Rossikk: Actually, a rise in car purchases, including quality car purchases, points to a corresponding rise in consumer income, consumer spending and consumer confidence, which points to a growing/improving economy. Not true |
You are still a child and need to grow. |
@abiF Im getting tired replying this thread. I don't justify cheating, it is emotionally painful. I will suggest you hang out more with male folks (single and married). This will assist you to understand why men cheat. Some don't like it, they regret almost immediately, reasons might be peer pressure, ego, domestic frustration e.t.c It is better you know so that you can control. I don't think you giving terms to your man will solve any issue. Its the same thing as telling your dog that - you see that bone next door, if you go and eat it, no more bone for you. |
So the point of this is to get some misguided points about me right? Dude you are derailing move. I am trying to change some misconceptions here
OMG!!! laughing as I am typing this. Misconception my foot. If you say answering questions presented to you are misguided, questions about your own personality, then you have actually answered yourself. Goodluck with your passion of changing a misconception. However, when you are truly ready to know if you are a CHEAT, you can let me know young man. |
integrityfood: Sam, this matter is serious so if you have meaningful suggestion that may help, pls say something. The man just told you what to do and you are asking him to be serious. Something tells me you are the affected person. Anyways, regardless of who, the mother-in-law must leave/stop visiting. A family meeting should be held, both parties should be represented. The issue and way forward should be discussed. |
Sam Milla: This things dont just happened. Women inherit such rubbish way back down the lineage. The wife of your friend will eventually influence her daughters too unless they get married to someone who can intelligently break the chain. It's all relative. This got me cracked up. Very funny indeed. However, you delivered it the way it should be. A man must be in control of his family, let the mother-in-law face her own family. |
The answer is no
What makes you think you are not a cheat yourself? My series of questions will expose your personality. Except you choose not to answer |
What is this dude on about?
Answer the question young man |
abiL: No one is arguing that women should cheat! We are not defending women that cheats, but at the same time, we aren't condoning men that cheats. Men are not predisposed with a gene to cheat, therefore arguments that cheating is innate are void!Madam I didn't just make this up, it is a well known theory. If you are a christian or a muslim and you study the Bible/Quran, you will notice that some of your favorite male characters indulge in this old practice. And if you live in the real world like I do, you would definitely understand. While I admire your personal view, you have to wake up to reality. Men are cheats, the reason why they are might aid you prevent your man from perpetrating this century old act on you. |
All what OMOSEXY1 typed up there just seem like crap to me.
I have read your comments and you surprise me. Are you an hermaphrodite? Cos your character expression seems to be confusing. Pardon my honest question, for I would love to know the person with the I.D Mynd. You can start be answering my question and if you do find my question offensive, pardon my choice of words because I was left with no other option than the inquisitiveness to know. |
vivian chinaza: @Ogugua; oh God! You don't just get it do you! All woman are like that! Sex means something to us! Now when a woman is emotional unstable she tends to think so! A woman cannot keep having casual sex with a man and control her emotions but a man can!Hello vivian, the more I read from you the more you win my admiration. Your character depicts one who is experienced, educated yet still in touch with reality. I envisaged you as someone who will definitely have a successful and happy home, because you have taken some time out to study the minds of men and I even doubt if you are a woman. Neglect the opinions of other "alleged empowered women", I do not understand the urgent rush to label you a slave which i find hilarious. I am not surprised anyways for their role models are the Kim Kardarshians and Rihannas' of the world. On one of Monique's show, where she was talking about having a good and healthy marriage with your partner, her guest - a marriage counsellor who came along with her hubby- insist that women should know their roles, understand their men and especially stick to their roles. She specifically talked about the new enlightenment of Women Empowerment, of which she was supported by Monique. You can take your empowered mindset to your office but the moment you step your feet on that door be ready to be submissive to your man - her words. A man is ego centric and would not want to put up with someone who would constantly challenges his authority. Back to the post, cheating is not a new found disease. It has co-existed with mankind right from the beginning of time. You not comprehending its existence is nothing but an illusion. For the pretentious and hypocrites, a mere survey on Nairaland (romance and family section) would reveal to you of its existence and its major perpetrators are men. As I type this more than a million men are cheating on their current partners. LIKE IT OR NOT, MEN ARE CHEATS (INNATE OR ACTIVE) I find it funny when women claim their men are different. Some men may choose not to express this Cheat Gene maybe due to certain circumstances inhibiting/suppressing the expression of this gene. If a woman chooses to reciprocate, maybe because she now feels empowered to do so, it is her choice. However, I hope she has the emotional stability to incite her. |
ogugua88: Not all women are like this. Because women are known as the emotional species doesn't mean that all of them cling to everything and everyone. By the way, not all men are like that either. Just as people think all women care, some don't. Just as people think all men don't care, some do.Stop quoting soap operas produced and sponsored by men to change the innate psyche of women and stick to reality. |
Shollypopz: Majority of my posts were hidden, all thanks to mod killzYou are unbelievably. You have a right to demand faithfulness from your partner . You must be typing from mars. How old are you? |
GenBuhari: What practical steps do people take if any? This man if you are this disturbed why bother coming at all. Please your irrational behaviour is resulting to an irritation. Since you insist, here is my advice. If you are visiting the north, go with anti-bomb squad and JTF men as personal guards, do not go close to secluded areas at night. However, if you are not going to the north, please keep your feeble mind to yourself and get on board down south. People are hustling their bread daily, except sick peeps like boko haram, nobody will notice your entry and exit. But like I typed previously - "Except You Murdered Someone Before Fleeing". Be rest assured you would spend quality vacation time in Kirikiri MAXIMUM Prison. Or you perpetrated fraud, trust EFCC - they are everywhere and watching you. |

I don't know why people are being pessimistic. It is an obvious fact that an average Nigerian is industrious an entrepreneur thinking. Just the introduction of GSM brought about a triple effect in the country. Once the power situation is settled finally, the economical effect would be felt. I honestly know that once the power issue is resolve, the next attention is to grow the middle class and eager entrepreneurs by ensuring that our already existing micro finance banks begins to function effectively. Rather than being pessimistic, begin to think of ways to tap into the economic prosperities the country would enjoy in the future. I like the projection, however, I believe we can break through before 2050. We should embrace the report with smiles because some countries do not even know their economic fate. You can ask Portugal, Greece and Spain..... (all assumedly developed nations) |
I have been a victim around Oshodi - Apapa expressway. Very young boys, one of them came to my window indicating that he wants to eat and I should wind down. I was contemplating giving him money while the lady on my passenger side warned me not to wind down. I tried delay tactics because there was traffic. Suddenly I saw 3 other guys coming, hitting and pushing my car. I had to swerve to the other lane James Bond style. I bashed my vehicle, bad dent but I thank God. So can someone tell that Ngozi of a b.i.t.c.h that she should stop covering up the inadequacies of the Nigerian Police Force Lagos State Command |
GenBuhari: So what practical precautions should be taken?Nothing please except you murdered someone before running away. Of course there would be revenge. Chief nobody would even notice you. So I dont know what precaution you want. Stop posting craps like this. |
The poster go dey regret sey she post stuff like this. Shey una see she don go hide. But guys mek una talk true, una no worse? ![]() |
chiebube: @ademola.The man is trying to save people money. I don't think he has offended anybody and that doesn't give anyone the right to call him a scammer because he is offering a product cheaper than yours. I think I am seeing more reasons to believe him. First cars depreciates within 4 years, which means the economic useful life for a car is just for 4 years and because the white men know this, they decided to trade off their vehicles to Africa via Auction in order to make profit since there is an existing market. Now you tell me, why should I buy a vehicle that has fully depreciated for N3million? A vehicle auctioned for $4000 plus shipping $1500, clearing $3125 (all at the exchange rate of $1/N160 gives you approximately = N1,380,000 and you a cotonou autodealer sells the same vehicle for N3million that is a profit of N1,620,000 (54% profit). Truly exorbitant, don't you think so especially for a fully depreciated vehicle!!!. So when I see the word Super Clean for a vehicle model of 2008 and below I just laugh. Ademola please do your thing, be a fair businessman and with time your business will expand. Don't mind the haters!!! For those calling you a scammer, you can post your CAC registration Number and Office Address for all to go check you out. I do hope you have a registered business in Nigeria? |
Has she finished her jail time? |
Chief I have also noticed how hard you are trying to convince people on this thread. Anyways I believe you (50%) the other 50% is because I am human and want to be cautious. I will advise you do a price list for vehicles you have already, including the shipping and clearing price. I know with time you would earn your respect. Well that should be when a nairaland member has actually done business with you. But you know what I will be following this thread cos you sound convincing and a lot of auto dealers might hate you because your price looks CHEAP. Well done |
Are you just calling prices. Even Stallion Group has never sold a Brand New Passat for 9million. The current market price is 5.8million |
Why are people crying wolf over this issue. I believe it is unfair not to look at this from both ends. As an employer, after expending huge cost to train an employee in order to make an employee more valuable, the employee wakes up the next morning and go work for the next competitor. How would you as an employer feel? This is one peculiar reason employees are not considered as asset in Accounting. Would you as an employer be satisfied to spend more on employee training without gaining any value from such expense. Would you not want to protect yourself, especially when you know this training is very important to the employee and the company. People who are saying that it is unfair, please start up your own business, spend money to train your staff and immediately after the training they can go work for your competitors. PS: It is a known FACT in the banking industry that Access Bank has the best training program for Executive Trainees in the Country. You can confirm from the Human Resource/Capital Dept in any bank. |
@Poster I went through your thread and I am astonished by what you are doing. Since your deposit receipts are less than 40%, it clearly shows that you borne the risk to export your vehicles to Nigeria. Have you thought of working with banks, setting-up a vehicle finance lease company, where only persons with good credit ratings, or good jobs can patronise you. You can set-up a marketing unit with your contacts in Nigeria and they communicate their ideas to reputable companies or staff members of these companies. Let me break down the idea to you. - Your contacts can talk to these individuals (bankers, telco workers, insurance worker, oil & gas workers and even companies who might not mind to purchase clean used vehicles) - These prospective customers visits your show-room to view the car of their choice, or make a pre-order. - A finance lease agreement (monthly repayment plan plus interest). I believe your interest should cover your cost of exportation, clearing and profit. - Post-dated cheques are collected from these prospective customers. First instalment is made (which might be 20 - 30% of the cost price). If you don't like the post-dated cheque idea, an automatic direct debit line can be created between the accounts of your prospective customers and your own account - If there is a default on payment, default interest charge is levied on the customer. If the default payment persists. You reserve exclusive rights to claim back the vehicle since the title of ownership still belongs to you (regardless of the outstanding period of the lease and repayments made). Hence, you are the legal owner of the vehicle. Title documents should only be made after lease repayments. - I believe with this model, you can sell your cars faster than the competition. This also increases your liquidity, cash reserve and ensure you make constant profits annually. Remember your cars are inventories and should not be take a long time for a sale proceed to be realised, else you would start incurring cost on them (storage cost, maintenance and servicing cost, security cost etc) and otherwise would be force to sell at a price lower than cost. Also note that car models changes regularly and this has a lot to do with customer preferences and taste. - I am a Business Development Manager. I identify opportunities, propose business ideas, study market trends, identify ways to cut cost and increase profit for clients. Sincerely I don't do what I just did for free. I noticed you want to prove a point and I guess the idea above will surely do. I am not selling myself. if you like the idea, you can discuss with your bankers in US and also in Nigeria to develop the model properly for you. |
Is cultism still existing in Nigerian Universities? |
remmyton: thanks for ur insults n advice, all of them are welcome, what baffle me most is how some persons job on NL is to call people they don't know names all because they are in d same idea-sharing forum, it shows the level of IQ some, I can't blame them though. Well, I am happy I learnt from u guys, I want to say to those abusers, be still, think twice before u call someone name, cos maybe in real life, you are lower than d person u r abusing. Thanks, gotta sleep. Thanks everyoneIt clearly shows that you cannot fool people. Even without Seun Shagari fishing you out. I just had the feeling that your thread was phoney. Maybe you want to carry us along in your fantasy world. First you being a mom, now a medical student. Only God knows what next you will hit us with. When a woman tells lies in an anonymous forum, what will she tell physically? You shouldm't be saying it was a joke, you should be apologising for lying in the first place. |
I wonder why the President has not said anything about this abi the man no dey watch news or follow trend? I was even expecting to read condolence statement from Rotimi Amaechi. Why are these people mute over this ghastly nation-wide tragedy. I also wonder why the House of Assembly is yet to say anything about this ugly incidence. I also wonder why Nigerian Students are calm too. This is an avenue for public protest over the insecurity situation of the country. The use of Vigilante Groups by communities is illegal. The attention of the President and the House of Assembly is highly needed in this situation. Before, the application of Jungle Justice now serves as precedents to conflict resolution. |

Angelahoney: No I'm not. I'm as logical as you. Fact is many men think they're the only ones who can reason. They see women are emotional beings. But I expected my husband to ask me why I decided to use cat fish to cook egusi soup instead of goat meat. Many women think men can assume what they (women) think. Why would you expect your husband to ask you why you used the catfish for egusi soup. I think this is your problem with him. They are not petty things but very serious. Your actions are threatening his authority in your home. You better apologise and stick to your role as a woman since you know you cannot do without his touch for 1 week. |

@coogar I believe this should be my last post to you. When next you visit Lagos/Nigeria, try to look at things you can do for the country. You must not be present if you are so scared for your life (which I know is valueless to Lagosians because they are too busy hustling for their bread). May be a trusted friend or relative or you can partner with someone. At least when the project turns out to be successful you would be proud you contributed to the development of Nigeria. Your insults or complaints cannot solve Nigeria's problems. The same is applicable to those who insult the country whether diaspora or natives GOD BLESS NIGERIA. |
