Revolution2022:Stop accusing someone you know nothing about. This is a fallacy of argumentum ad populum. |
This woman should be heard and Eko hotels should release the CCTV video to the police without delay. Women do not deserve this kind of oppression in our society. Men should stop acting like lose dogs! and people should not disregard when a woman complains, let everything be put to bare and let us judge it. If she is lying then the CCTV would show this. EKO HOTEL management should do the right thing asap. |
Kasaliola:Send me a message, let us schedule a counseling session with you and your wife. This is not something you can overcome in one day or change by a simple message here. Are you a Christian, if yes then be prayerful and study scriptures. These spiritual activities would change you from inside out. If you really need a quick answer here, you can start with taking a decision to never hit your wife no matter what. Stay blessed. |
Hello nairaland! I am in Nigeria for a short vacation but I want to use this time to get the one-shot Johnson and Johnson vaccine. Please where can I get this in Nigeria? Which state? Which hospital? Doctors in the house what would you advice? Thank you. Lalasticlala please assist. |
People talking here from lack of experience. Get married first and then come back to read the post slowly. It is very okay, many couples do this if you love each other..you can do it under the shower or something..the flow can be a good lubricant sef..lol...anyhow, just do you..don't use this as an excuse to commit adultery!!! |
Please does any one know a way to get mobile network in a location, like a village where there the mobile network is not strong? I need MTN network is a village like Ozanogogo, Delta State. Apparently, MTN is not everywhere you go ![]() Please let me know. |
Toktee:Are you married?? Our people say, who no go no know...dear poster, avoid listening to people who are inexperienced and do not understand what marriage is. |
Dear poster, This is an easy problem to resolve. I am sharing this with you as someone who also supports the wife monthly. You have given her 50k for the past two years? From your perspective are prices still same across Nigeria in the last two years? Inflation is on the high side and you need to consider her request more compassionately. Here is what you can do. Both of you should seat and plan how to increase your family income. Either she starts a business or you check for a new job. You need to respond to her more compassionately showing that you understand that things are on the high side. Responding without compassion would make her feel you think she is spending your money on something else or stealing from you. God has special favour on the marriage union when the couples are united. So you should both agree and pray on how to increase your income. This can be resolved easily. God bless your home. |
GardenOfGod:When are we going to agree that the current arrangement of Nigeria is a scam?? What kind of country is this? Oil prices go up wahala, oil prices come down wahala...which one dey favour us ni?? |
NovesaTillie:Capital NO...Don't even entertain it. You already made the mistake of allowing him get into your head with his "doing stuff" for you but now don't let him get into your heart because you may get hurt before you are able to get off this slippery slope. The disadvantages of accepting this proposal far outweigh any advantage or pressure you may feel because of your age. Pray that God would bring your own. Marrying him is spiteful to your sister, even if she may not tell you directly but she would be very disappointed that you would even have such thought for a man she once loved while she is still alive. Your sister may even begin to entertain thoughts that both of you had affection for each other while they were still married. She may even think you are the reason they are separated and why he is adamant on getting back.. Please get off this bus fast before it crashes! |
SATANICALLY:Sahara Reporters, probably wrote this before reading about the current crisis rocking CNN as prophesied by Apostle Suleiman. Well, I don't know if all these are true prophets. Not every prophecy comes to pass the sense of how you want it...some are revelations given so prayers can be offered for redemption. Some of the prophecies mentioned here were conditioned on prayers. PS: on4a means One Nigeria 4 all |
kennyz247:But the so called vaccinated also stand a chance to get myocarditis, blood clots and other possible complications...and this vaccines are not preventive mind you...let us call a spade a spade and not a gardening tool....The so called vaccines are only treatments and calling it a vaccine only worsens issues because people go out with a false sense of protection while they keep spreading it....Okay, if your vaccine is protective, then why worry about the unvaccinated? Doesn't make sense.. |
JAMB officials or the officer who coined this rule must be very stupid. Is the NCDC bigger than the Nigerian constitution? How can a government parastatal unilaterally force a medical procedure on people, a medical procedure that is not even widely available or produced locally? Can they not observe social distancing and masking at least? This people must be really sick and they want the masses to flare up. I just hope they can retrace their steps asap. The vaccination does not even stop spread, so on what grounds is JAMB enforcing these vaccinations? The majority of people who deal with JAMB are young people who are not even at risk of severe disease or JAMB officials don't know how to read data? They only know how to make snakes and monkeys swallow public funds. If JAMB is so concerned about the health of the people, is JAMB aware that malaria kills more Africans than COVID? When last did they encourage cleaner cities to avoid Mosquito lava clusters that create these plasmodium carriers? Or JAMB is not aware that mosquitos can transmit malaria plasmodium from one patient to another? JAMB should retrace their steps immediately and stop pushing this western tyranny to Africa. This is an unrestrained display of western stupidity and fear mongering. It has no place in our society. There are other treatment regimens for COVID (just like the so called "vaccines" , yes these current therapies are not vaccines because obviously they stop nothing except severe disease, which is even still arguable) and COVID is not a death sentence! |
Richvibes1997:You have some points but this is a fundamental problem that has brought the nation to where it is today. People blaming government and no one taking responsibility for their life. Until the youth takes responsibility for their life and says, yahoo is not an option, they won't be able to see the opportunities lurking around them. If they can buy data to bomb, does the government stop them from learning a skill and be a freelancer to get jobs from around the world? Of course, we pray for a better government and that time would come as we continue to participate in the political process as responsible citizens. For now, young people need to take responsibility to work hard honestly, acquire skills and be patient till the reward comes. |
godwinboy:Yahoo is not to escape poverty but to escape laziness and ignorance. If it's to escape poverty, why not learn a tech skill with your data you use for bombing? Why not learn bricklayer work, carpentry, tailoring, soap making, or shoe making? In the old days, I know one of my Father's friend who built houses with shoe making, my uncle built a big house with carpentry..Mama Chukwubueze trained her four children with Akara. The problem with this indomie generation now is impatience, laziness and ignorance. Yahoo cannot be a way to escape poverty because you are robbing people and there would be consequences for you and your generation. There has never been a time when wealth has been more democratize than in our generation, you can basically learn any wealth building skill, on YouTube, through Google etc. yet this lazy generation think they can build wealth by robbing others of their hard earned income and even worse still taking the life of others... There would be no place for Yahoo in the new Nigeria that is coming, there would be no reward for laziness, stupidity and ignorance. The EFCC and Anticorruption network would be very advanced with sophisticated technologies to bring down all your yahoo networks. Learn a skill now if you want to be relevant in the future. Condolences to the family. |
morinto:Hahaha..is the covid restriction in UK up to half what we are facing in Canada? You see? Your assumption is that I am speaking from Nigeria or may because I want to visit UK...I am only speaking based on data, if the ban was justified, there would be no need to shout..when the Delta was raging in India, they banned India because cases were high and deaths were also high...comparing that time to now, the ban is useless and only money driven because the so called omicron is already spreading in these countries....well, I am not also saying they should not protect their country...I am only saying Africa needs to have some balls and also ban these people...going by the data, Nigeria should have banned the UK a long time ago..they have more cases, more deaths and possibly more variants.....so we need to protect African and ban these countries so our people can start looking for home grown solutions...it is now clear to the third world leaders that globalization is a farce..all nations their own selfish interests..period.. |
morinto:How to know intellectually bankrupt people, they always commit argumentum ad hominem..don't be those people. You can't state your point without trying to belittle my age. I am very sure I have more data about this pandemic than you... Have you compared the covid cases in Nigeria to the number of cases in the UK? Have you compared the death rate and treatment rate between both countries? Is the new variant only in Nigeria? How did the new variant get to South Africa? Are there no testing and health measures at point of entry? There is no science to support this mass hysteria right now..did South Africa not say the cases are mild? If you understand the law of declining virulence which the media would not tell you, you would know that banning countries after two years since a pandemic started is only politics and most likely the politics of vaccination... |
RevolverOcelot:If you say so but Africa needs to stand up..let the UK be on notice that we would never forget this day...we should also ban Nigerians from going to school in the UK..and Canada..ban all public officials from going to any of these countries for medical help...we must stop all Nigerian naira from flowing into any of these God forsaken countries....if there is anything I have forgotten to ban, let me know so we can also recommend the ban... Until we ban all these things and fight back, Africa cannot be great... Na pikin wen stop to suck breast milk dey grow... |
If the UK does not remove this ban, we should ban the premiership from being shown on Nigerian TV channels, we should stop selling crude oil to them, we should ban British airways from Nigerian air...Africa needs to grow some balls and start giving it back to these spoilt brats western nations...rubbish.. |
ReubenE: which kain nansense be that..abeg make them getat.... |
She no sabi hide vex...this one need help to sustain that marriage. Luckily she married a playful man. Hope she is not OCD or something like that..she would likely have to go for therapy to help herself and her husband! EDIT: Is it really just the tradition? Okayy...God bless their union. Make elders revisit this kind tradition abeg..wedding day na happy day.. |
Lovethaa:Except you are a Christian who understands the mystery of Christ's forgiveness and God deals with your heart, you cannot forgive her or see her beyond her past. If not you would start to do the work of the devil as the accuser of the brethren. |
It is really surprising that ASUU, an academic body has degenerated so low and its activities are now baseless and even more destructive to the Nigerian Education System. How has ASUU ensured that universities properly manage the billions they have received in the past? Why have those monies not built hostels comfortable for students? Is it rocket science or do you need trillions of naira to build libraries conducive for students? Every time it is one payment or the other and then they mask that request with a supposed claim for students' welfare. Shame on ASUU. Shame on NANS, they have refused to even mediate and stand for the students. I believe the only solution to the nigerian tertiary education problem is for government to go into a public-private partnership to privatise these universities and save the Nigerian education system from it's current rot. This is a downward spiral if nothing happens urgently. |
talk2me2:Okay, thanks for the replies |
What's going on with meristem sending a link for client update form over the weekend? https://forms.meristemng.com/client-update-form/? Is this legit? Too much details being requested and I just wonder why I can't update this directly on my meritrade online account. |
qtx:It is not about him being a white man or not, would the blacks support him first? |
ijustdey:This is the problem with Nigeria and Nigerians. We would not look into the veracity of this information now by confirming from his publications if he truly patented this. We would rather spew rubbish and dismiss his claims. I remember Prof. Abalaka, Nigerians threw away the baby and the bath water in that case too. Prof. Maurice Iwu is an astute researcher and I would give him the benefit of doubt to confirm his claim. |
alBHAGDADI:Not even the power of sin, that was why God commended His love to us even while we were sinners. But to still think ot teach a believer can be held by the power of sin is contradictory to the gospel. |
Hello alBaghaddi, I hope this can help you understand what you wrote better. You said it doesn't teach a licence to sin but you give a licence for sin with these words: '..a believer would make heaven no matter how sinful he gets" This is a big lie because a believer makes heaven because the body of sin has been nailed to the cross so he can serve God in righteousness. A believer making heaven despite his sins is contradictory because Christ has already purged sin in his/her heart. |
Smith234:I remember someone told me a friend was taken to see a native doctor for yahoo plus but the native doctor told him there was no money in his future and so he cannot help him. What Apostle said is just a confirmation and really not far from the truth. |
Dshocker:na only understand the witchcraft going on in that hoouse, Nigerians are so religious but unspiritual. The thing is working against her las las |
Dear OP, be wary of public counsel that can harm your marriage especially as we have limited info. To answer you, your husband is a nice man but has a psychological challenge and cannot help himself. See Tara and Fela Durotoye's advice here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lk2DmuGSCRI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3OKwOBmDkI Talk to him when he is happy and identify the triggers of his malice, it may even be from where he works. It may even be memories or just anything. Help him overcome this, recommended actions: 1. Pray together always. 2. See a counsellor or discuss marriage videos or books that could help 3. Schedule outings or dates, weekly or monthly 4. Again, pray together always. I hope this helps. |
