FamilyRe: My Husband Has Become A Domestic Slave In Our House & I Do Not Know How To Stop by omolasho: 1:28pm On Apr 29, 2020
Beautykate:
I am writing to ask if you can help me to persuade my husband to do less around the house. I am worried that he is going to make himself ill from exhaustion. Also, and it is hard for me to say this to him without being hurtful, I married him for his fun personality not his work ethic and I fear I am losing him to domestic drudgery. I want an equal partner, not a slave.

We have a toddler and a baby, born few months ago. During the pregnancy, I was quite tired and run down and my darling, supportive husband started to do more and more around the house and with our son (and despite a full-time, responsible job, he has always done more than his fair share of housework). I am now breastfeeding the baby, which is tough because he barely stops feeding and won't really nap anywhere except in my arms.

So this leaves my husband doing the shopping, tidying, washing and cooking. He gets up at 6am every morning to get our toddler ready for nursery, with a packed lunch, and he drops him off before he can get himself off to work. Meanwhile, I just sit around feeding the baby!

I feel permanently guilty and as if the only way I will get my husband to do less is if I do more. The thing is that I can walk away from mess and he can't.

I hugely appreciate him helping, but, beyond the basics, would rather see him sleeping or even cuddling me on the sofa rather than trying to be on top of everything. I love my husband – he is truly the sweetest, most loving, most wonderful lover and father, but I find myself resenting the fact that I barely see his fun side these days because he is so tired that he is essentially ill – and I can't help thinking it is at least partly self-inflicted
Mam, firstly I appreciate the fact that you appreciate and love your hubby's doing most of the house chores. I also understand your resentment. He is too devoted to your physical needs at the expense of the emotional need of you both. His excessive undertaken of what is predominantly feminine chores is making him slip off the masculine aura you wanted from your man.

Now you may wanna do these in the night;
tell him you really appreciate his chores efforts. and your concern of him being overwhelmed.
you wanted him to do less of chores(you may tell him of the ones you need his help).
you should step up in doing some of the chores yourself.

Finally, tell how you need him more by your side (sure he will have more energy and time for you when his chores are less)
Wrap up by giving him a nice sex(sit and roll on his d**k with kiss and fairy touch on his chest). Good luck!

Lordsonn:
Greetings to you all. I want to go straight to the point. I opened this account because of my marital problems.

From the day I met my wife, she was after marriage. In less than two weeks of meeting her, she started pressurizing me to meet her family members which I succumbed to.

These are what she told me at the beginning of the relationship:

1) She had HND from Kaduna Polytechnics
2) She has Diploma in Computer Science
3) She is a professional cake baker
4) She was three months pregnant
5) That she was 27 years

My discoveries after marriage:

1) She doesn’t have any HND, infact no good WAEC result
2) She cannot even connect laptop to printer and print. She don’t know much about computer at all.
3) She doesn’t know how to bake cake. I discovered that the cake I asked her to bake for me, she gave the contract to her friend.
4) She was never pregnant. She had fibroid and that made her tummy big
5) She was 33 years.

NOTE: the reasons why I believed all she told me at the beginning was because she was a prophetess in her church. She speaks in tongues and prophesy many times and most of the prophecies came to pass.

I was even surprised that in less than two weeks of our relationship, she made move for sex and we started having sex. I did not even think of pre-marital sex because I thought she was a holy woman.

The problems after marriage: several people began to beg me to forgive her and continue with the marriage. I find it difficult but she was still living in my house. I was just being forced my her family and her family members persuaded some of my family members to beg me too. I tried to love her but hatred for her was just building in my heart.

The fibroid surgery was successfully done and she got pregnant and gave birth to a baby boy. I thought the coming of the child may make me to forgive her but I could not recover from her betrayal. I even hate her more.

She wrote WAEC last session and got nine credits but the memory of her betrayal is giving me a lot of psychological trauma. I love an educated woman and cannot see myself glued to an illiterate woman in the name of marriage.

Major problems that made me sent her out:

1) She refused to go to my church. She always want to go to her church and even want me to join her there which I refused.
2) She doesn’t like education at all. She hate going to school and will never carry book to read.
3) Anytime I have disagreement with her, she will call her elder brother. And they will come and talk to me, sometimes in a very condescending manner
4) She is not submissive, very arrogant and talks with anger, authoritatively.
5) She is a societal woman, she loves joining several associations of women and be going to meetings every sunday which I don't like.
6) She value clothes more than human being. She can use any money from the family purse to buy Hollandis, lase, George etc just to dress to her church for show off. I am introvert but she is extremely extrovert.

I sent her out of my house three weeks ago. She is trying to come back in the disguise that she doesn’t want her child to be only one, that it will make the child suffer in the future but I told her I cannot allow her to my house again. I love my little child and I cannot live with such a woman who is full of lies and pretense. I just have hatred for such kind of people.

What do you think I should do?
Whao! This is serious bro. I hope God whom both of you failed to get involved in the beginning of this relationship would in his infinite mercy now intervene.

EducationUniversities That Deny Candidates Admissions Based On Olevel Results Duration. by omolasho(op): 12:03pm On Apr 29, 2020
A friend of mine who got admission into Futminna recounted how some candidates were denied admission into the versity. This is because the school claim they would not accept an OLevel above four years duration. Practically, they are saying their results have expired. However, there is never official/non-official statement from WAEC that support expiration of OLevel results.

The puzzling thing is that these varsities do not stipulate that in their admission requirements, only to place innocent candidates in a state of limbo at the tail end of registration.

Do you know any other universities that reject "old" OLevel result? Please list and comment, as this will guide other applicants from falling into this kind of trap and have their hard earned admission expectation abruptly aborted. Thank you!

It was in the early year 2016 that I got to hear of sport betting for the first time. A colleague of mine was always busy with his phone selecting coupon. He often told stories of some people who won in millions and how he was a step away from winning big cash.

I became fascinated, and one day I asked him to show me how it was played. He did and through his lectures I became I became a booking regular.
As years passed by, I dived into virtual soccer. The first day was a good one as I won a profit of almost #6k in few hours of entertaining myself. Soon afterwards, loosing strek set in.

I would play more than #80k of my monthly salary every month(as I have quit a good job). I had to because I wanted to recover my lose. At a point, I was hardly feeding my family adequately with other problem induced by this habit. I got loans from three banks against my salary amounting to #1,200,000. I bought a transport bus of #800,000 and used almost all the remaining #400k on virtual betting. Worse I continued to use the proceeds from the bus and part of my remaining salary to play the bet.

I became so impoverished that, I wasn't feeding, well, badly clothed, almost unable to pay my rent and owing family and friends to say the least.

Last year(2019) however, I did some self analysis and arrived at these conclusions;
i. I have lost much money on this habit/addiction
ii. The harder I try to recover my loss the more i loose.
iii. I can never recover my loss.
iv. i have to let it go
v. I have to forgive myself and never regret my past.

Finally, it's almost a year that I stop playing all forms of betting. I have some saving in my account now, a little investment in someone's business which generates interest, I owe no individual except the banks which they are deducting from my salary, feed and cloth myself and my family better. Most importantly, I have peace of mind now!
I was a slave of betting/gambling addiction for three years but now am free. Almighty God I thank you ooo!!!!

Please I need your assistance. My OLevel result is more than 10 years now. I wrote and scored 208 in the last jamb(2020). What are my chances of getting admission into KASU to study computer science? Will KASU accept my aged OLevel because I was told some Universities reject OLevels above 5years?
