what do you have to say about countries where laws are made that forbids christians gathering together to fellowship? think of situation where a christian is in power. what is the Holy Ghost in you for? why do you have the name of Jesus? why are angels around you 24/7? why are you winning souls?

until we show them how to rule, they cannot get it right.

Many christians have failed in their responsibility in this world instead they hide behind some scriptures (which are mis-interpreted) and toss the blames on the devil!

Imagine this:

christians are relevant in world affairs. not this world now. we are living in the era called THE REIGN OF THE GENTILES. the world has been handed to the wicked gentiles to rule
JOB 9 VS 24. The earth is given into the hand of the wicked;
right now we are living in GENTILE HEAVEN. why are we living in 'gentile heaven' ?

how can you say this? your point is that christians are dormant in world politics today or put in your opinion; they are expected to watch while the gentiles make a mess of this world for everyone?!

Christians are the reason the world has not been plunged into total chaos and bleak darkness. christians are the reason God is still interested in world affairs today then why are the christians less concerned about where they live today? the world has been delivered to us to maintain and keep in shape.

if we claim to serve so mighty a God, why should we be helpless in handling world politics the way it should be handled?

these unbels are responsible for policies that have direct impact on the propagation of the gospel today with some made to cripple or completely forestall the spread of the gospel, when are we going to have a loud voice in the affairs of the land. we have prayed, i think its time we play the game

@ buzugee so what you say is that christians are irrelevant in world affairs? i disagree with you maybe you do not understand that winning souls is not the only job we have. i think we have neglected some of our responsibilities which has now become a problem now.

@ buzugee so if we are being punished for being bad why are christians called salt and light of the world? what are they salting and lighting? show me a nation that has good moral standing before God?

val day is like an approved day for sexual immorality. many teens have this very wrong and twisted notion that whatever they can think of doing on that day is morally acceptable and generally permitted. many wait for that day to try things out.

@ buzugee so you are suggesting that we should all bear the pains and agony of bad leadership until Jesus comes back? and that christians should not vote? i disagree with you on that.

Many teens today see vals day as a legal day to mess up and you say this does not matter probably some christians agree with this too. We must take a hard stand against this and teach our kids right cos the devil has taken over that day while many think anything that happens that day is okay.

One can see that the so called catholics seem to be lost at the true meaning of valentine. Just see the post on the front page about picking val pal, where do you think such union will end? Yet some say its their time to re-kindle some love? Rubbish!!!

So cos the devil is the god of this world we should fold our hands while the unbels rule and make decisions that have adverse effects on our lives? I do not think this is right.

When will these people stop being childish in spiritual financial principles of the kingdom? Tithe and first fruit came before the law! Giving to the poor is one of the ways of plugging into the kingdoms finances.

I will give them the best education and train them in the word of God which will give them head start in life. Whatever I leave for them will only be additions to the word I have invested in them.

So how can one faithfully handle politics without getting stained?

Marrying a pastor is a calling. Its not meant for just anyone. That you desire it is not wrong but you must pray very well about it cos its a totally different ball game and you must be very vigilant and careful.

There goes another meaning for valentine. Catholics in the house please is this true or you guys really do not even have the slightest clue of what valentine really is?

The reason for this post is that I have seen an ordained pastor that went into politics with genuine intention but ended up snatching the ballot box on the day of election! He actually joined his party in rigging the election just for him to get a juicy post in the party.

My mission to the poor is not to help him in his poverty but to bring him out of his poverty, this is where the gospel comes to play. Giving to the poor is great but bringing the poor out of his poverty is greater. You cannot be poor and preach this gospel to others cos Jesus that we preach was never poor. I know of the verse you quoted but do you know that your mission to the poor is irrelevant if they do not receive the gospel. And if they receive it they will cease to be poor. I give to the poor and I do not leave them without giving them words that will being them out of poverty.

Is it possible for someone born again and full of the Holy Ghost participate in politics in this our country Nigeria or better put: can a pastor be a politician? I do not think so with the do or die attitude of politicians. How then can christians influence the polity in this country? Do we let the heathen run it and make decisions that hinder the spread of the gospel? What can we do?

Compassion for the poor does not give you better standing b4 the Master what matters is what you did with the gift of eternal life God gave you. You can keep eating your tithes for all you care but I will not stop doing it until Jesus comes. Until the poor learns to give he will remain poor no matter what you give him. The best gift you can give the poor is the gospel of abundance assured in Jesus Christ.

The christians way of celebrating it is by winning souls

Yes christians can only celebrate valentine by winning souls that same day instead of joining them win them

@ cja4real Are you aware that tithe and first fruit came before the law? now cos Jesus did not mention much about it does not necessarily mean it has been erased. let God guide you. no man called by God will prey on monies given by members.
