3. The Governor is an individual and can support Ifeanyi but that cannot guaranty safe passage for Ifeanyi because others like me will contest.
4. Ifeanyi ought to know that the Governor cannot decree a party ticket in a democracy even the Governor went to primaries screening etc
5. I did not hear that the party Chairman was a party to that discussion and he is the one man who signs the list of candidates together with the Secretary.

I want to believe that at best Governor promised him support but not a guarantee that he will win. It is just beyond me that someone will actually act on such statement to believe that he has an automatic ticket.

I believe that Ifeanyi Ubah knows that no one can give him an automatic ticket and that he is as ready as I am for the primaries.

All in all I am still alarmed that someone exercised that level of indiscretion to publish such recording.

...party chairmen reject Ngige, move to support Ebele Obi.

It was a near-free-for-all at the home of Dr Chris Nwabueze Ngige as APC local govt chairmen rejected his senatorial bid, AIF Media can confirm.

AIF Media gathered that on Monday, August 20, 2018 the minister for Labour and Productivity, Dr Chris Nwabueze Ngige convened a meeting of all the 7 local govt chairmen of APC, their deputies and the secretaries in his Alor country home.

Ngige convened the meeting to formally inform the local govt party executives of his intention to contest for Anambra central senatorial election.

At the meeting, a source told AIF Media that Ngige informed the party leaders that he has been anointed by Mr President to emerge as the next senate president in the 9th Assembly. He urged them to queue into the project and ensure the party ticket is reserved for him.

Trouble started when the party chairmen told Ngige that they will not assure him of automatic ticket since Hon Ebele Obi is also contesting while Ekwunife has not been firm on her intention.

According to AIF Media source, Ngige was furious over their position especially as they told him that Hon Ebele Obi has firm control of the majority of the delegates in Anambra central.

The angry minister was alleged to have told the APC leaders at the meeting that they insulted him by saying that he would contest the party primaries with Ebele Obi. The minister who didn't hide his anger went further to state that as the APC leader in the state, that if it were in a Yoruba land, no one would contest APC ticket with him.

He said he was disappointed in the party leaders and fumed that if it should be in the southwest, Hon Ebele Obi would have been chased out of Anambra state for daring to contest the party ticket with him.

He was alleged to have said that he knew all those behind Hon Ebele Obi and named Barr Mrs Sharon Ikeazor as the brain behind his rival. The visibly angry minister conclusively conceded to the choice of the people, when hinted that he would rescind his intention and return to Abuja to join Mr President's campaign team, if he can't be returned unopposed.

A member of Hon Ebele Obi Support Group reacting to the incident said, the APC Leader should stop inciting party members against Hon Ebele Obi. He advised him to avail himself and stand for a free and fair primaries.

AIF Media had earlier reported that Hon Ebele Obi is the man to watch in Anambra central. He is here to rescue APC Anambra Central against the grip of APGA and Umeh.

With Ngige already afraid of standing against him at the party primaries, the new David of APC is on his way to win Anambra central senatorial election.

Give Police slain Citizen Nonso Onyeme Justice

This is Citizen Nonso Micheal Onyeme he was gruesomely murdered by the Metro Patrol Police Awka. The killer after killing Nonso was unremorseful,poised to kill again. "If you near me I go waste you" were his exact words to me. I shouted and pleaded to them to at least take him to the hospital as he bled profusely live fast ebbing out of his unconscious life,they refused,shot in the air and flee in two pick up vans.

Nonso posed no threat to them at all,the Police was at the check point intimidating motorists and abusing people,I can't even believe that they insisted that I part with bribe even when the papers to my vehicle is complete. "you want show us you sabi right abi,when I am through with you today na water water you go dey shit" officer Emerghene Benaro threatened me,before one of them killed Nonso. All the members of that team are criminals armed legitimately with AKs.

Nonso was killed,another was wounded in the face as the bullet that sent Nonso to an excruciating painful untimely grave grazed his face and pierced Late Nonso's skull.

My driver gave them a chase as they escaped,according to my driver,the killer cop who was sitting at the truck of the pick up was gesturing to shoot him still,but he remained resolute and chased them until the wounded(the second one wounded on the face) started losing consciousness due to loss of blood,they have to abandon the chase and take him to ODUMEGWU OJUKWU TEACHING HOSPITAL AMAKU. up till now we can't really say what the police are doing with the investigation.

I was there,I witnessed everything,it is so traumatizing,my day was disrupted by the police on 7/8/2018 but the life of a fellow youth was disrupted forever by the men who should safe guard that life including any property he may owned. Nonso left a son of about 3 or 4 and no wife. How will that boy perceive the police in his country for the rest of his life. I am traumatized by what I witnessed. It seems like a scene from a movie about ISIL.

I don't know Nonso from Adam but his condition could be anyone's if we don't at least try to take killers out of the UNIFORM and legitimate RIFLES. CITIZEN NONSO's unfinished life is one death too many in the hands of rogue cops. Bad eggs who rubbishes the sincere efforts of patriotic policemen and policewomen. Nonso can't fight or speak for himself,he is gone! Gruesomely murdered,ended with his dreams,ambitions and aspirations. He took with him to numerous potential solutions he may have proffered to Nigerias problems if he lived.

They gave best reggae award to 2 face. With all due respect to the 2 face brand, I doubt if Tuface ought to win that award where there was a Patoranking or Runtown there.

Tekno produced the smashing hit "IF" for Davido but they chose kiddominant to pick that award.

Phyno had a great last year but they felt Reminisce is better off.

Zoro ought to win rookie of the year, Zoro did amazing stuff last year but nothing to compensate him.

I do not usually discuss IPOB.

But let me make this remark.

There were reported killing of IPOB members at Ugwuocha in Rivers state on the guise of celebrating the election victory of President Trump.

The IPOB members who celebrated the victory of Trump were hopeful or rather brainwashed into believing that the US president will stand with them.

However, the inability of the same Trump to make mention of that incident or make any remark on the activity of IPOB during his meeting with President Buhari is an indication that our youths are under brainwash.

Those brainwashing our Igbo youths give them false hope that all major countries and leaders are with them.

Those who bombed the home of the Ohaneze President, John Nwodo are likely to be under the same brainwash.

Our youths are being misled heavily. They are against genuine Igbo leaders who mean well for Igbo agenda while becoming victims to those brainwashing them.

Trump praised Buhari for his administration's fight against corruption in Nigeria. The "world president " also said, the USA had sold some bombardier aircraft to Nigeria to fight criminality.

Even though the US President recognised the killings of Christians in Nigeria, there was no indictment on the govt and its agencies as against their position on terrorism fight under President Jonathan.

This entry shows GDP on a purchasing power parity basis divided by population as of 1 July for the same year. A nation's GDP at purchasing power parity (PPP) exchange rates is the sum value of all goods and services produced in the country valued at prices prevailing in the United States. This is the measure most economists prefer when looking at per-capita welfare and when comparing living conditions or use of resources across countries. The measure is difficult to compute, as a US dollar value has to be assigned to all goods and services in the country regardless of whether these goods and services have a direct equivalent in the United States (for example, the value of an ox-cart or non-US military equipment); as a result, PPP estimates for some countries are based on a small and sometimes different set of goods and services. In addition, many countries do not formally participate in the World Bank's PPP project that calculates these measures, so the resulting GDP estimates for these countries may lack precision. For many developing countries, PPP-based GDP measures are multiples of the official exchange rate (OER) measure. The differences between the OER- and PPP-denominated GDP values for most of the wealthy industrialized countries are generally much smaller.
