the politicians. He is not a covid 19 patient.. Those result are fake
It's rather unfortunate that you didn't read the body of the post before commenting.

He only showed us on the scan that the distance between the cervix and the baby is short and that due to the nature of the last miscarriage where the baby came out on its own after some pain that the cervix is probably weak. That was his explanation. But with what you've said, we are not far from ayinke house. Will breeze in tomorrow to see if we can see someone in the private wing there. Thank you but if you know any hospital where we can get a second opinion either government or private or where we can get the procedure done if needed, I'm open to suggestions. This forum is more useful than using Google. Thanks a lot for your response. Appreciate it.
Present all you know before and all he told and gave you to the consultant you will see in ayinke. Request the same type of scan he did if you know the name.
It's not really money that is my problem afterall people use Lagoon. It's just I don't see any conviction in the story. I have been carried away by doctors before so I don't look at that much.

Health / I Saw A Covid 19 Death by Omojudy: 4:47pm On Jun 06, 2020
Today I saw Covid 19 to be real in Nigeria.
I went testing.
A positive died right in front of us. He had been previously tested positive, tests take 3 day to be returned. He was invited back to be admitted after his test returned but only did when it became critical.
He gave up while oxygen was being administered. A disagreement ensured between the doctor attending to him and a recorder. Doctor was passionately angry that someone's life was at stake and he was recording. Guess the man's excuse? "Do you know who I am? I am a police officer."
I posted this for all of you looking to know someone who has Covid before taking precautions.
God bless our health workers.

I will have to visit ayinke house for the procedure but will probably do the antenatal and other things with olan . Last I tried someone said they said they are receiving only emergency patients due to Corona virus . Hospital hopping isn't easy but if not for today, none of the previous doctors we saw told us the cervix was short/ weak and a cerclage would be needed . Thanks for the advice
How did you confirm his diagnosis anyway? By persuasive compassion? All hospitals are taking new cases in all departments, especially govt hospitals because sicknesses other than Covid exist and there are centers for Covid not them!

Good afternoon, so we went to olan hospital today recommended by ohemababy on this platform and we saw Dr soyoola. He took his time to explain and I actually saw empathy in his words though he told us to buckle up for some pain cos of the huge sizes of the fibroid. He told us if we want to pray, we should pray to deliver safely with grace of God and not just praying against the fibroid . He also explained the technicalities. However he said we need to do a cervical cerclage operation which they want to charge over 300k for. Their antenatal is 150k and doesn't cover scan. Scan fee during ante natal is 7500 per scan. Today we paid 20k for consulting and another 15 k for the scan making 35k. It's pricey but he seems to know what he's doing and he takes his time to explain the technicalities in a simple way. So baby is fine though the fibroids are above it.

Please is there anyone that has done this cervical cerclage procedure before and can you recommend where you did it and how much . Some said ayinke house can do it . Mind you the 300k olan is charging doesn't include the two days admission for the procedure and all the tests required which may easily take the costs to 400k. I can use them for the antenatal cos I like the doctor and their staff seem nice but I need a second opinion on whether I can do the procedure elsewhere. Thank you.

By the way today was the first time we saw the baby dancing in the scan. It was very exciting.
Congratulations. Did you say pricey? I say damn expensive. Cerclage na BTW 150k to 200k. Did in County hospital during my time. But I did say you should just carry your leg to ayinke jejely for everything plus antenatal and born. If not for lasuth I for still dey carry Belle miscarry up till now. They are good with gynecology. Forget all these private hospital smile. They are nice so you will pay your money.

Since you want to do ivf, u could merge it with a surrogacy. Ie implant in both your womb and a surrogate that same cycle.
Yes a surrogate cycle can fail like an ivf can but atleast you eliminate that trend of your own body like I did in my case.

Questiontime:
Dear All. I and my wife have been TTC. We recently did an IVF recently and to God be the glory she came out Positive. The transfer was done 3weeks ago. 3 embryos were transfered. Today, we went to the hospital for another reason and the hospital because of pending lockdown in the country asked us to do a scan. The scan was actually meant to be in the 4th week but we did it in the 3rd week. The result showed one sack was valid. We were advised to redo the scan on Saturday.
I want to asked, is it possible that the scan was done prematurely and hence the reason for the seeming poor result. Is their a chance that the other embryos would still grow before the next scan.
PS.. I am hopeful

UPDATE-
Thanks for all your responses. She went for another scan today. Its about 5weeks now. The doctor says the sac is still small, but they can detect heart beat of the baby and the size is seemingly OK in size. But the issue is that the sac is not growing. Its 6.4 in size(not so sure).
Please it their any chance of survival. I am still hopeful and prayerful
You are doing too early scans. My first scan must have been at 8 weeks. I am praying for you.

There is, but even if it is one, let's celebrate already. It could have been zero. Remember that ivf isn't a certainty, they put in a safe number with the hope of atleast one surviving. 3 were put in my time, twins I was blessed with.
