The Nigerian mum who glowed on her son’s arm to the the altar said after the beautiful ceremony:

“My life is a testimony, at 42 with four beautiful children when my ex left, he told me ‘who will want you with four kids?’

“But to God be the glory, Olowogbogboro gave me a God fearing man and here I am today.

“So dreams do come true. Faithful God. Thanks.”

The mom of four said after the ceremony… “So dreams do come true…” Yes it actually does!

According to the wedding photographer, the love shared by the couple couldn’t be hidden.

“The groom was overwhelmed and very happy,” he says.

According to a UPP delegate, Peter wh narrated that the problem started when some delegates drafted across the 21 LGAs of the state challenged a compromised delegate list for the election.

Quoting CFRmagazine.com, Some of the delegates claimed their names were missing from the list which triggered a protest that attracted the men of the Nigeria police who fired teargas to disperse them. A ward chairman from Nkwelle Ezunaka in Oyi local government identified as Uwakwe Mmaduabukwu collapsed immediately and died. All efforts to revive him proved abortive. Many others were reportedly injured.

“UPP primaries turns bloody as Uwakwe Maduabuchi, the ward chairman of Owerre Ezukala ward 1 is confirmed dead as a result of police brutality.

“This ward chairman was protesting the shortchanging of his ward executives by the National leadership of the party.

“I don’t know what else to say. Tears is all over my eyes as the crop of retarded old men that parade as leaders in Igboland are not only shameless, they’re are evil and money gluttons,” Mr Okolidoh said.

A cable thief has been apprehended in Umuchu, Anambra state for stealing wires which are used to spread power in the community, According to the facebook user who shared the information, The Umuchu community have recently recorded so much of her electrical cables, and other community owned gadgets.

Reports say the community has charged the local Vigilante group to bring those responsible for the vandalism to book, Unfortunately, A culprit presented himself yesterday and the community has insisted he must name his partners in crime since it is not understandable that an individual can successfully accomplish such act without accomplice.

But i think eating rats is to be avoided simply because they eat human garbage. They are likely to have consumed pesticides, heavy metals, human excrement and all sorts of other garbage that you really don’t want to be eating.

Super of Eagles of Nigeria head coach, Gernot Rohr, has revealed that goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama will return to the national team once he is fully fit.

In 2015, Enyeama who presently has been axed by his club in France, Lille, announced his retirement from the national team, a day after he was officially stripped of the captain’s armband for the Super Eagles.

He reportedly had an altercation with former Coach of the Super Eagles, Sunday Oliseh, and took to his Instagram page to announce that he is no longer available for national team duties and would henceforth face his club career.

He wrote, “I have fought a good fight for more than 13years.I have finished my course, I have kept the faith and sang the anthem with passion. henceforth, there is laid for me a crown which only GOD can reward me for my 13years of national services. God bless NIgeria.

“Henceforth, I am no more the captain of the NIgerian senior football team, I am no more the goalie of the team. I am out of the team. I am no more available for international duties.

But in a recent interview with Owngoalnigeria.com, Coach Rohr revealed that once Enyeama returns to full fitness and also sort out the issues of finding a new club, he is confident he will return to the team.

“The true position is that I have a good relationship with Enyeama and he has a problem with the federation (NFF) before I came on board as coach. When I called him and he said there’s a problem with the federation, I cannot come at the moment,” Rohr stated.

“When I call him again, he asked to take some leave for his injury. I think the situation is a little bit different because some players who don’t want to play for their national team can change their mind.

“But unfortunately the injury of Vincent means he cannot come for this game against Cameroon, not only that he also has to find another club because his club bought two other goalkeepers. “So he cannot play at the moment at his club, he must be fit first and also find another club then hopefully he will be motivated to come back to the national team.”

The alleged target in the St. Philip’s Catholic Church August 6 shooting at Ozubulu, Anambra State, Aloysius Ikegwuonu, alias Bishop, has asked monarchs in the state to use traditional approach to expose the perpetrators of the heinous act.

He stated this on Wednesday when monarchs in the state paid a condolence visit to the traditional ruler of Ozubulu, Igwe Nnamdi Oruche.

The monarchs were led by the traditional ruler of Iseke, Igwe Emma Nnabuife.

He said, “I implore you my lords to ask the gods of the land to reveal the perpetrators of this dastardly act.”

He said since the traditional rulers were custodians of tradition and spiritual leaders, they should pray to the gods of the land and use seers to find the killers of the worshippers and bring them to justice.

Ikegwuonu said he was surprised that people started making negative comments against him in the media when the incident occurred instead of helping to provide useful information on how to get the killers.

He warned those who were making negative statements against him to desist from such, stressing, “I have not offended anybody.”

Ikegwuonu commended the traditional rulers for their visit and concern as well as the fatherly role they had played since the attack.

Responding, Igwe Oruche, commended his colleagues for their solidarity and concern over what happened in his community.

He said the Ozubulu community would make its own arrangements in a traditional way to getting to the root of the killings.

Second runner up on the December 2013 Anambra governorsip election, Dr Ifeanyi Ubah who ran under the Labour Party slate have submitted a well filled party nomination form for the November 18 Anambra governorship election.

Meanwhile, Yesterday reports said, The Police have apprehended some suspects allegedly involved in the church massacre of 12 people at the St. Philips Catholic Church in Ozubulu area of Anambra State.

The state governor, Willie Obiano, who visited the scene of the attack had promised that investigations would commence immediately to bring the perpetrators to book.

Giving an account of the incident on Sunday, the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr Garba Umar, told Channels Television that the gunmen went into the church during an early morning mass and shot sporadically at worshippers.

He further explained that the attack was not unconnected to what he described as gang violence between some indigenes of the state.

“Information further revealed that this is not unconnected to a kind of a ‘gang war’ between indigenes of the state – the children of the same village – who are engaged in a warfare outside Nigeria, precisely in South Africa”.

He left the Banking System to join the Nigerian politics and in 2013 contested the November 16, 17 and 30 Anambra State gubernatorial elections on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA. He won the election and was sworn in on March 17, 2014 to succeed Peter Obi.


As at today, He is one of the few governors who still pay civil servants and on time.

The Ozubulu community in Ekwusigo local government area of Anambra State were this morning thrown into mourning as a gun man walked into St Philip’s Catholic Church and started shooting sporadically, killing 11 and injuring 18 persons

On hearing the sad development, Governor Obiano stormed the scene to ascertain the level of damage and sympathize with the people.

Speaking at the Church premises, the governor revealed that preliminary security investigations show that the shooting was caused by a feud between two brothers from the community living outside Nigeria

The students of Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe in Anambra state, today stormed Awka to protest the exorbitant school fees and transport fares.



A student who spoke to Naaija.com said that they currently pay not less than N100,000 as school fees. NOCEN, a state owned tertiary institution which has a proposed bill on the floor of the National assembly for upgrade to a federal university of education sponsored by Dr Tony Nwoye. the member representing Anambra East and West Federal Constituency.



Reacting to the agitation, The media assistant to the governorship aspirant on the APC slate, Mazi Chidi Orjika said..

Gov Willie Obiano and his Apga government shouldn't have sabotaged the ongoing efforts by Dr Tony Nwoye to upgrade the Nwafor Orizu College of Education Nsugbe to federal University of education.

According to him, The upgrade of Nwafor Orizu College of Education Nsugbe to federal University of Education will help to reduce the school fees.

The media aide of the state governor had earlier released a statement notifying the public on the state government intention to upgrade the college to a state university of education
