It is true that a country gets the kind of leader it deserves. All our leaders have proven this to be true over and over again.

Every nigerian is programmed in a particular way that is just not right, there must be a re-programming of the nigerian mind because a typical nigerian is naturally inclined to breaking rules and taking undue advantage of others. They easily wave aside the consequences of law breaking because they have the least consideration and fear of the law at heart.

The typical nigerian sees himself as being too smart for others which has made them lawless. All these leaders we have presently and in past grew up with this nigerian mentality with many of them becoming educated thieves and criminals simply because the nigerian is inclined to criminality. Perhaps, even you reading this today will do worse if you get to a position of leadership in governance!

The only solution to this problem is the mind re-programming or re-orientation which will eventually reflect in our respect for law and order with no individual being above the law. How can we achieve this? The human mind is a very tricky thing and re-programming it will involve serious work with sustained and deliberate attention to mind re-orientation.

The best agent of change is the Word of God which is guaranteed to produce law abiding and honest citizen in every nigerian. Every school must encourage the teaching of Gods word; from kindergarten to the university. There is hope for change in this country if we can embrace the ministry of Gods word as change agent for the nigerian mentality. If we continue like this without taking deliberate steps for change, we shall keep producing selfish, cruel and dishonest leaders and it will only grow worse.

Long live nigeria and God bless nigeria.

Our prayers are working, changes are coming and the country is responding to our declarations, glory to God forever more!

have you tried finding out charitable deeds some churches are into? do not assume that the pastors spend the churchs' monies on themselves!

fyi, many churches run commendable programs for the poor, needy and abandoned children.

I was reliably informed that the Labour leaders with the civil liberty organisations were offered cash to the tune of N1B to fight for the reversal of the PMS price by the so called cabal. the most annoying part of the whole stuff is the use of innocent or should i say gullible nigerians to drive home their evil intentions. we have to come to terms with reality; the world economy is in tatters and if we want to survive, we must take some drastic steps to salvage our fragile economy!

it is very unfortunate that GEJ came to govt at a time like this but the man can become a hero if he guides his actions to steer nigeria's economy away from hitting the rocks. what we are witnessing today is a cummulative evil activities of all our past leaders.

we should be sincere; prices of commodities everywhere in the world are going up even in more stable economies! what Labour is doing today is not for the nigerian people but for their pockets. we all know that this subsidy must go whether we like it or not.
if we revert back to N65/l, we will shoot ourselves in the foot cos PMS will disappear from the streets and we will suffer for it.

i think what Labour and the civil organisations should be fighting is corruption within the nigerian system: NASS salaries should be cut, irrelevant ministries and ministers should be scrapped, the presidency should cut down its spendings, federal allocation spendings should be monitored, our refineries should be restored to capacity, we should work on being a producing economy than being a consuming economy and many more.

it is easier to fight the govt when you are not there cos there are many hidden truths you cannot see from outside. also, our govt must be honest to its followers, they should not train the people to see the govt as dishonest and untrusted.
