I used to think this mockery of a thing is a thing of one's mind until our landlord said the same thing to me last year November 2021. l was really pained to the marrow . I didn't take it lightly with him and his family since last year November, even after insulting him back immediately. I really did not let them have peace of mind despite being a tenant in their house. Later, he first told my hubby to tell me that he was sorry , he was still feeling big to come to me .When he saw that I didn't take "sent sorry", It was just last week that he apologised to me, but I still tell God to deal with him sha so as to show others lesson.

Sorry about your failed cycles, I will suggest you include intraliped drip before next transfer that was the game changer for me after 3 failed implantation attempt. Even with the fibroid I have had two successful pregnancies.

Let me share a rather hilarious but stressful Surrogate's transaction I had.
I run a surrogacy agency. I am mainly based in Abuja and Lagos. Earlier this year I got a message from a lady let's call her Victoria. She was Abuja based and wanted to be a Surrogate. I began communicating with her. Some days later I see a text on my phone from her number which I had not saved. It sounded romantic. I didn't realise it was her number so I thought "who is this again?"

Then she called with the number and I blasted her her telling her how unprofessional and weird that text was and I do not think I should work with her anymore. She begged and apologised. I then went further to tell her that I had no Abuja vacancies either. She said she will come to Lagos. I told her I neither had accommodation nor assurance of Lagos, she said no problem. I said No. I was really getting bad feelings about her.

A month later I was in Lagos and I get a call from her saying she was in Lagos and wanted to come to my office and I was like seriously?
Well she did appear. She met another Surrogate applicant the day she came in. After a regular briefing, I take them both to the diagnostic center for pre tests as part of their application process. She obviously gets the other lady's contact. Her pre tests were OK. I put her in transport to go to her place and I will get back to her. She began making entreaties requests with her eyes like a lover for transport fare home. I cleared her or thought I did.
Victoria, you knew what you requested for when you insisted on doing this etc. She was really embarrassing me. An hour later, she calls me to tell me how she was stranded returning home and a stranger had to borrow her money.

At that point I really should have cut off things despite cost of tests I had spent. Nonetheless I continued. Maybe out of sympathy for the sacrifice she has put to get to Lagos.
After she had passed our other accessement tests and she started treatment in the fertility clinic she began writing complaining about her accommodation and her host that she was being almost killed that I should find place for her to stay. Mam what is this? You are not pregnant yet, be grateful for your host, put your head down and manage the place.
Then she calls the other Surrogate she met, tries to use her mum in Uyo to guilt trip her to beg her to move in with her.
She writes and complains and I eventually had to restrict her number.

One day I offer her a single room telling her she will pay for it indirectly but when or if she is pregnant she will get a real accommodation. Aunty say no except its flat and in her area that she wants to find a job that do I know how she has been feeding? I say wow.
Then one day at the hospital still on pre transfer medication, she says she saw vacancy for cleaner in same hospital and applied and got the job etc.

Victoria are you reasoning well at all? How can you be a Surrogate and a cleaner? Where is the rest? Didn't we discuss this? And even where you want to do ivf? She starts with the complain of I don't know how she is feeding. I threaten to change her at the center. The process continues. I had to send her money for anti malaria one day as directed by the clinic, she didn't buy it for days and I had to force her to buy it by insisting on pictures.

Transfer was around the corner, she was given last dose of drugs, then she starts another round of complains about how they told her to eat well, how will I solve it? How the drugs make her eat too much, how will I solve it?

Then one day she says "the matron said I am cancelled, that they saw blood". Victoria, what happened really? She cannot explain.

Well, the matron saw her as irrational as I would in her shoes(she mentioned the cleaner job to her and blames the matron till today for not letting her take the job saying she reported her to union that she is a Surrogate for a person there etc), yes she saw blood but that could be worked on as has been done in similar cases in the past and all things put together with the IP decided to change the Surrogate yes even without informing me so I lost money.

I lost a client, money and wasted time but I don't regret her being cancelled. The stress was already this much at this stage, imagine if pregnancy occurred!

Oh she writes me everyday now with forwarded daily greetings, she once asked me if I will see another IP to link her up to. I am like seriously? When I am not on ment.

Hello Sabi mama! My heart is heavy! All in all 14yrs trying to have children of my own. In my 40 and 2nd marriage. I am a good person and a believer! I was believing miracle would happen b4 now (Yes miracle does happen) plus hubby refused IVF option not until 3 yrs ago.The diagnosis was premature menopause . Prior to me trying I do not know alot about IVF. To cut the long story short. I did 3 cycle of IVF with donor Egg at Nordica and they were all BFN. We are devastated. I am devastated. My family are (I am the only one on the waiting list in the entire family). Oh I prayed...We prayed! Ok! According to them at NORDICAL they said I have 1 more round of DH semen available (We live in the state and I took 3 month leave (nopay). Should I do this last round with them? Should I let them discard the semen and go elsewhere? Each cycle cost nothing less than N3.6M. They also refused me at NORDICA to take any prenantal pre and post embryo transfer (stating they do not approve any one) Though they gave me Folic acid and low dose aspirin. Please help me. Any advice, recommendation? I have roughly 8weeks left. Can anything be done at this window? Yes I can cough out money for this procedure(if na borrow I will) and hubby can also come in for 2days and produce another semen. Please think for me. I did 2 surrogates once with 5 embryos and zero took in. Ivf is not a sure thing laslas.

Good Evening all. Been awhile. So i did go for another round of IVF both for me and a surrogate this time. Is sad to say that i had a BFN. i started bleeding on the 8th day when i wiped and i was given injections, it stopped only for me to start bleeding on the 13th again but this time a lot heavier than the 8th day. I was also given another injection. i stayed in the hospital all tru and i did all i was supposed to do as i learnt from here. As for the surrogate, it was also a negative. She did not bleed at all. I used my eggs as i had 6 grade AA eggs that made it to day 5 before the implant. Four were implanted for me while two went to the surrogate. Am just wondering what could have gone wrong as all the prognosis were right this time or so i thought. Before the transfer i did Anti- Mullerian Hormone test and i was 2.44 hence my going ahead to use my eggs. I know my write up is lengthy but please sabi Mamas help me touch light this as hubby is insisting we try just surrogate rather than myself and a surrogate again. i have done 3IVFs and 1IUI. I had surgery to remove fibroids last year September. i will be 40yrs this year.

I can understand your husband. He doesn't want to risk your health unnecessary. Ivf isn't always rocket science. How about using 2 surrogates instead of using yourself?

Please I need advice and suggestions. I did ivf late last year, got pregnant but lost it by 11weeks 5days as a result of no heartbeat. I even attempted suicide because the pain was too much for me to bear, but to the glory of God I'm healing gradually.
I went for the evacuation(MVA) last month, I am yet to see to see my period though.
Before starting the ivf, I took some recommended drugs to boost my egg quality for some months as well with hubby, the two subserol fibroids that were small before the ivf increased to 6.5cm as a result of the plenty progesterone that I was taking,
Now my questions are; what should I do to avoid the reoccurrence of no heartbeats again ie chromosomal abnormalities.
When can I go for the 2nd round of ivf and do I need to prepare myself again? If yes what drugs do you suggest.
Looking at the size of the fibroids now does it need surgery or what can I do to reduce it?
If I should go for ivf again, do I still use same hospital or change to a new one?
I am 35year old married for 5years,hubby has low sperm motility. Please I need everyone opinion on this, please do not read and pass, help a broken sister. @blendy, @zest4alllife, @omojudy, @uridiame

Hello beloved mamas, please i have this question Pertaining ivf procedure, the 2 weeks before egg retrieval. ..have anyone taken the medications for follicle stimulation at home(self administration) and then be sending the ultrasound scan to the doctor each day, and then go back few days before the retrieval,
N.B..the doctor i have consulted with said he does not allow that, am asking if anyone have tried it and name of the hospital please...i just started work and wont be permitted for 2 weeks or more absence...

Diagnosis was pcos

I didn’t take any meds prior

I was placed on birth control prior to stims

Came down with life threatening ohss after retrieval

Had to drain fluids out (3.5litres)

Hospital management during these times were topnotch

Was unconscious for 3 days

Felt better rested for a month my embies were frozen

After transfer I went back to my normal active life d next day got my bfp 4days later

Yes, I miscarried because I didn't know I was pregnant and I was flying bikes in gallops. I did urine test prior that time, it was negative. It's really painful because dh and I really wanted a baby. I have done the evacuation. Thanks for the response.

This is a good scan. Thickened endo shows that you are either about to menstruate, ie past ovulation stage of your cycle or are pregnant but too early to show on a scan.

Hormonal imbalance and fibroid are the culprit which I'm being treated for. I eventually decided to go for the myomectomy as I've been unwilling to do it. I pray this improves our chances.

These are the hospitals I have been to for gynaecological consultation but I need to get reviews on them concerning myomectomy. Does anyone know how successful they are please? How is their aftercare too?

I have a confession that has been harding me to say. Maybe I will feel better as I do. I never even tell anyone yet.
So i had 5 embryos after my first cycle in 2019. I decided to implant them this year and in two places. Well both failed. And I have no embryos anymore. I actually hoped to have a boy thats why I used them. But most importantly I couldn't imagine one day telling the clinic to discard my embryos or imagine forgetting it there and by some malpractice it is used on some couple without my consent.
I don't know how I feel. I feel like I lost a child.
Am I making any sense?
