Your VPD could have been sent to your mail and documents has also sent to the school you applied to for further process. Just been expecting final decision from the school, Uni-assist has done their part.

I uploaded on uni-aasist, and sent to uni-assist via ems in V.I and for more than two weeks now nothing, went to their office the say the docs is in Germany, mailed uni-assist, uni-assist are saying they have not received any documents, that if they receive it, they will notify me, on ems site if u track it, it's just in bagged, DHL is expensive I should hv used dhl

Guy your documents is with Uni-assist just be patient, Uni-assist did the same thing for me, I was so worry until they acknowledged it on 20th of March that received my documents since 9th of March and i sent it 28th of march which I do mail them saying not receive.
All the documents I sent to Germany I do use NIPOst #1500 to 2k, though they do give maximum of 3weeks but mine do use 9 to 11 working days.

I just got admitted to the MSc Economics programme of FSU, Jena and I have been trying to book appointment with the German embassy. I got this from there site: 'Registration to apply for a long term visa / more than 90 days for family reunion ONLY (NO STUDENTS / NO WORK PERMIT etc.)' Is this the new process to get appointment or the old method still works. Kindly help me out. The challenge I had last year was late admission.

My dear wonderful people of this forum, I applied for the International Business and Sustainability Masters program in Universitat Hamburg and submitted before the March 31st deadline but couldn't add my VPD because uni-assist had not sent it before deadline. Behold, on the 1st of April uni-assist suddenly remembered me and sent the VPD to me. I used the contact form on the University's website to send them an epistle on why I did not send it before the deadline but they didnt reply.

I called uni-assist to intimate them of my predicament but their response was not favourable. I sent the university another mail but this time they responded that the terms were clearly stated in the application procedure and that their contract with uni-assist may be considered while deciding my case since I submitted my credentials to them before the deadline. Naim I begin dey turnonmyowno.

I checked the application portal twice after I applied but didnt notice anything until this morning when I decided to check again and saw that my application status had changed to Receive. To the glory of God I click on the document icon and saw that they had sent me a mail since April 9th confirming my application.

Abeg make una help me give this great God many Tuales!

I think it required English test because I applied through Uni-assist but Uni-assist said I didn't qualified for their English requirement.
You can still try since it is free under Uni-assist

My interview was on April 2nd 2019

So I arrive at the embassy at some minutes after 5. I met one security man and told him I have an appointment by 7am, he told me to go and come back by 6:30am, so I went to the park and waited till it was about 26 minutes after 6, so I decided to stroll down to the embassy, I got there and found about 5 people in line already and joined, I looked forward and saw one slender, not too fair, bald man at the entrance arranging chairs and documents, I immediately knew that is the legendary Mr paulinus.

Mr Paulinus first handled family reunion people before he went over to student visa people and I was second in line, when it got to my turn, Mr Paulinus asked for everything even up to NYSC certificate and beyond, he said bring every thing one at a time and arrange them on the chair Original-photocopy- photocopy like that. I brought out all the document he asked for except primary school certificate or testimonial and by God's grace I still scaled through.

So I was ushered in asked to sign-in I was number one on that list. Inside the embassy compound the security man asked me to follow a green line painted on the floor to a waiting room, I did got in to the room the security man ushered me into room 4, I went in and met a young dark skin lady as my VO.
She asked me to bring out my documents. I did and presented it to her the way Mr Paulinus arranged it three set original-photocopy-photocopy like that, she asked for two passports (by the way don't staple your passport to the application form use paper clip), I gave her, she asked for the application fee, I brought out the money and gave her, she took my finger prints, she gave me receipt and two documents to confirm if the information on it is correct and sign, which I did .

I presented two international passport to her initially so she asked why do I have two valid passports, I told her the old one did not meet the requirement it won't be valid for 3 months by the time I will be leaving (my old passport was still valid till September 2021 and my program will be rounding up that same period and the requirement is that the passport must cover your period of stay and still have up to 3 months validity by the time you will be leaving), she said ok.

Me: okay, so I booked for appointment using my old passport, hope it won't affect anything.
VO: she said no

I thanked her and took my leave, the securities asked how it went and for money. I gave no one a dime cos I wasn't sure who was watching or if it was a setup or a test.

Mr Paulinus never changeth his gra gra is new every morning, just do what he tell you to do. Drop your strong head and pride at home, the man can make you loose balance, make you disorganized by his shout and commands.

Hallo,
I think the universität Hamburg sends the document when you've been accepted by the department . Also I think you should take note of the date the university will publish admission letter so that you can start now to scout for a date for the visa interview (few days after the proposed date for the publishing of admission letters ).
Remember that the universität Hamburg do not extend enrollment deadline though it can also be done by proxy, so they expect that you start everything regarding visa matters once the first document is sent.

It is clearly stated that u can use this to apply for a student application visa...the thing is in our country, the embassy doesn't issue dat kind of visa...so u must wait until u get an admission letter before u can apply for a visa interview. For normal student visa

I think your school may be referring to a German Student Applicant Visa. It is different from a German Student Visa. Some countries process the German Student Applicant Visa for prospective students but I've never heard about it being done in Nigeria. In fact it's not even one of the categories in the appointment booking system. I'd advice you to read the email again and make sure.

Let me wait till May that they will decide on their final decision, I think is not too late to book appointment.

All I have to say is thank you lord". I would love to say that these last past years has been challenging, rigorous, tasking and tiring. The best news that I could ever receive is "Dear Sir, you visa is ready, you can pick it up tomorrow by 9am"

The journey to this minding blowing message did not just start last week or last month or even 6 months ago. It started sometimes around April 2017, when my dad changed his mind about studying in USA for Germany especially due to my course of study in school (B.Sc. Computer Science) .

He gave me the how modernised their economy story was and how technologically inclined they have moved to being one Of The best in Europe and arguably in the world.

I tried to give him the how hard people have been saying the process is frustrating and very long. But my father is the most strong willed person I have ever seen in my life. He said whatever it takes we would give it to it. He later told me of someone he knows who lives there and said that it's going to be the best of my story.

Yes, I loved the idea but why must we stress ourselves Was The bell ringing in my head for the first couple of months. I later had go give in. Got my transcript and later have to consult the guy in Germany for assistance in arranging myself for certifying my documents. I did that with ease and I thought it was all that bad after all. After I certified it I applied through uni-assit to four school.

The first three schools after all my documents have been sent rejected me and the least Of The schools I excepted to accept me did and with that I couldnt but felt joy in my heart. The school sent my admission letter to my c/o and then the student visa acquisition started.

With all these in mind I thought to myself, " What is really hard in this German visa self?
Little did I know that I was being prepared to see how strong I am.

June 2018, the next line of action was to get the acclaimed block account, I saw many ways but my dad and I discussed and ended up deciding to open it with Duestche Bank (due to online things, he claimed others can and could be hacked) one word " not safe". Knowing this, we had to find ways to fund a Ni8geria Account and send it to Germany to open the block account. After like A month and the half of sourcing. We finally had it and was ready to apply with other documents.

I got to the embassy here in Abuja and they told me that the form I filled had errors and I was suppose to write €8640 not just €8000 after waiting like two 2weeks to get appointment.

I went back again and correct it, scheduled another one for the following week and was prepared. On getting there my mind was around October as stated on my admission letter and was still in range. I won't for the appointment and nothing was wrong. And paid the money and was asked to contact the db bank for further info. Well I already read that. Not shortly after two weeks or so. I received this devastating mail that "My request to open a block account failed. Due to my mistake of not clearly stating the sponsor of my studies in the evidence sent ". I couldn't believe it. Just because of a simple mistake of not writing a name it was rejected.

At this point I got a glimpse of what is coming and I knew I had to be strong and also just could not stop laughing. Later that week I just had to send another one and this time I just prayed that they don't give another story.

I did all was required and everything went well from the embassy here. After like another two weeks, I had to received another very crazy mail Of The same db bank stating " your request to open a block account has failed due to the use of old forms" that I submitted. Immediately I just had to leave what I was doing out of frustration. I told my dad and we just started talking about how mindless these people are and how non informative they can be and bare in mind the money to send these documents to Germany are wasted. Checking the mail again they didn't even send the correct form. I just LAUGHED and angrily went to bed at this point I was fed up.

But you see, when u have a stubborn father like mine, the ginger he gives makes u wanna do more. We finally surfed for the new form and then we got it. He still went on with the never give up story. Mind you. I don tayah.

We did same thing and sent it again. After like A month after my supposed registration date to the course they finally open the block account and the I had to email the school for deferment. They didn't even reply not until this year January, 2019

I applied for winter semester 2019. But they me summer . I guess they didnt have student for that semester. So yet again we started finding ways to meet up with deadlines and also funding account.

You see Nigeria is something else. Policy upon policies that prevented us from transferring to the account and it took close to three weeks to finally get alert from db.

Finally, we are set to book appointment and sure they would reply. Sent my documents to the embassy through mail and within 3 hours I was booked for interview on the 20 of February. I for once was never scared and everything went well. The woman told me that all is well. Smiled and gave me the assurance that they would call me. Infact, that Was The only time I was relieved after closed to year.

Getting home I was glad, I knew I did well.

After like two weeks, I was worried, still no call. I have be keeping my phone charged everyday. Infact made sure I did press it but only do important things.

3 weeks went
4 weeks haaaaa

And German embassy have specifically told us that we can't contact them during the processing Of The visa. I just couldn't do anything .
I saw an email on the website and tried to compose something and still no reply

The fifth week came and on that Friday

I got this thing in me to reload my mail. The network misbehaved. I left it and did other this. Later came back and still the same urge to open the mail box was in me. I changed position and VIOLA. I say a title "YOUR VISA APPLICATION"

I didn't even read it, jumped out to call my dad, THESE PEOPLE HAVE REPLIED OHHH. I was haaaaapppy.
Later read it and was asked to bring my travel insurance.

My brother and sisters in not for anything. This process has taught me patience. Lots and lots of patiences. Please I beg you don't give up. Like my story I am but very happy to share it. Let your mind be fixed in achieving it and by the grace of God you shall get it.

Thank you Brother mine was transcript and BSc cert.
And yet is same certification use for proficiency letter and waec. Those people are just doing whatever they like. Treating our applications with disdain on top €75.

I also used the same certification at the first time but they complained only two documents, so I have to complIed with their rules.
Please just use another certification for the two documents and resend it.
Try to let them know your school deadline because I inform them about my which was 31 March and they sent me VPD on FRIDAY 29 they addressed it to particular school.

From Federal Ministry of Education, Abuja and is just #500 but you must authenticate your credentials before you can request for it, just go with 5k for everything and make sure you do the three photocopies of each of your credentials and also go with your international Passport .

I did it in Abuja because am staying there, so you can try State min of edu in where you stay.

Had same issue bro except the federal high court is no longer a public authority. It's crazy mine is even pass the deadline. Have Sha contacted them through the contact form. Kindly share how you recertify yours for acceptance.

I was the one that made mistakes, I certify my documents with both Notary public and High Court stamp so after Unit-assist complained I later used only Notary public, they also complained about my English proficiency that I collected from my University which it wasn't detail by my University no period of studies there, just mention the graduated year, so I quickly collected another one from Federal Ministry of Education which was details from elementary school to University it even said English is an official Language in Nigeria.
I certifies both B.Sc. Certificate and English as a Medium of instructions by only Notary Public and I re-sent it which was accepted by Uni-assist.

Please try to know where you made mistake or read the mail they sent to you and do the necessary thing.

Try to re-certify your transcript and send it before the deadline.

It happened to me B.Sc.certificate and Language proficiency they complained not well authenticated or missed and I sent it again, They just sent me my VPD last Friday.

So I advise you to re-send it.

looking at the possibility of you getting a job easily after spending money studying that course of yours, unless you don already do your own research anyway, or maybe you want enter academic line.

Print 2 copies of your application form. Sign the both of them and add it to your certified copies. Mail it to them.

Please also want to apply to FAU by April, which certificate I.e High court, embassy, Notary Public or Federal Min of Education are they accept.

If you check it by using phone it would be faulty but if you use laptop it would be incomplete App, so try to mail them and ask why.
During my own they mail me to send additional documents, which I did, they just confirmed it yesterday but my status haven't change yet and am very sure it would change soon base on the acknowledgement mail I received.

Certification in high court Maitama it doesn't have red staple, which I don't know if it will be accepted, you can try Notary public over there, that's what I used.

Please if you want to send documents to Uni assist let me know so that we can send it together to minimize cost, I'm also in Abuja.
